At Unlock YOUR Potential, we will be offering a suite of transformative programmes and services designed to empower individuals from socio-economically disadvantaged backgrounds. Its an exciting time to launch our new charity with the new governments focus on getting people back to work or in training and development, there will be plenty of opportunities for us to make a huge impact but we need to set the foundations and get ourselves ready to launch. 

Finance Manager:

We are looking for a Finance Manager, who can join our new charity start-up and help us build a solid foundation and help to build a solid financial mangement and controls function at Unlock YOUR Potential and to set-up and manage all financial aspects.

As Finance Manager you will be responsible for the daily financial management and controls at Unlock YOUR Potential. You will be responsible for;

  1. Financial Planning and Budgeting: Developing and overseeing the charity's financial plans and budgets to ensure sustainability and alignment with its goals.

  2. Financial Reporting: Preparing and presenting financial reports to the board and stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability.

  3. Bookkeeping and Accounting: Managing day-to-day financial transactions, including processing invoices, payments, and expense claims.

  4. Compliance and Risk Management: Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and managing financial risks.

  5. Strategic Support: Assisting in strategic planning and operational management to support the charity's mission.

  6. Team Collaboration: Working closely with other team members and supporting colleagues in financial matters.

  7. Fundraising Support: Assisting with financial aspects of fundraising activities and grant applications.

  8. Training and Mentoring: Providing guidance and training to other staff or volunteers on financial practices and procedures.
