Main Responsibilities:

· To provide direct line management and leadership to a staff team in the locality, including performance management, reflective practice supervision and robust monitoring of service provision.

· To oversee and support the planning, delivery and coordination of Children’s and Family Centre’s Support Services. Involve stakeholders and all staff as far as it is possible in decision-making processes.

· Support the Operational Manager in all aspects of delivery, including the development of

new workstreams and transformational change of the provision and manage strategic relationships with key stakeholders.

Main Requirements (for details check the job description and person specification):

· To lead and support safe, reliable, high-quality family support service across the district and integrate with existing provisions to ensure that services are not duplicated and multiagency working is upheld. To ensure communication is established with other services to establish a culture of mutual trust and respect.

· Prioritise referrals, manage work allocations and ensure effective deployment of the workers to ensure service users receive a timely and effective service.

· Ensure all appropriate staff development and core training requirements are fulfilled in the team and contribute to wider training plans for the locality. Foster a culture of continuous development including best practice sharing across teams and districts, involvement in Community of Practice etc. 

• Respond appropriately to any safeguarding concerns, demonstrating an understanding of, and always complying with Family Action’s and Gloucestershire procedures for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and vulnerable adults. To ensure compliance with relevant local and national legislation. Act as a safeguarding Lead for the locality.
• To have an overview of the support needs of all families across the locality and Gloucestershire as a whole, and knowledge of how these are being met in order to influence the direction of service planning.

The role

Breast Cancer Now have transformed our digital offering over the last couple of years to create a unified, supportive and inclusive experience for those who want to know more about breast cancer and access vital support services.

We’re looking for a digital product manager who will oversee all aspects of the product lifecycle - managing the backlog for new product developments and cycles of continuous improvement across our flagship products and services. You’ll have proven experience successfully managing digital products, ideally in a not-for-profit environment. You’ll be a clear, compelling communicator, capable of building strong stakeholder relationships and collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

With a deep understanding of user-centred design principles, you’ll draw on user insight and organisational strategy to shape priorities and measures of success. The Fundraising & Marketing Manager will take the lead in developing and implementing our fundraising and marketing strategies, splitting your time about 60/40 between the two functions. As Fundraising & Marketing Manager you will be responsible for securing funding from a wide range of sources, stewarding relationships with our supporters, and managing communication with external stakeholders.

River Church Ipswich is an HTB Network church plant in the town centre of Ipswich, which launched in September 2021 and has already grown quickly into a thriving resource church, with a congregation of more than 200, and three Sunday services.

The Spear Centre Manager will work as part of the River Church staff team to oversee the delivery of Spear—an employability programme equipping and empowering unemployed 16-24 year-olds to overcome barriers to employment and their lives around by moving into sustainable work or further education.

Key Responsibilities

Website

• Responsibility for maintenance and development of Resurgo’s website, delivering engaging content with a focus on dynamic visuals and videos, tailored to our different website audiences.
• Optimise user journeys across all Resurgo’s digital channels.

Partnership liaison and relationship management

• Establish the primary local referral agencies and build and implement a strategy for developing relationships with them to ensure recruitment of young people onto the Spear programme is effective.
• Maintain and develop relationships with local partners to form a strong referral network.

Oversight of Spear Programme Spear

Foundation is a 4-week initial phase, consisting of 2 group sessions and a 1:1 with each trainee per week, in which we coach young people around skills and mindsets to support them in returning to work or education, and equip them with the skills to stay there.

• As a confident communicator, you will lead group sessions of around 10 young people each, using coaching skills to transform attitudes to their own ability and the workplace, and to raise their awareness and maximise potential in stepping into the world of work.
• Prepare and coach group and 1-1 sessions with the Spear Assistant Coach.
• Ensure the programme is delivered in line with agreed targets, and report KPIs on recruitment, retention and completion of Spear Trainees to Resurgo and the Spear Trust, as well as their ongoing progress and sustainment of work or education

Line management and training

• Manage the Assistant Coach, using a coaching approach to invest in their growth and development.
• Be line managed by River Church staff, locally, and by Resurgo, nationally, to support with the set-up and ongoing operations of the centre and report back on KPI.

Supporting River Church’s mission and ministry

• You will be required to establish strong relationships with key people at the church to ensure the engagement and backing of church members, and help the Assistant coaches to establish a strong presence at the church to build a network of supporters for the Spear programme.
• Ensuring the Spear programme is a key missional feature of the work of the church
• Work with the Head of Operations and Fundraising Assistant to prepare successful grant funding applications for Spear Ipswich, and provide timely grant reporting.
• Attend and participate in Staff Meeting, Tuesday morning Prayer Meeting, and Sunday Services (serving on a team at one or more Sunday service) • Regularly pray for Spear, River Church, and in particular our Social Transformation work.
• Attending other River Church events and services, occasionally speaking and/or contributing as required • Ad hoc tasks and other project work.

• Liaise with relevant staff locally on site issues and work to resolve them as soon as possible, ensuring the office and training room are safe and tidy working spaces in line with health and safety policies.

Background

The post is a new role that will support the Head of Fundraising in raising income for the charity. You will assist in developing our fundraising strategy to ensure the charity can deliver its ambitious plans. The successful candidate will work closely with colleagues to help deliver the charity’s fundraising and engagement plans. You will oversee the development and marketing of our corporate income stream, the Specialist Skills Directory, and foster relationships with corporate supporters when required. About the Role:

As Area Manager you will oversee delivery of high-quality services.
Facilitate consultation across the teams and other key stakeholders to develop new and build on existing good practice, implement and support the strategic direction of the area business plan.

You will also represent the charity in an appropriate and professional manner to commissioners, stakeholders, external bodies and the media, whilst acting as a voice for victims to the wider community.
Key responsibilities of the role are to ensure the successful delivery of a high quality, efficient and responsive services to victims, the identification of income growth and partnership opportunities and building relationships with relevant commissioning bodies and other stakeholders. A focus on team development, and the monitoring of performance and quality are key within the role.

Please note that travel across a large area is an essential part of this role and you may be asked to work unsociable hours on occasion. You must be able to attend in person meetings with commissioners and partners across North Yorkshire, South Yorkshire & Humberside, as well as attending offices to meet returning staff.

The Partnerships Manager will lead GISF’s income generation efforts to support its mission and implementation of initiatives within the 2025-2030 Strategy. Key Responsibilities

Strategic Income Generation & Fundraising

• Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy aligned with GISF’s 2025-2030 strategy. 
• Identify and secure funding from government donors and other sources to build a robust opportunity pipeline that supports GISF’s initiatives. 
• Work closely with the Finance team to set income targets, and with the Communications team to create impactful campaigns for diverse supporter engagement.

Partnership Development

• Establish and maintain relationships with existing and potential government donors (including from the Global South), philanthropies and trusts.
•  Identify organisations for potential partnerships or consortia to win and deliver grants 
• Develop a framework for corporate partners to engage with GISF and our members, that brings in secondary revenue and creates opportunities for positive interactions between members and corporate partners with services relevant to NGO SRM. 

Proposal Development & Co-creation

• Identify relevant donor grant/contract opportunities, draft compelling proposals, and ensure timely submission of all related documentation. 
• Collaborate with donors, GISF staff and GISF member organisations to co-create and promote solutions that address specific needs and align with GISF’s mission. 
• Develop and maintain a strong understanding of NGO SRM principles and issues 

Grant Management

• Supervise the Grants Officer, ensuring effective handling of current GISF grants and contracts. 
• Ensure systems are in place to efficiently transition from winning new funding to programme implementation

Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration

• Represent GISF at networking events and conferences to increase visibility and establish strategic alliances.

Experience/Knowledge/Skills

• Contextual Knowledge: A deep understanding of the NGO sector and the global context in which NGOs operate.
•  NGO SRM Knowledge: An understanding of the security risk management (SRM) context within NGOs, with a willingness to deepen expertise in this area.

· Identify, develop and maintain effective partnerships with local communities, volunteers and key partners across the region to engage them in the prevention of young suicide.
