The Individual Giving and Legacies Manager role sits within the charity’s Public Fundraising team, which as well as Individual Giving, Legacies and In-Memory Fundraising, includes Events and Community Fundraising.

The successful candidate will play a vital role in Cure Parkinson’s continued ambitious growth. Joining us at an exciting time for the charity, you would be part of a small but dynamic team with the opportunity to develop and make your own mark.

You will lead the growth of our Individual Giving programme, bringing new donors on board across traditional and digital streams. You will be responsible for the retention and reactivation of supporters, maximising their lifetime value; ensuring the best possible supporter experience and delivering annual net income growth in individual giving.

You will also lead our small legacy programme, which has huge ambition for growth; maximising the opportunities available to encourage new and current supporters to leave a gift in their Will. You will be responsible for any legacy administration, working alongside internal and external parties to ensure that all estates are correctly administered, and that we realise the full value of the legacies left to Cure Parkinson’s.

You will be working with supporters to answer their questions about legacy and in-memory giving, and working with the next of kin to ensure that their loved one's legacy is cherished.

You will have strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as being a collaborative team member. You will be supported by the Head of Public Fundraising to achieve transformational results across Individual Giving and Legacies. • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of project officers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. 
• Build and maintain the team’s programme of activities, ensuring resources are appropriately planned to deliver individual projects as needed.
• Work with the Head of Workforce Development and Training and Workforce Project Officers to plan and agree deliverable programmes of work over the college year.
• Oversee the successful planning, execution, and delivery of workforce development initiatives, ensuring alignment with RCR objectives.
• Undertake market research to evaluate the viability of proposed new workforce initiatives, targeting those with the greatest impact and reach.
• Establish and oversee necessary quality assurance mechanisms for workforce and training programmes.

Job Purpose

The Digital Transformation Manager leads THET’s efforts to transform our own programmes of work and the way THET operates, and also that of the Health Partnership community to better incorporate and enable best practice in digital solutions.

The Digital Transformation Manager will work with teams across the organisation to consider how in every aspect of THET’s work we can transform our use of technology to achieve greater efficiencies and effectiveness, improve inclusivity and equity, and whilst reducing our carbon footprint.

Digital Transformation is a key enabler for the organisation to help advance access to health services in low-and-middle-income countries, via activities such as building online communities, online learning for health workforces in complex and humanitarian settings, e-health, amongst others.

This role will require engagement across the different departments of THET including programmes, and research, evidence and learning, and external engagement, as well as engaging with external stakeholders to drive and raise visibility of this agenda. This is an external-facing role - the ideal candidate will be able to translate their technical digital skills to non-technical experts both in the UK and different cultures around the world.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy

• Lead the review and delivery of THET’s digital transformation strategy.
• Lead and implement THET’s digital enablers to support the organisation’s strategic plan

Programme Management

• Develop and enhance the user experience of both external and internal stakeholders across key digital products including the THET website, Pulse platform, learning platforms and bespoke applications.
• Conduct user research and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive a long-term strategy across our digital portfolio

Stakeholder and project management

• Provide guidance and capacity development to both THET staff and the Health Partnership community on digital implementations and best practice
• Ensure THET has accurate data and analytics to support operations and programmes across
• Project manage key digital projects including scoping, testing, implementation, and review.
• Engage with external experts to promote and drive THET’s digital agenda across the global health sector.
• Lead and develop THET’s digital reporting mechanism to track the success of digital implementation across programmes.
• Lead a Digital Transformation Working Group to support digital transformation across THET and the wider HP community.

External representation and publicization

• Representation at key THET and external events raising visibility of digital working within health partnerships and across the health partnership community.
• Working with THET external engagement and research evidence and learning teams to deliver communisations and policy documents on digital transformation.

Fundraising and digital transformation project design

• Lead fundraising for digital transformation at THET, working closely with colleagues across the organisation.
• Support colleagues in integrating digital transformation across project proposals.
• Reporting back to donors to demonstrate the value of THET’s digital interventions

Operations

• Manage third party providers including vendors and Managed Service Providers, ensuring compliance with SLA’s.
• Working with the Chief Operating Officer, ensure THET has adequate and appropriate IT infrastructure and cybersecurity processes in support with IT MSP

Line Management

• Line manages the Digital Transformation Officer
• Mentor and coach other team members as required

About the team

This role sits within Shelter’s Technology and Data Department (T&D), encompassing IT, Data and Insight, Data Compliance and Business Enablement, the department is made up of circa 50 people based in across the country with bases in London, Sheffield and Edinburgh.  This role will report directly to the Assistant Director of Technology and Data and will be required to work closely with several senior stakeholders across Shelter.

We have an exciting opportunity to join the St Mungo’s Digital Fundraising team as a Digital Fundraising Manager. You will be joining our small and dedicated team, working as part of the wider fundraising directorate to contribute towards the growth and success of St Mungo’s Digital Fundraising Strategy, which ultimately supports people experiencing homelessness and our aim to end rough sleeping for good.

You will work with our Digital Fundraising Officers to develop and deliver our programme of digital marketing and content development across paid and owned channels to raise income for St Mungo’s. We have ambitious plans to grow our digital fundraising, and this role will be key in developing our programme over the coming years. Key responsibilities in this role will include:

• Providing line management, support and supervision to team members, overseeing their delivery of paid and organic social media activity, our email programme, search activity and website UX development.
• Leading on content strategies and content production.
• Monitoring and analysing the performance of our digital channels and making recommendations to feed into our digital strategy. 

About you

• You will be a creative and proactive person, able to lead a team delivering digital marketing and content across a range of channels.

• You will have experience of monitoring and analysing performance data and audience insights to improve digital campaigns and programmes.   

In this role you will be required to work flexibly for at least 2 days per week from our Central Office in Tower Hill, London. As Project Manager, you'll oversee the entire project lifecycle, from planning and execution to delivery. The Alumni Programmes Manager will sit within the Programmes team and will report to the Head of Alumni Engagement. The Sutton Trust’s alumni programme aims to develop a vibrant community of alumni who are offered ongoing support, and who in turn can give back to the Trust in a variety of ways.

Our careers offering of activity to alumni post-18 – predominantly reaching those who are studying at undergraduate level – was launched in 2021 to aid employability and career support for this group. In addition to the new programmatic offering, 2021 saw the launch of two new bursary schemes targeted at this group, funded by corporate partners. The Alumni Programmes Manager plays a central role working with corporates and delivering and piloting new programmes for alumni – including ringfenced placements or insight opportunities. The role will be responsible for the management of the application process, as well as coordinating promotion, delivery of programme activity, and programme evaluation. They will line manage the Alumni Assistant and oversee their workload to ensure support across both the careers and bursary programmes, as well as support across the full range of alumni work. They will also oversee the Alumni Assistant to deliver practical aspects of the post-18 work such as organising webinars, managing enquiries and communicating with bursary recipients to track their progress.

The Alumni Programmes Manager will work also closely with the Programmes and Development teams to support on funding relationships for donors to the Trust’s employability and alumni work and continue to develop and deliver impactful employability and bursary programmes for our community of young alumni 0-5 years out, across a range of sectors.

Main duties
Duties will fall broadly into the following categories, but may change as the role develops and the alumni/post-18 offering grows:

• Lead on planning and delivery of all career and employability-based communications to alumni 0-5 years out of their programme
• Lead on the planning and delivery of the application and allocation process for the two alumni employability bursaries, supported by the Alumni Assistant and keeping the Head of Alumni Engagement and other senior stakeholders at the Trust and the funders informed and involved where appropriate
• Work with the Finance and Operations team to oversee funding allocation for bursary recipients and ensure payment guidelines are followed, and regularly reviewed.
• Lead on the management of the key termly check-in process with bursary recipients including supporting the Alumni Assistant and other team members required to deliver a proportion of the calls.
• Manage day-to-day delivery of employability bursaries evaluation framework, working with colleagues in the wider Trust on data and insights
• Manage the curation and implementation of digital employability resources for STA
• Manage communications to drive engagement with students in the alumni employability programmes and resources on STA
• Curate a programme of in-person employability events e.g. networking events or workshops, across a range of sectors and in response to student demand, to meet the employability needs of Sutton Trust alumni
• Working with the employability team to support the design and delivery of events and activities on the existing alumni employability programmes – e.g. Careers Plus
• Line manage the Alumni Assistant who supports on post-18 activity as well as the wider Alumni team
• Working with colleagues to manage the Trust’s day-to-day relationship with corporate and programme delivery partners for opportunities to support post-18 employability programmes, representing this area of work across the Trust and sometimes externally
• Working with the Head of Alumni Engagement to maintain key stakeholder relationships including with the alumni bursary corporate funders, alumni volunteers, university coordinators or other partners
• Ensure data for engagement with employability and bursary activity is recorded on Salesforce
• Suggest new ideas and insights for growth of the post-18 offering, that feed into the broader strategy and long-term vision for alumni.

About the Team:
Fundraising and communications at WaterAid is ambitious, dynamic and rewarding. This post sits within the Digital Content and Experience team (DCX), which manages our online platforms and content, and delivers unique digital experiences designed to raise awareness, inspire brand love and stimulate action through a variety of channels. The team also supports WaterAid colleagues globally.

The Digital Content and Experience team is part of the Communications Department within the Communications and Fundraising Directorate. The team is at the forefront of sector-leading, award-winning campaigns and products, thanks to a multi-disciplinary outlook and a test-and-learn culture. 

About the Role:
As our creative and meticulous Digital Editor you will take day-to-day responsibility for content on WaterAid's UK audience focussed digital channels, creating high-quality, user-centred material which compels people to act, while communicating organisational priorities.

In this role, you will create, commission and publish first-class digital content in a variety of formats (text, image, video etc.) to support our communications, fundraising and advocacy objectives, across web, social and email.

You’ll also: 

• Act as digital lead for select projects, planning and developing web, social and email components, working across all levels to influence, advise and negotiate this content.
• Work closely with colleagues across Fundraising and Communications to ensure integration and consistency of messages with all campaign activity, and ensuring content meets the needs of identified audiences. 
• Demonstrate a meticulous attention to spelling, grammar and editorial style, adhering to guidelines and ensuring copy is suitable for its target audience.
• Analyse web, email and social traffic data to maximise the potential of all content.

About You:

• A track record in, and passion for, digital communications and copywriting.    
• A solid understanding of content design, SEO techniques, user experience and web accessibility.
• Proficiency in Google Analytics, analysing large amounts of data and making decisions that bring about positive change.
• Significant experience of working with content management systems and basic HTML. 
• Strategic understanding of the social media landscape, platform best practice and social media marketing.

Although not essential, we also prefer you to have:

• Excellent stakeholder and project management skills, diplomacy, written and verbal communication skills.  
• Experience in the third sector in a digital content role.

About the Role:

This new position will drive our income generation efforts through various channels and initiatives. You will develop and implement business development strategies to attract financial support from individuals, corporations, foundations, and potential donors. The role will proactively engage with donors, build relationships, and cultivate partnerships to create and maximise income generation to support our mission and programmes.

Who we are looking for:

Someone with substantial and demonstrable experience of working with corporates within FTSE 250 and the commercial sector. This includes proactively acquiring new partnerships and maximising existing relationships, including how to access the decision makers.

Have excellent presentation and negotiating skills, representing the charity in a range of settings and to a range of audiences.

Be a self-starter with strong sales and influencing skills, Able to work independently in particular in developing corporate fundraising products and tools.

Degree in Business, nonprofit management, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

Proven experience in income/revenue generation, fundraising, or new business sales, preferably within the nonprofit sector.

Strong knowledge of fundraising principles, techniques, and best practices.

Excellent communication, writing and interpersonal skills, displaying a commitment to excellence and careful attention to detail.

Target driven with an ability to think strategically and develop and implement compelling fundraising strategies.

Externally they will liaise with external tech organisations to support procurement of new platforms and they will conduct market research to assess the market, target audience and consumer demand for the various services that might be offered through the Digital Academy.

The successful candidate will join a fast-paced, growing and successful team. They will need to be an experienced professional within the field of educational technology, with a good grasp of learning design and virtual learning platforms, as well as experience of commissioning/procuring digital platforms and a demonstrable ability to undertake market research within both home and international markets. An understanding of working in the charity sector and/or within an education and training environment would be helpful. Experience of undertaking projects centered around children, young people and families, mental health or other health-related/science subjects would be welcomed.

The King's Trust International are seeking a Digital Content Specialist to lead with designing content for our WhatsApp based chatbot – Get Ready.

Get Ready is an interactive digital personal development programme that creates a safe and supportive space for young people to develop key life and employability skills. The programme is delivered directly to individuals via an interactive WhatsApp based chatbot, taking young people through a series of modules to build their employability knowledge, communication skills and confidence.

We are looking to create and adapt content for two separate programmes for use in two contexts; Trinidad and Tobago, and Nigeria. Both programmes will use the WhatsApp platform to enhance existing face to face learning.

Knowledge of writing content for digital delivery, specifically through Whatsapp is essential. The successful candidate will have knowledge and application of user experience and user centred design.
