Purpose of Post:
The Marketing & Communications Officer will be responsible for the administration and co-ordination of consistent marketing and communications messages and activities, promotions, exhibitions, PR campaigns, social media, digital/website content, uphold brand integrity, which enhances and grows the reputation and awareness of IMO Charity.
The Marketing and Communications Officer will play a key role in supporting the Business Development Manager to manage the ‘public face’ of IMO Charity. Recently our members voted to create a new u3a Council to act as a conduit between the national body and the over 1000 independent u3as throughout the UK. The new Council will be the vehicle by which members’ views and priorities will feed into and shape the overall work of the u3a national body.
The Council Officer will support the implementation and running of the new u3a Council and play an integral role in embedding the Council into the existing structures of the Trust. As a key part of our team, you'll work alongside young people to provide homelessness crisis support when needed. Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Community Outreach Manager to manage and expand our outreach efforts. The Community Outreach Manager will be responsible for leading a team to deliver Betknowmore UK's Community Outreach services, engaging with local communities, and supporting individuals impacted by gambling harms.
This is a key leadership role that involves overseeing the service’s strategy, operations, and delivery, ensuring that services are accessible, effective, and meet the needs of diverse communities.

Key Requirements
Essential:

· Lead horizon scanning of central, local and devolved government policy developments (with the Senior Engagement & Development Officer – Wales) to assess implications for the voluntary sector.
