The role

Starting between £55,000 to £60,000 per annum depending on experience

About you

Our location

We are based in Hatfield, Hertfordshire, so we are easily accessible by road and rail.

We have a hybrid approach to the way we work. Our Senior Executive Team meet with our Senior Leadership Team twice a month on a Monday. These meetings are face to face. One is in central London and one is at our Hatfield office. In addition, you will be required to attend at least four face to face organisational All Staff Together days which are predominantly in Hatfield, one directorate meeting a month in Hatfield, as well as attending the Hatfield office with the rest of the HR team one day a week. One to one’s will be face to face with direct line reports and your line manager once a quarter.

About the role

We’re looking for an Executive assistant with excellent organisational skills and a proactive approach to join our CEO Office.

In this role, the successful applicant will provide proactive and efficient administrative support to the Directors of Young Lives vs Cancer. Their responsibilities will include managing complex diaries, coordinating travel and meetings, maintaining documentation systems, and supporting governance and leadership functions. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the senior leadership team, allowing them to focus on delivering the charity’s mission and strategic priorities.

While this position does not involve direct line management, it does require close collaboration with the CEO office and a wide range of individuals in the organisation, acting as a key liaison between the Directors and other stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be highly organised, discreet, and confident in managing sensitive information. Strong communication skills, technological proficiency, and a proactive, problem-solving mindset are essential.

The wider team is collaborative, mission-driven, and committed to creating an inclusive, equitable environment. Their main aim is to deliver impactful support to children and young people facing cancer, and the administrative team plays a crucial role in enabling this by keeping operations running smoothly behind the scenes.

What will I be doing?

No two days are the same at Young Lives vs Cancer. So, summarising your ‘day to day’ isn’t easy. Here are some of the main things you’ll be doing, but you’ll find more details in the job description.

• Manage complex diaries and schedules for Directors, coordinating meetings and ensuring timely communication of changes
• Organise travel arrangements and support logistics for Directors.
• Maintain and manage team documentation, files, and resources to ensure accessibility and organisation.
• Coordinate internal and external meetings, including booking rooms, managing virtual platforms, and preparing documentation.
• Support the Executive Assistant to the CEO with task delegation, project coordination, and communication across leadership.
• Process expense claims, invoices, and credit card returns for Directors in a timely and accurate manner.
• Organise team away days and events, across different Directorates.

Turn2us is a national charity tackling financial insecurity and its structural causes. We work with co-producers and partners to provide people in financial crisis with the means and agency to get back on their feet, build resilience, move forward with their lives and thrive.

The Engagement Manager employed by Turn2us will deliver activity with smaller charities and grassroots organisations supporting those facing financial insecurity that:

• Increases awareness of the impact of environmental change and related policy on different communities 
• Listens to people in these communities to find out what actions they want charities and local government to take
• Develops shared local environmental policy priorities and empowers these organisations to advocate directly to local and national policy makers
• Identifies actions that these organisations can take to support communities to respond to climate change, and helps organisations to implement them
• Identifies people with lived experience to receive hands on training in order to act as diverse champions to media and policy makers

They will work closely with Community Engagement Managers employed by Disability Rights UK, and Race Equality Foundation, focussed on reaching organisations supporting Disabled people and people from ethnic minority communities.

You'll be an experienced qualified High Intensity Therapist with BABCP accreditation who likes working as part of a supportive team to help clients who struggle with common mental health problems such as anxiety and/or depression.

You will be responsible for the clinical supervision of Mind and Body Practitioners and CBT Therapists. Supervision will be provided on both an individual and group basis. You will be expected to support the clinical governance of the Mind and Body service.

Smart Works is looking for a Head of Data & Impact to play a pivotal part in ensuring that Smart Works is a data-driven organisation, where insight and analysis underpin strategic decision-making and service delivery.

The Helen Bamber Foundation, founded in 2005 by the pioneering human rights advocate Helen Bamber, was created to reflect the evolving global patterns of violence and persecution. As UK Youth’s go-to person for Microsoft Dynamics 365, you’ll manage our CRM system at the heart of our digital operations. Key Responsibilities

• Be the go-to person for all things Dynamics 365 and Portal-related.

• Own the CRM service desk—your ability to prioritise tasks will directly impact how smoothly teams across the charity operate.

• Liaise with external suppliers to ensure a high-quality service for users.

• Manage user roles, access levels, and license use.

• Ensure licenses match business needs and are used efficiently.

• Manage the CRM budget and supplier contracts.

• Maintain strong supplier relationships and enforce service agreements.

• Collaborate with the IT Manager to deliver integrations.

• Stay current with Dynamics updates and apply improvements.

• Maintain data quality across systems.

• Help teams with data extraction and reporting as needed.

Experience, Skills & Experience we're after

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365; certifications a bonus.

• Experience supporting portals (Umbraco familiarity is desirable).

• Skilled in configuring Dynamics 365 and using Power Platform tools (Power Apps, Power Automate).

• Experience delivering Agile projects.

• Proven success as a product owner or functional consultant.

• Understanding of GDPR and data protection compliance.

• Strong grasp of Infosec and Microsoft 365 architecture.

• Experience handling first and second-line operational issues.

• Confident working with stakeholders at all levels.

• Solid customer service and relationship-building track record.

• Experience with strategy development or project management is a plus.
