Job overview

The Digital and Content Manager is responsible for the development and execution of BeyondAutism’s digital strategy, ensuring all online content and campaigns support the organisation’s strategic goals. The role owns and manages all digital platforms, including the website, email marketing, paid advertising, and social media (Bluesky, Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook), ensuring content is engaging, optimised, and aligned with BeyondAutism’s brand identity. This role works closely with the Outreach and Revenue Marketing Manager (ORMM) to ensure digital content and campaigns are effectively aligned with lead generation, outreach, and revenue-driving activities. Together, they will develop, execute, and optimise digital strategies that drive MQL to SQL conversion, audience engagement, and brand awareness.

About the role

Channel ownership and development

• Develop and execute a digital and content strategy that aligns with BeyondAutism’s overall marketing objectives.
• Actively manage and grow the website, social channels (Bluesky, Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook), and email database, ensuring all content and contact lists are up to date.
• Own the technical maintenance and development of BeyondAutism websites (WordPress), working with external developers when required.
• Ensure all digital activity is integrated and aligned, supporting schools, outreach, fundraising, and admissions.
• Stay up to date with platform algorithms, trends, and best practices to maximise engagement on both paid and organic content.

Website and SEO management

• Manage the BeyondAutism websites, ensuring they remain compliant, up to date, user-friendly, and optimised for conversions.
• Apply SEO best practices (both technical and onsite SEO) to improve website visibility and search rankings.
• Develop and update landing pages to support marketing campaigns and lead generation.
• Liaise with external agencies as needed to enhance website functionality.

Social media and digital engagement

• Develop and implement a content plan for Bluesky, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook.
• Ensure consistency in tone of voice, brand messaging, and content quality across all digital platforms.
• Actively monitor, engage with, and grow BeyondAutism’s online community. Track and analyse engagement metrics to refine social media strategy.

Email marketing and CRM integration

• Plan, create, and send email marketing campaigns via Mailchimp and Raiser’s Edge.
• Develop segmented audience lists to deliver personalised, high-impact content.
• Set up automated email sequences to nurture leads and encourage engagement.
• Track and optimise email performance (open rates, CTR, conversion rates).
• Ensure email and digital activities integrate with Raiser’s Edge for CRM tracking and reporting.

Paid advertising and Google Ad Grants

• Manage Google Ad Grants, ensuring compliance and maximisation of the allocated budget.
• Set up, manage, and optimise PPC campaigns across Google Ads and social media platforms.
• Continuously track performance and adjust campaigns to improve cost-per-click (CPC) and ROI.

Reporting and analytics

• Establish KPIs for each digital channel in agreement with the Head of Marketing & Communications.
• Monitor website, email, social media, and PPC analytics, converting findings into actionable insights.
• Provide monthly performance reports, assessing the return on investment (ROI) for campaigns.

Marketing and outreach campaigns

• In consultation with ORMM, lead on digital marketing campaigns to drive leads, registrations, and awareness.
• Implement digital aspects of the lead generation strategy, including Lunch & Learn webinars.
• Consider the customer journey and experience in all digital marketing activity.
• Support fundraising and outreach teams in promoting campaigns through digital channels.
• Ensure that all digital marketing campaigns align with BeyondAutism’s wider strategic objectives.

Team and stakeholder collaboration

• Work across the organisation to ensure all digital and content needs are met and incorporated into the overall strategy.
• Act as a subject matter expert for digital marketing tools and software, upskilling the wider team.
• Work closely with external agencies, designers, and developers as needed.
• Line manage the Marketing & Communications Officer, ensuring alignment with digital priorities.

Their mission is to deliver intensive sports coaching and mentoring to help develop young people from disadvantaged communities.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Management Accountant will play a key role in supporting the Finance Team by preparing monthly management accounts with variance analysis, budget holder reports, and statutory accounts. They will also contribute to finance projects, including the development of new budget holder reporting and process improvements.

The key duties of the Management Accountant will be as follows:

• Complete the preparation of accurate and timely monthly management accounts.

• Monitor actual spending vs budget by providing a variance analysis for monthly budget holder reports.

The successful candidate will have:

• A recognised professional qualification or be part qualified with relevant experience.

The post-holder will have the opportunity to develop Groundswell’s next fundraising strategy, working closely with the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), and particularly Finance & Fundraising Director who can bring a wealth of knowledge and insight from recent external and internal reviews of Groundswell’s fundraising portfolio. MAIN DUTIES

1.Being first point of contact for new business client enquiries, responding to messages from new clients and scheduling sales consultations with prospective clients. This includes acting on new referrals for paid service consultations within 24 hours, gaining the client's trust, identifying and advising on the best service to meet the client’s needs from initial assessment of their situation, and promoting confidence in Beacon and our ability to meet the client’s needs.

2.Liaising with relevant health trusts, care providers and other organisations to support the facilitation of assessments, as part of a new business request.

3.       Providing operational support to Business Development Manager, including taking telephone enquiries from clients and arranging sales consultations. Supporting the Business Development Manager with sales consultations during holidays and at peak periods.

4.Drafting and sending detailed estimates to prospective clients following initial consultations and following up to close the sale.

5.Establishing a rapport with prospective clients, utilising Beacon’s reputation within the industry to generate business and maintaining excellent communication throughout the sales journey.

6.Managing the case allocation process including responsibility for ensuring cases are allocated in a timely way according to case deadlines.

7.Generating and sending out contracts and associated paperwork, and processing completed contracts for clients engaging in a paid service. Liaising with caseworkers for a smooth handover of the new case, ensuring that expectations are met and key deadlines understood by the caseworker.

8.Maintaining good communication with colleagues in the Information and Advice team to facilitate the smooth transfer of prospective clients from an advice call to a paid service consultation.

9.To keep relevant and sufficiently detailed case records following each client contact, ensuring that all client information is kept up to date in line with Beacon’s systems and procedures, including data protection policies. 

10.Keeping sales data software up to date and producing monthly sales reports for Managing Director.

11.Responsible for the effective operation of client administrative procedures including operating and maintaining database and filing systems.

12.Arranging for the safe and secure transportation of sensitive client files and medical records for caseworkers and clients.

13.Attending line management, supervision and team meetings as appropriate.

14.Provide organisational, administrative and secretarial support to the sales and casework teams as required.

Background Information

NHS Continuing Healthcare (CHC) is the name given to a package of care that some people need to receive due to disability, accident or illness. People who are eligible for CHC have the full cost of their care and residential accommodation funded by the NHS. This relieves families of sometimes astronomical care bills.

St Michael’s is a cosmopolitan, multi-generational family of believers seeking to serve the Lord Jesus in the heart of London. We are an established evangelical church that cherishes orthodox biblical teaching alongside an openness to the work of the Spirit. As we enter a new phase in the life of the church, communications and worship are two areas that play a crucial role in informing and engaging the church family and reaching out to and serving newcomers and enquirers. We are open to filling these positions either with one person who can excel in both roles full-time, or two part-time professionals, each dedicated to one of these areas.
