The role

About you

You will need to show success in achieving income growth, and be experienced across several income streams, including managing strategic partnerships from the corporate world, working strategically with national bodies (e.g. Arts Council) and a deep understanding of fundraising campaigns. You will have exceptional communication skills across all audiences, including working at board level, and have an excellent understanding of financial planning and reporting. You will be a natural leader, who can engage, motivate and inspire the development department, and play a key part in building a strong and inclusive organisational culture, as part of our ED&I commitments.

Pregnancy Options Centre (Options) are seeking a Fundraising and Marketing Officer to raise funds for our counselling and education services: supporting people in crisis or distress around unplanned pregnancy or pregnancy loss experiences and educating the next generation on matters surrounding sexual health and healthy relationships. Key Responsibilities
Fundraising and Finance:
- To carry out and contribute to the fundraising strategy

About the Organisation
The Grenfell Education Hub will open later this year to serve those most affected by the Grenfell Tower tragedy. The hub will provide educational support to children and young people, their families, and local schools.
Following a consultation process in 2023 and 2024, the hub will bring together a team of professionals, including four specialist teachers, an Educational Psychologist, a Speech and Language Therapist, an Occupational Therapist, a Careers Coordinator, and a Family Support Worker. The role
This role is varied, providing an opportunity to learn and understand many aspects of the Trust’s work and ecosystem. To be considered for this role you will be required to have proven experience of managing administrative processes for in-person or hybrid events, great interpersonal skills, a passion to learn and understand the community, as well as a good knowledge of online project management tools and CRM systems.
The role will be responsible for:
· Contribute to the Global Programming portfolio, supporting to deliver keystone Alumni events such as reunions, UK and global Alumni events, and supporting constituencies with less activity, ensuring a proactive calendar of Alumni activities
· Support with general administration as requested, particularly regarding the Global Alumni Advisory Board (GAAB) and Lifelong Fellowship and Impact Committee (LFIC) including coordinating meetings, drafting meeting agendas and minutes, printing or sending of presentations, collating of information for reporting, following up on action items and other communication materials as appropriate
· Monitor the Alumni mailbox and ensure a timely reply to all queries and requests directed to them (including connecting Alumni who are looking for other Scholars). Provide appropriate responses to a varied range of enquiries from community members by email, phone, post and in person. Tactfully and diplomatically recognise and quickly resolve any potential issues raised
· Under the guidance of the Global Programmes and Alumni Engagement Lead, lead on key Alumni engagement initiatives as required, for example the annual Meeting Minds Alumni Dinner
· Ensure that all Rhodes Alumni Associations are up to date regarding the activities of the Rhodes Trust and where appropriate and possible, provide Alumni Associations with administrative support for their key events and engagement activities. Manage day-to-day contact and services to the network of Alumni Groups and Alumni Associations
· Together with the Communications team, support with mailings, Rhodes Connect content and social media activity that ensures that Rhodes Alumni are up to date and engaged in the activities of the Rhodes Community
· Role modelling the Trust’s organisational values of commitment, inclusion, belonging, growth and innovation.
· Carrying out any other duties relevant to the role, as requested.

Essential skills, experience and qualifications:

Main purpose of role:
The primary purpose of this role is to develop and deliver innovative direct marketing campaigns that drive donor engagement across our regular giving and cash programmes. As an Individual Giving Officer, you will play a crucial role in shaping our fundraising program. A highlight of this opportunity is supporting the delivery of our flagship BBC Radio 4 Christmas appeal, a campaign that is now in its 99th year and generates nearly £2m each year.
We have ambitious plans in place to expand our donor base and increase income through our individual giving activity and we are looking for a passionate, strategic professional who can help us turn these plans into reality. This role offers an exciting blend of strategic planning and campaign delivery giving you the chance to make a real difference in supporting our work preventing homelessness.
Main duties and responsibilities:
• Project manage multiple direct marketing campaigns delivering accurate campaigns on time, on budget and to a high standard.
• Work across the organisation to gather engaging content for our direct marketing activities. Write and review copy for collateral used for engagement, conversion and acquisition activities.
• Completing relevant campaign management documents including post-activity analysis reports, identifying learnings and recommendations for future campaigns, and writing internal and external briefs.
• Support the Head of Individual Giving with forecasting and reporting across financial and non-financial KPIs in relation to the Individual Giving programme.
• Ensure excellent communication and liaison between the St Martin’s Charity’s Fundraising team, marketing agencies, suppliers and key stakeholders.
• Work with the CRM Manager to ensure that all campaign data is utilised and captured efficiently, effectively and accurately.
• Work with the Senior Digital Marketing Manager to ensure the Charity optimises digital fundraising opportunities in relation to individual giving.
• Acting as a day-to-day contact with external agencies ensuring high quality delivery of campaigns on time and on budget.
• Maintain a close working relationship with the Supporter Care Officer so that they are aware of all activity and able to respond to enquiries and complaints
• Keep abreast of key individual giving fundraising trends and issues and the regulatory environment.
• Ensure all St Martin’s Charity’s Individual Giving communications are consistent with the Charity’s brand values.

About the role
The Marketing Lead (Membership and Events) is responsible for leading on the marketing activities for the Association’s income generating products and services, including member recruitment, member retention and educational events.
