About the Role

Key responsibilities
Marketing

3. Supporting the Director of Investments and the Marketing Manager in delivering new business strategies by providing market analysis and data, publicity plans, key messages, event planning, set up and coordination as necessary.
4. Supporting the Marketing Manager with marketing contacts in partner, investee and other stakeholder organisations, maintaining contacts and ensuring that SIB funds and programmes are represented across sector events and in peer publications.
5. Liaise with the Business Development Manager to contribute effectively to new tenders, including supplying accurate marketing and communications data and deliverable activities.
Communications
6. Working with the CEO, Deputy CEO and Marketing Manager to implement the Marketing Strategy, including developing and managing campaigns, messages and stakeholder relations.

The role:
This person will have responsibility for the management, maintenance and improvement of the 185 acres of sports, nature areas, heritage parkland and gardens for the benefit of the local community and beyond. This will involve extensive horticultural management responsibilities in addition to a broad range of support, logistical and administrative activities. This is a very broad role with a wide array of systems management and day to day park management responsibilities. This person will also be a true ambassador for the Park, both with members of the public and those who come into contact with the Park professionally.

The successful candidate will have extensive Park Management experience in a similar sized public park or community green space. They will have experience of managing service contracts, managing in-house teams, developing volunteer and outreach programs and ideally, of successfully applying for Grant funding in similar spaces and delivering on these agreements. A warm and approachable person, the ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for Park management and involving the public in regular use and patronage of these special green spaces. This person will also be numerate and well-organised with good logistical, administrative and back office management experience.

We are looking for a new member to join our legacy and in-memory team, within its Individual Giving department. This role will help to manage and test legacy marketing campaigns with the aim to grow the size of the charity’s legacy Enquirer and Considerer base using various channels such as social media, direct mail and telemarketing. This role will also work on recruiting enquiries about the charity’s Pet Promise scheme and recruit new in-memory and tribute fund supporters. You will;
- Provide expertise and collaborate with the Senior Donor Development Manager – Engagement and Legacy to develop legacy marketing acquisition and mid-value programme strategies.
- Plan and project manage the annual operational plans, managing direct marketing campaigns from end to end using a mix of offline and online channels, which includes telemarketing, direct mail and social media/PPC to grow the existing legacy pipeline.
- Manage the services of multiple suppliers for the planning, creative, media, print and distribution, producing comprehensive written briefs with verbal discussions to ensure the output meets requirements.
- Build relationships and work closely with internal colleagues across the organisation to leverage ‘piggy-backing opportunities’ as well as helping to champion legacy giving across the charity
- Work with the Database Team to deliver end of campaign results analysis, ensuring reporting data is correct and highlight key observations and recommendations for future activity or further insight requirements.
- Manage a six-figure expenditure budget, allocating budget to channels and products
You will have;
- Experience of planning and managing legacy acquisition campaigns to recruit individual supporters ideally using telemarketing, direct mail and social media/PPC.
- Experience of effective management of multiple key suppliers, ensuring service is to agreed standards
- Experience of effective expenditure budget management

The starting salary for this position is £34,730 - £42,446 per annum depending on experience. In addition to this you will receive;

The Rigby Foundation is the charity of the Rigby Family and their wholly owned family business, the Rigby Group PLC. In 2023, the Trustees appointed an Executive Director, the Foundation’s first member of staff, to support them in setting their future strategy.

Job Summary:
The position of Event Manager is a central role within the Foundation, not only driving the Foundation forward in both fundraising and awareness but keeping the cogs turning in all aspects from administrative detail to event organisation.
This role is unique, from the breadth of responsibilities to the ownership it allows for an individual.
Responsibilities and Duties:

Leading development, delivery and execution of the LGF events programme, consisting of already established major donor events and a focus on improving the range of events for a wide general audience that maximises fundraising and drives supporter engagement.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with event co-founders, committee members, stakeholders and high net worth individuals to maximise income and secure continued committed support.

To closely work with the relevant events production agency to ensure the smooth running of events e.g. ensuring dietaries are collected, managing event budget inline with sponsorship.
