What the job involves
This is a unique chance to play a pivotal role in driving impactful external communication strategies that support Individual Giving and Events and Community Fundraising. As a key player in the Strategic Communications, Campaigns and Brand team, you’ll enable the integration of mass fundraising activities into wider organisational communications, inspiring action to fund life-saving initiatives that help men navigate prostate cancer.
Supporting the Head of Strategic Communications, Campaigns and Brand in embedding and developing our Business Partnering model. A major part of the role will be enabling the integration of Mass Fundraising activity into the wider communications plan to enhance results from our communications.
You’ll guide the planning process for projects and campaigns to grow fundraising revenue, support our community and improve outcomes for all men affected by and at risk of prostate cancer.
Please note this role is known internally as Communications Business Partner (Mass).
What we want from you
You’ll have proven expertise in communications business partnering, with experience in mass or public fundraising. Working within our Strategic Communication team, you’ll have a strong understanding of campaign planning tools like OASIS and a solid grasp of PR, social media, and integrated marketing strategies. You’ll be an exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to simplify complex information for diverse audiences in particular mass fundraising engagement.
As natural collaborator, you’ll have skills in influencing, coaching and motivating teams to achieve ambitious results within project management.

The Avenues is an exceptional West London youth centre that guides disadvantaged children and young people to explore and develop new skills, connect with their peers and our trusted staff, and find their confidence. However, you may equally have experience in sales and marketing in a commercial environment.
Either way, you will be skilled at budgeting and presenting financial information in easy to understand formats. You are a relationship builder and collaborative worker with a creative and proactive approach to problem-solving.

Role Purpose

3. Donor Relationships and Stewardship
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key donors, including major benefactors, grant funders, and parish-level supporters.
- Implement donor stewardship strategies to retain and grow the donor base through regular communication, engagement opportunities, and recognition initiatives.
- Foster a culture of stewardship across the Diocese communicating the difference it makes.

4. Parish Support and Capacity Building

- Support the promotion and coordination of Second Collections across the Diocese for key causes, ensuring that parishes are well-equipped with:

- Good-quality promotional materials (posters, leaflets, digital assets) to help communicate the impact of these collections.
- Regular updates on fundraising results to encourage participation and engagement.
5. Compliance, Policy Development, and Governance
- Develop and implement fundraising policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards.
- Stay up to date with fundraising laws and best practices, ensuring all activities meet Charity Commission, GDPR, and financial regulations.
- Ensure that data protection regulations are upheld in all fundraising activities, particularly regarding donor records and CRM management.
6. Collaboration and Communication
- Work closely with the Communications Manager to ensure that fundraising messages align with Diocesan values and the Mission Plan.
- Share compelling impact stories to inspire and encourage giving across the Diocese.
7. Meeting Attendance and Reporting
- Attend meetings of the Finance, Audit, and Risk Committee, providing updates on fundraising activities and seeking necessary approvals.

Regional Fundraising Manager (West Wales)
Join Wales’ leading cancer charity as a Fundraiser and manage raising funds across an already established West Wales region. There’s loads of scope to generate more income and grow connections.
You’ll be joining an experienced Wales fundraising team who generate over £2.8million of annual income. Your fundraising impact is seen in people affected by cancer through the services we run, the difference to lives we make and the campaigns that make meaningful change.
You’ll be managing and building relationships across West Wales with our supporters, Friends of Tenovus groups and establishing new fundraising connections and work with teams of volunteers. You can expect to manage events such as our annual Lovelight concerts, Singathons and Breast Cancer Awareness Month to name just a few.
Your region is already warm with strong supporter connections and exciting development opportunities to grow across the region in places like Swansea, Aberystwyth, Haverfordwest to Carmarthen.
Whilst it’d be great if you’ve done Third Sector Fundraising it isn’t a must have to be considered as we’ll consider transferable skills.

Working Hours: 35 hours per week with flexible working
Due to the nature of our fundraising work you’ll need to be flexible at times to work evenings and weekends. Around this we work core 11am-3pm hours to flexibly suit work around your lifestyle and personal commitments and operate our work flexibly between 7am – 9pm so you can do things like the school runs or fit in wellness activities and hobbies with your working life.

About you
To succeed in the role, you should have:
- Proven experience of showcasing the impact of a charitable organisation for an audience of high-level donors, preferably in a medical science context, to foster repeat and lifelong support.
- Proven experience of producing high specification documents for a discerning readership, encompassing experience in copywriting, desktop publishing including InDesign and the effective use of images.
- Demonstrable project management experience, preferably in producing short and longform written materials from conception to delivery, in both digital and hard copy formats.
- Experience of working with internal and external stakeholders towards a common goal.
- Ability to work autonomously and deliver high quality work to a deadline.
- Familiarity with fundraising databases such as OneCRM and Raiser's Edge databases, would be a valuable bonus.

Direct Marketing Manager-Retention at the Disasters Emergency Committee is pivotal when we launch an appeal. Experience
Essential:
- Degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
- At least three years’ experience in a digital marketing or content management role.
- Strong experience managing websites (WordPress) and social media platforms.
- Proven track record in developing and executing digital campaigns (organic and paid).
- Knowledge of SEO best practices, Google Analytics, and digital performance tracking.
- Experience using CRM and email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, HubSpot, or Raiser’s Edge).
- Ability to create engaging content, with excellent copywriting and proofreading skills.
- Strong graphic design skills using Canva, Adobe Photoshop, or InDesign.
- Basic video editing skills for social media and web content.
- Experience working with third-party agencies to develop and refine digital strategies.
Desirable:
- Additional qualifications in SEO, Google Analytics, UX/UI, or Digital Strategy.
- Experience working in a charity or non-profit sector.
- Familiarity with fundraising or donor engagement campaigns.
- Experience running A/B testing to improve digital engagement.

Our Wales Delivery team are looking for someone who’s enthusiastic and well connected to the tech and digital sector in South Wales to become the new Digital Manager in Cardiff.
We deliver a range of programmes to support young people to develop their digital skills and move into employment; in tech/digital roles, or roles that are enabled through digital skills. You will develop new and maintain existing partnerships with employers and partners in the digital and tech sector in Wales, specifically to provide employment outcome opportunities for young people within our target groups.
The key aspects of the role include:
- Supporting young people into employment outcomes
- Establish new employer partnerships in the digital and tech sector in Wales
- Ensure The Prince's Trust is connected to employers and employment networks and training providers in the Cardiff City Region and South Wales region
- Manage partnerships to ensure safe and quality delivery for young people in line with Trust policy and guidance
- Ensure data and impact reporting information is captured accurately and timely to support contract drawdown
- Advocate Equality, Diversity, Inclusion (EDI) in line with The Trust strategy
- Be part of the Wales Leadership Team
This role is perfect for you if you have a good network within South Wales and a strong understanding of the impact digital skills can have to support young people into positive outcomes. An understanding of the needs and challenges of young people would be a strong advantage.
