In this multifaceted role, you'll be responsible for both content creation and supporting unpaid Carers to become digitally connected. The Head of Public Affairs & Stakeholder Relations is a strategic and dynamic leadership position within the Policy and External Affairs directorate. You will lead and manage our influencing and engagement work with key policy, government, political and wider sector stakeholders. Community Drug and Alcohol Recovery Services (CDARS) is a charity organisation that provides psychological and social support to drug users and their family members.
As part of this work, it has built a track record of working with service user representatives, service user Councils and networks and service user involvement teams. This includes creating a strong Volunteer, Peer Mentor and Recovery Champion network and supporting them through training, supervision and access to additional personal and professional development areas.
The WCDAS and RCDAS Treatment services, led by South London and Maudsley (SLAM), are a community substance misuse ‘partnership’ service that offers a broad and inclusive range of support and treatment options for those seeking recovery from Substance use. This includes access to medical, psychological, and sustained recovery sessions within the Boroughs of Wandsworth and Richmond.
The Community Involvement Co-Ordinator (CIC) will deliver positive and improved outcomes for service users across both Boroughs. This will include creating solid relationships with other partners within the voluntary and community sector (VSC), including Job Centres, Work programmes, local businesses, and employers, to improve outcomes for service users through enhanced re-integration opportunities within the local Community. Another focus of the post will be to manage the Community Involvement Worker (CIW) , who will work closely with the Manager to recruit, train and nurture peer mentors and service user representatives. This support will aim to build capacity and visible recovery across the boroughs. Both post-holders will help develop, train and nurture meaningful service user involvement through the Service User Council network and its representatives throughout the treatment system.
The post holder will need to work under the directives of the CDARS Wandsworth Management Team, with the objective of facilitating engagement in all aspects of service user involvement. The post holder will be expected to foster and develop good working relationships with staff at all levels within the partnership and establish good working relationships with other agencies, both voluntary and state, within the two Boroughs.

About the role:
When a person or their family member sustains a spinal cord injury it is a life changing experience. They can feel very isolated and that no one understands what they’re going through.
Back Up’s mentoring service is there to help. We know that peer support can have a life changing impact and our Mentoring Team are the ones who can facilitate this through matching them with a suitable mentor who will be able to support them over a series of phone calls to reach their goals. The Mentoring Team Leader leads the team through providing excellent line management and driving the delivery of the team’s business plans to empower the team to ultimately support more people affected by spinal cord injury
In addition to leading the team, a Mentoring Team Lead will assist in creating mentoring relationships and support mentors and mentees as appropriate, assess mentee suitability and provide support in the process of identifying, recruiting and training new mentors.
A Mentoring Team Lead will be motivated to achieve the aims, targets and milestones that have been set in terms of making quality matches and will be comfortable and efficient with data management and GDPR compliance.

The Fundraising Manager is responsible for delivering our fundraising strategy and increasing our income from various income streams.

Background: Muslim Charities Forum (MCF) is the UK network for British Muslim-led Voluntary and Community Sector Organisations. MCF seeks to support, connect, and represent these organisations so that they can all experience the blessings of the collective. Through our network we support almost 300 charities and community organisations.
We aim to collectively build a more accountable, transparent, and efficient British Muslim-led Voluntary and Community Sector, to improve our ability—both as individual organisations and as a sector—to contribute to a more just and sustainable world. With the support of our member organisations and the strategic investors of MCF, we work with a wider network of partners that includes non-member NGOs, regulatory bodies, civil society partners, academics and over key stakeholders in the sector.

MCF has a small team, but our impact is far-reaching. Following a period of expansion, MCF is seeking an innovative, motivated and passionate individual to lead on its advocacy capacity building work, sector-wide advocacy work, and delivery of its strategic policy work.
The primary purpose of the role is to build capacity in Muslim-led Voluntary and Community Sector Organisations with differing scales of operating and programmatic focus areas. There will be a particular focus on those Muslim led organisations based in London.
You can expect to be leading on some of the areas as a priority in this role:
• Engaging in outreach with Muslim-led Voluntary and Community Sector Organisations.
• Producing relevant policy and advocacy capacity building materials suitable for those involved in Muslim-led Voluntary and Community Sector Organisations.
• Delivering capacity building engagements with those involved in Muslim-led Voluntary and Community Sector Organisations.
• Hosting roundtables and other group engagements to learn more about the policy and advocacy priorities of Muslim-led Voluntary and Community Sector Organisations.
• Strategically Managing a programmatic budget to outsource elements of MCF’s policy and advocacy capacity building initiatives.
• Building relationships with a range of stakeholders from across the Voluntary and Community Sector, Private Sector, and Public Sector to support capacity building initiatives with Muslim-led Voluntary and Community Sector Organisations. This is an exciting role overseeing MCF’s Policy and Advocacy Unit.

Responsible to: Support Team Manager
Location: Based in Loughborough, England. The role requires travel to all locations where Baca Services are delivered.

Overall Purpose
- To provide support and care to young people who are newly arrived in the country, providing the foundations for them to rebuild their strength, dignity and grow their hope for their futures.

The Community Energy Network is funded by the National Lottery’s Climate Action Fund and will be run through a partnership between Bath and North East Somerset Council, Bath and West Community Energy, the University of Bath and the multi-agency BANES Community Wellbeing Hub.
Project Background
To tackle the climate crisis and fuel poverty, we are going to need a LOT more people involved, taking action in whatever ways they can. Fortunately, there are hundreds of people in our area who are already stepping up to do this.
Our vision for the energy transition has two elements. Firstly, we must reduce energy demand, particularly from homes, where high energy bills are causing serious social problems. Secondly, we must ensure that the remaining energy demand is met by clean local renewable energy, owned by and with benefits retained by the local community.
The Energy Outreach Coordinators will support people taking action on both these elements.
Job Purpose
We are looking for a motivated community organiser and project manager to recruit, inspire and support a diverse range of Home Energy Champions within a new BANES Community Energy Network.
The Home Energy Outreach Coordinator will recruit and support people who champion domestic energy efficiency in diverse ways; as members of community organisations, frontline agencies and those involved in BWCE’s previous projects. The Home Energy Outreach Coordinator will help create a strong, positive identity for these Home Energy Champions. They will work with others to curate, develop and run a programme of events, celebration, training and networking to meet a range of needs. In addition, they will provide more structured support for Home Energy Advice Champions, Home Energy Neighbourhoods (neighbours taking home energy action together) and existing Champions from previous projects. The role sits within BWCE’s Communications and Engagement team and the post holder will be supported by energy experts from BWCE and the Centre for Sustainable Energy.
Principal tasks
- Volunteer recruitment and support: Build a strong cohort of Home Energy Champions, including 50 Energy Advice Champions and other champions acting in different ways.
- Programme development: As part of the Community Energy Network, co-develop, innovate and implement a support programme for existing and new people who champion home energy efficiency.
- Organise group activities including drop-in sessions, roadshows, follow-on activities from our Green Open Homes programme and Home Energy Neighborhoods.
- Partnership working with the range of community organisations and agencies to ensure the Home Energy champions complement the work of others. This includes bringing in new partners to the Home Energy strand of the Network where opportunities arise, for example social housing providers or Parish Councils.
- Project Management: Take a project management approach to organising, scheduling, monitoring and prioritising tasks and managing risks.
- Communications: Provide content for promotional materials that will resonate with target audiences, as part of the Community Energy Network communications strategy and with support from communications colleagues.
- Evaluation: Undertake data collection and the reporting of Network activities, supporting evaluation through follow-up surveys, case studies, focus groups, working with Bath University
