Healthwatch Milton Keynes' vision is that people's lived experiences are used to design and improve health and social care services and our mission is to champion people's rights and access to high-quality health and social care. We're seeking a project officer to deliver an exciting new project.
You’ll be interviewing patients who have been recently discharged from hospital to capture their experiences of hospital discharge and follow-up support. You’ll collate and report on their feedback, so it can be used by the teams of professionals working together to ensure discharge and post-discharge support works effectively for all. You'll have a key role in liasing with an integrated team of professionals to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the project and ongoing compliance with data processing agreements.
We're a small, driven team with a big role. The ideal postholder will be dynamic, flexible, self-motivated and most importantly, great and building rapport and talking to patients and families about their experiences. You'll be able to demonstrate your experience of working with people, communities and the professionals that provide their care. You'll also have a track record of working to, and meeting project deadlines and show a strong understanding and experience of compliance with GDPR and Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults.
You'll present evaluations and insight and report on the impact of our work, demonstrating the positive difference Healthwatch Milton Keynes makes to its beneficiaries.

Dementia Carers Count has an exciting opportunity for a remote role as our Communications & Digital Engagement Officer within our comms & growth team to help raise awareness of DCC.
Job Title: Communications & Digital Engagement Officer
Reports to: Marketing and Communications Manager
Contract: Permanent contract
Hours: 35 hours / week (28 hours / week considered, core days Tuesdays and Thursdays, minimum 4 days)

Job purpose
To support and deliver effective communications, including marketing and digital engagement activities, which raise awareness of Dementia Carers Count and foster connections with our community of carers, campaigners and donors. Your work will help us reach and support more carers, raise funds and campaign for changes which will ensure that no dementia carer feels isolated, invisible or alone.
Key responsibilities
•Understand our cause, linked issues, and how these are publicly perceived
•Horizon scan to spot social and news trends as well as potential influencer targets
•Manage our social platforms, keeping abreast of media and public zeitgeist about our cause and related issues. You will design and deliver paid advertising campaigns and monitor, respond, share, engage, comment on posts, according to our guidelines and with responsibility for reputation management
•Share audience insights with colleagues to ensure effective stewardship of all our defined audiences
•Support development of media relationships. You will curate press and media lists and respond to media queries, with shared out of hours responsibility.
•Draft statements and press releases and pitch ideas for articles and features, developing copy as needed and tracking coverage
•Support user-led story telling as part of content creation, including interviewing carers about their experiences and identifying opportunities to share carers’ voices in our materials
•Draft website copy and develop assets for digital use and printed materials which communicate our key messages and brand and which support specific campaigns
•Review and monitor evaluation and reporting metrics to provide regular and campaign-based management information relating to the success of digital and media activity
•Support effective cross-organisational internal communication
•Adhere to all relevant legislative and regulatory obligations relating to marketing, digital and communications
•Carry out other duties commensurate with this post as requested.

The Role

About the Role:
As our detail-oriented and problem-solving Leadership and Engagement Co-ordinator you will provide high quality co-ordination, administration and project support to the Leadership & Engagement Team.
In this role, you will:
- Co-ordinate logistics and provide administrative support for our learning, management and leadership programmes across WaterAid, including co-ordinating participant lists and invitations, logistical and travel administration, collation and production of materials, booking meetings, gathering and analysing evaluation data and other associated tasks.
- Provide administration of our learning management system (LMS), including managing users and all other LMS administration including setting up new starters and generating course completion reports.
- Provide administrative support for the pro bono coaching programme.
- Provide administrative support for psychometric assessments and 360-degree feedback including setting up assessments and managing responses.
- Monitor the Learning inbox and respond to and escalate queries as appropriate.
- Process invoices and expenses, ensuring complete and accessible records and reports on reasons for variances and provide cover for the Internal Communications and Engagement Officer.
- Provide contract management support ensuring compliance and best practice including the upload and registration of all Leadership and Engagement Team contracts on to WaterAid's contract register.
- Maintain Leadership and Learning pages on the global intranet.
- Support and update the global induction, keeping online resources up to date and supporting local People Teams with their local inductions. Project manage the global induction programme for senior leaders.
- Book, support and contribute to in person and virtual team meetings.
- Update & maintain learning resources and team files ensuring effective filing systems and GDPR compliance for the Leadership and Engagement Team through data cleansing and maintaining data security and integrity.
- Collaboratively work across the Leadership and Engagement Team, providing support and cross cover when necessary, including ensuring that all new team members are fully inducted and have access to and can use all relevant systems.
About You:
- Proven experience in providing excellent co-ordination and administration support to a team or an individual - including diary management and organisational skills.
- To be brilliantly organised and motivated by the desire to support others to be effective and efficient in their work.

This important role is a new position on the team and will lead on the delivery of an innovative and sustainable corporate strategy to develop new and existing partnerships in order to grow our corporate income streams.

The Role:
Reporting to the Deputy CFO FRAP, this is a pivotal finance role that oversees all financial activities within the Engagement Division, including ensuring solid financial governance and compliance with Oxfam’s statutory requirements and providing strategic financial advice to various stakeholders across the organisation to support decision making and the division’s operational objectives. This role also provides oversight and financial advice for large transformation projects and investment decision-making, working closely with the transformation and project teams on business cases and providing oversight for the financial results of these projects after going live. This role will lead a diverse team of finance business partners, management accountants and financial analysts who provide regulatory financial information, analysis, strategic planning, and insights to Oxfam GB’s Engagement team. The Engagement division is responsible for generating all of Oxfam GB’s £375m annual income from its networks of 550 shops, online retail operations, public supporters, and institutional donors. The division has ambitious growth for our retail channels and our individual donor supporters in the next five years.

You will play an important role in developing the strategy to drive transformational growth for the RNIB, empowering and supporting these teams to deliver plans, as well as effectively partnering with other departments across the organisation to embed a legacy fundraising culture within customer and public facing teams.

You'll also be a confident innovator, with experience of implementing new products and approaches in response to opportunities identified through market analysis.

The ultimate aim of these activities is to increase the number of active War on Want members who support their work through regular direct debit donations. As individual giving lead, you will join the team at a very exciting time. They have recently launched a new supporter mobilisation strategy to bring transformative growth to our supporter base. The starting salary is £46,636 and the role is hybrid working, with one day a month at War on Want’s head office. More in-person days are required on an ad-hoc basis.
