Job Description

Quality Assurance

• Deal with external and internal enquiries
• Work closely with Industry Engagement and Partnership team to deliver industry-led (external) accreditation in a timely manner
• Lead the materials ordering process, including the distribution of certificates and badges to regional offices and external partners
• Take the lead on external partner feedback surveys, student data requests and observation reports, working with partners to ensure their completion and return
• Manage Quality Assurance data dashboards and work with the Head of Impact to provide evaluation and impact statistics for external Industrial Cadets accreditations
• Liaise with the Marketing team to update Industrial Cadets and Quality Assurance partner materials (such as certificates and information packs) on a periodic basis
• Perform an internal Quality Assurance moderation process three times a year to ensure consistency of delivery from internal teams and escalate any feedback where appropriate

CRM Support

• Be a Hubspot ‘super-admin’, acting as an initial point of contact for internal staff queries, making changes to the system and escalating queries internally and to external partners where appropriate
• Manage the support ticketing process for Hubspot queries
• Support, and eventually lead, weekly online Hubspot drop-in sessions for internal staff enquiries
• Perform data quality audits on Hubspot, ensuring data is entered consistently by teams in accordance with their processes, cleansing data where appropriate

Business Improvement

• Actively support the Quality Assurance Manager and Operations Director on continuous improvement projects, including supporting with team requirement gathering and process documentation
• Proactively identify opportunities to streamline internal processes or potential new initiatives, communicating this to the Quality Assurance Manager

The ideal candidate for the Chief Officer position will have a passion for creativity and community engagement, along with strong leadership, bid writing and strategic planning skills. This role involves overseeing all aspects of the Centre’s operations, including program development, fundraising, and community outreach. 

This role can influence the delivery of the mental health agenda across Greater Manchester and requires the jobholder to be a positive leader and role model for the CLC’s members, employees, and volunteers. 

The Chief Officer will also work on behalf of the Charity to develop and deliver the Vision and Mission through the delivery of the strategic plan, ensuring the CLC’s ongoing sustainability, growth, and success in todays challenging economic environment

Key Responsibilities: 

• Develop and provide strategic leadership and direction to the Creative Living Centre. 

• Develop and implement programs that align with our mission and goals. 

• Oversee budgets, expenditure and management accounts ensuring that income and expenditure is within planned targets. Accountable to the Board of Trustees for the overall financial health of the CLC, including ensuring that new funding opportunities are pursued. 

• Oversee fundraising efforts and build relationships with donors and sponsors. 

• Manage the Centre’s budget and ensure financial sustainability, asset management and risk appraisal. 

• Foster a positive and inclusive community environment. 

• Represent the Centre at public events and in the media.

What you can expect in return 

The role is part-time, 26.5 hours per week. The successful candidate can work the hours in a variable pattern which can suit both parties, subject to agreement with the CLC’s board of trustees. The successful candidate will be required to spend time at the CLC each week.

Key Responsibilities:  

People HR Processes 

• Undertake all admin related to recruitment, onboarding and offboarding staff members

• To contribute significant expertise in fuel poverty support services, energy advice and energy saving interventions to other CSE projects.
• To manage projects with strategic importance within CSE’s work delivering advice on energy and fuel poverty support to a range of householders and liaise with, and report to project partners and funders on a timely basis.
• All projects are delivered in an effective, timely and resource efficient manner, and in accordance with the needs and priorities of both fuel poverty stakeholders and partners and the needs of clients and funders.
• Effective learning processes and practices are embedded in project development and delivery cycles; we are clear and honest about our strengths and weaknesses; and that key evidence is shared and used to inform the development and prioritisation of future projects.
• Work with the Director of HES to develop the organisation’s business plan for the year ahead, forecasting staffing needs and helping to establish the yearly budget for the team.
•  To oversee key aspects of delivery in the HES advice portfolio, including project monitoring and evaluation and supporting senior staff in their work.
• To lead the development of new project proposals, contributing realistic methods and accurate costing forecasts (including staff time and direct costs) and bringing project partners on board where necessary.
• To work with project managers to cultivate strategic positive relationships both locally and nationally to help realise funding opportunities to sustain and grow our work and impact, in line with CSE’s strategic objectives. 
• To develop partnerships and liaise with a range of stakeholders, potentially including other advice agencies, local authorities, voluntary sector associations and housing associations.
• To hold the role of Work Programme Lead for the Fuel Poverty & Vulnerable Customer Work Programme.

Join Pyramid as our Development Manager and drive positive change! We're looking for a dynamic individual to help us shape the future of inclusive arts by growing Pyramid’s revenue streams and public profile. This is a new role at Pyramid which supports business development by focusing on fundraising and increasing public awareness of our work. In this role, you will be responsible for generating, growing, and retaining revenues from new and existing channels (including public and private donations, fundraising events, private sector partnerships and public funding schemes).  Liaising with the Director, you will identify and develop funding bids, contracts, and tenders, as well as other sources of income, to enable Pyramid to thrive and grow. You will take responsibility for Pyramid’s public profile, including social media accounts, news articles on its website and press releases, assisted by the Marketing and Communications Officer, whom you will line-manage.

Purpose of the post

• To work alongside the Director and Board of Trustees to develop and implement a revenue generation strategy which grows and diversifies Pyramid’s income streams, supporter base and public profile.
• To support Pyramid’s current and future financial stability by identifying and accessing a wide range of funding streams, including (but not limited to) corporate sponsorship, grants, contracts, commissions, philanthropy, and donations.
• To seek out and initiate opportunities to expand our networks, identifying and engaging with potential new projects, supporters, and influencers.
• To monitor and review Pyramid’s activities in relation to income and impact, and to make recommendations for change and development where appropriate.
• To supervise and collaborate with the Marketing and Communications Officer in developing suitable content to build Pyramid’s public profile, and directly support fundraising efforts by ensuring our website, social media channels and print material are kept up to date with fundraising news and activities that inspire engagement and giving.

Main tasks:

Strategic

• Responsibility for overseeing and delivering on specific action plans / areas within plans related to business growth and development and monitoring / reporting on progress.

Financial

• To diversify Pyramid’s revenue streams, with a focus on building unrestricted income.
• To work with the Director to prepare budgets, cashflow forecasts and spending reports, and to present finance information to the Trustees, members, and other stakeholders as appropriate.
• To co-write funding applications and monitoring / evaluation reports with the Director.
• To ensure compliance with funder agreements and that contractual obligations are met.

Engagement

• To work collaboratively with Pyramid’s voluntary Fundraising Team, coordinating and supporting their activities as appropriate.
• To ensure a strong online presence and that high-quality print information is made available for fundraising and business initiatives.

Administrative

• To coordinate the fundraising workload of staff by developing, maintaining, and monitoring the fundraising pipeline and timelines for all sources of income.
• To maintain accurate and comprehensive financial records and documentation relating to funding streams, and income and expenditure.
• To monitor and report on public engagement with fundraising campaigns and strategies.

Operational

• To make arrangements for and at fundraising events, exhibitions, and functions.
• To line manage the Marketing and Communications Officer and be accountable for the day-to-day responsibilities of the Marketing and Communications Officer.
• To attend and contribute to the regular meetings of staff, trustees, and sub-committees as needed.

As Supporter Care Manager you will play a key role in Viva’s Fundraising & Engagement team, building relationships with and providing exceptional supporter care to our donors – including individuals, churches and community groups. About Lepra

Lepra is dedicated to addressing leprosy and lymphatic filariasis (LF) and their consequences through direct support, advocacy, and the promotion of inclusive communities. We work in Bangladesh and in India, through our sister organisation, LEPRA Society. We work in partnership with people affected by leprosy and LF to improve detection, ensure access to treatment and care, and promote inclusion and wellbeing. We have just finalised our new Global Strategy for 2024-30, which will guide us in our efforts to accelerate progress towards global targets for leprosy and LF, and towards our vision of a world free from leprosy and LF.

Job Context

Our new Global Strategy introduces some new approaches and priorities to our work, including: our first ever global Theory of Change (ToC), the most detailed Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) approach ever, and a sub-strategy dedicated to research, innovation and technology: the Global Research, Innovation and Technology Strategy (GRITS). With the finalisation of the new strategy, and as part of our ongoing commitment to improving our impact and efficiency, we are now seeking a consultant to provide specialised research support and technical advice.

Job Purpose

The primary objectives of this role are to lead the transitional phase of the GRITS, creating a detailed operational plan for its implementation; support the management of the existing research portfolio ensuring technical soundness, budget adherence and timely delivery; establish a sustainable pathway for research expertise to be led by in-country professionals.
