This is a fundamental role within our North regional team, internally the role is known as Local Community Officer. The future of CCT’s outstanding collection of historic churches depends on communities supporting their local CCT church with funds, events, inspiring interpretation, visitor services and preventive conservation. The Local Community Officer will engage and support communities and volunteers to care for 23 historic churches across Greater Manchester, Lancashire, Merseyside, W. Yorkshire, N. Yorkshire (part), ensuring each site achieves agreed standards.

Surgical intervention could address at least 30% of the global burden of disease, and yet the poorest 33% of people receive just 3.5% of all surgery. Post-operative mortality rates 1,000 times higher than in some high-income countries can be found in parts of the world where surgery and anaesthesia have been neglected, and in some countries as many as 90% of anaesthetic departments do not have the equipment to provide a safe anaesthetic for a child.

Purpose of Role
In your role of Communications Officer, you will contribute to the delivery of WFSA’s objectives by helping to implement advocacy and communications strategies.
You will report to the Head of Advocacy & Communications and liaise regularly with the rest of the small staff team in the Secretariat. The Secretariat works with and supports a much larger team of expert volunteers around the world. Relationships with Member Societies and our Board and Council will also be important, and an ability to interact across a range of stakeholders is essential.
You will be responsible for supporting the delivery of WFSA’s communications, advocacy and digital learning strategy. You will strengthen WFSA by:
- Supporting the Head of Advocacy & Communications in the delivery of all aspects of our communications, advocacy and digital learning strategy.

- Developing ideas and creating visual and written content for our website, social platforms, and other outlets.
- Helping to manage and expand our social media presence.

Specific responsibilities
An applicant appointed to the role will be expected to:
- Be responsible for curating CSE's social media content calendar. With support from digital comms manager, produce engaging content and ensure CSE’s social channels reflect our strategic goals.
- Create engaging multimedia digital content for websites, social media and our e-newsletter including written copy (blogs, news stories, content pages), video, and graphics using Canva and Adobe Creative Cloud.
- Lead on producing video content to promote CSE’s work, including planning, filming, and editing content using Premier Pro.
- Maintain CSE’s video library, including our internal folders, processes, and YouTube channel.
- Support the Senior Communications and Brand Manager to develop CSE’s suite of branded content. This includes creating branded templates for colleagues to use as well as designing digital and print materials for projects.
- With support from the wider comms team, ensure our online presence including website, social media, email marketing and digital advertising reflects strategic goals.
- Support the day-to-day management of CSE’s website, including uploading and editing content.
- Support the digital communications manager with digital channel optimisation including PPC, SEO, social media (paid and organic) as well as re-designing pages to enhance user experience (UX).
- Commission external videographers and photographers when appropriate, dictated by project and business needs.
- Responsible for producing CSE’s monthly e-news with support from the comms team to ensure CSE’s key work is promoted to external stakeholders.
- Regularly track digital metrics and analyse performance data to optimise messaging and strategies and responsibility for monthly reporting.

Essential attributes for this role include:
- Minimum Maths and English GCSE or equivalent.
- 3- 5 years’ experience in communications, marketing, PR, or related field.

Role Overview
The Senior Fundraising Officer will manage and deliver all fundraising activities for the Suzy Lamplugh Trust, securing general and restricted funds from a range of sources including small and medium charitable Trusts and Foundations, government departments, corporate partners, organisations with CSR programs and potentially individuals, and support the delivery of the integrated fundraising strategy for the Trust, ensuring continued growth over the next three years and beyond.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research prospective funders, doors and sponsors and work closely with senior management, and colleagues in the Operations, Policy & Campaigning, and Finance teams to develop effective cases for support.
- Research and approach prospective funders that are either completely or partially aligned with the work of the Trust and determine if applications can be made.
- Manage the process of raising unrestricted funds through letters or online applicaitions to smaller Trusts or CSR funds, ensuring outcomes and feedback received is captured on the CRM and the annual fundraising plan.
- Write funding bids, proposals and applications forms, effectively communicating the work and impact of the Trust with existing and potential new funders.
- Oversee grant stewardship to best manage existing relationships and pave the way for repeat or new funding.
- Develop and grow the supporter base, working closely with the Trust senior management team to increase support from other organisations at grass-roots level.
- Collaborate with internal colleagues and partner agencies to ensure correct data is captured on funded activities and captured on the CRM.
- Manage funder reports by working with report-owners across different teams to maintain timely, accurate and detailed report submissions, in accordance with terms of grants held.
- Manage, maintain and present the rollover fundraising plan at bi-weekly team meetings, ensuring all approaches and applications are captured on this plan, as well as the CRM.

Job Purpose
The Ruth Strauss Foundation is looking to grow its fundraising team and this role will play a pivotal part in developing Individual Giving for the organisation. This role will lead the Individual Giving and Legacy programme, responsible for building the database of regular givers, introducing new campaigns and products to acquire new donors and increase retention rates and lifetime donor value.
This role will be responsible for developing a supporter centric marketing strategy generating a supporter journey which drives excellent supporter experience, creating a RSF family of donors. This role will develop products for in memory fundraising and build our legacy programme from scratch, developing a legacy fundraising strategy and subsequent comms plan and journey.

- Introduce a legacy marketing strategy to grow legacy fundraising at RSF, introducing KPIs to monitor impact across pledgers and intenders
- Establish business rules for recording Individual giving data on Salesforce to ensure that future analysis of the programme is robust and reliable
- Introduce new fundraising campaigns to reach new audiences and re-engage with existing donors
- Project management and delivery of existing Individual giving campaigns
- Introduce new individual giving campaigns to the portfolio, identifying key opportunities in the year using audience understanding, aligning with RSF’s strategy
- Work closely with gift in wills organisations to grow RSF’s legacy fundraising, reaching new audiences, connecting with solicitors across the UK
- Work with the Head of Finance to develop a legacy administration process
- Budget management and post activity delivery metric analysis, ensuring a robust contingency planning process is in place
- Development of fundraising collateral in conjunction with campaigns/products
- Coordinate the marketing requirements for each activity, producing pre and post communications/marketing collateral – including working with external production companies where required
- Set up product/campaign processes including fulfilment and supporter stewardship
- Ensure all individual giving and legacy activities are compliant with fundraising code of conduct, GDPR and other IG processes/policies
- Conduct regular sector wide and competitor research to stay ahead of trends and maximiseopportunities for RSF

Expertise required
- Exceptional experience of managing an individual giving programme, managing a range of campaigns/products of varying size and scale including acquisition activity, warm appeals and reactivation
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills including budget management, project management and prioritisation.
- Excellent data analytical skills, able to set up processes to capture data and analyse data to ensure strategic decisions are based on audience insight and analysis
- Experience of developing plans and budgets, and reporting against financial targets and key performance indicators
- Experience working with CRM systems and project planning tools
- Excellent communication skills – able to utilise data analysis to produce compelling fundraising communications, understanding supporter motivations, engaging audiences to generate fundraising growth.

About the Role
The Head of Fundraising will be a key member of our Senior Management Team (SMT) and take ownership of our Fundraising Strategy to support the diversification of our income. This role is vital to our future growth and sustainability, and an opportunity to lead an exciting part of the charity which makes a real difference to the students we support.
Strategy and Leadership
- Lead the delivery of our fundraising strategy in line with our current organisational strategy which runs from 2024-2029.
- Lead on the management of key information about Get Further’s fundraising activity and ensure it is stored appropriately, well organised and with high attention to detail. This will include supporting the transition of the fundraising function onto Salesforce.
- Prepare fundraising update reports for the Finance and Risk Committee and the Board of Trustees as required.
- Contribute to and attend internal/external events on behalf of Get Further as required.
Fundraising and Stakeholder Engagement
- Lead the core fundraising activities, including line managing our Fundraising Officer. This includes developing an in-depth understanding of existing and potential supporters to provide tailored relationship management, including engagement opportunities, to meet significant targets over multiple years.
- Support the Fundraising Officer to identify new prospects, in particular, charitable trusts and foundations that have the potential to support Get Further for the first time. You will effectively qualify and engage with prospects to build a pipeline for the coming years, matching prospects with appropriate asks.
- Oversee and write compelling applications for funding that are tailored to each recipient and make a convincing case for how their support with help more young people achieve their gateway qualifications.
- Lead on ensuring all supporters and donors receive updates and reports within the required timeframes and that these are crafted with impact data and case studies to ensure maximum stakeholder engagement.
Team Management and Collaboration
- Provide effective line management of our Fundraising Officer to support their personal development and successful delivery of their role.

ROLE PURPOSE
The Fundraising Officer will be a vital member of the Mass Fundraising team, responsible for supporting all activity across Community and Events. They will be instrumental in supporting the Community and Events team to achieve our income targets and grow Community & Events from £400,000 to £550,000 over the next five years and by 29/30.
This role will focus on providing exceptional stewardship, delivering a calendar of community and events fundraising, and ensuring accurate data management to enhance donor engagement. Working with the Community and Events Manager you will be responsible for marketing our fundraising challenge events to ensure they provide a positive ROI. You will be a key point of contact for 200+ fundraisers who take part in fundraising events each year, as well as develop our community income stream proactively securing 10+ partnerships with local businesses/schools.
The ideal candidate will cultivate long-lasting relationships with individual supporters, promote fundraising opportunities, and help deliver impactful events, all while maintaining the highest standards of stewardship.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Events Fundraising
- Assist in the planning and execution of a diverse range of fundraising events, including challenge events and community initiatives.
- Support the management of event logistics, including participant communication, volunteer coordination, and on-the-day activities.
- Work with the Community and Events Manager to ensure a minimum 3:1 Return On Investment for challenge event fundraisers.

Community Fundraising

JOB OVERVIEW
Working with the Events & Community Fundraising Coordinator, the Community Fundraising Officer will be responsible for planning and delivering a varied programme of community fundraising activities. This currently includes a recipe club, fundraising campaigns, online raffle and auctions, and attendance at events, alongside supporting individuals, organisations and groups who are organising fundraising events on behalf of the Trust.
While prior third sector experience is required, it's just as important that the successful candidate has excellent communication skills and strong organisational and administrative abilities. Responsibilities
- Design and deliver polished supporter journeys for all community fundraisers, ensuring maximum fundraising returns.
- Answer general enquiries and distribute community fundraising packs to supporters who are holding local events or participating in our fundraising campaigns.
- Recruit and manage volunteers, encouraging them to promote the Trust within their local community through event attendance and fundraising initiatives.
- Organise volunteer attendance at the Trust’s own challenge events, including Trailwalker. Handle requests from supporters for Trust representative to attend events, talks or cheque presentations.

- Work with the Communications team to ensure effective promotion of community fundraising initiatives across all relevant mediums.
- Work with the Communications team to showcase any new initiatives, developing attractive and innovative fundraising assets and ensuring they are readily available for our supporters. Set up smooth, accessible sign-up processes, capturing contact preferences and relevant data that will assist with evaluation and analysis.

The Supporter-led Fundraising (SLF) team at Alzheimer’s Research UK (ARUK) is responsible for securing income from individuals, groups and corporates, as well as driving registrations and income through third party and mass participation events; managing these relationships to maximise income.
As the Central Fundraising Officer, you will be part of our friendly and passionate Central Fundraising Team. You will lead on supporter stewardship and tiering to ensure our supporters are well supported by the Central Fundraising Team throughout their fundraising journey. Your role will include taking the lead on data processes such as the BACs process, drafting different engaging stewardship content, keep our fundraising materials up to date and lead on training sessions within the Central Fundraising Team and with other teams for sharing best practice.
You will work closely with our network of 12 home-based Regional Fundraising Officers (RFOs), as well as Sporting Team and Corporate Teams. You will be the first point of contact for the majority of our DIY supporters and will offer first-class stewardship to ensure our fundraisers feel well-supported before, during and after their fundraising plans.
You will also work very closely with the Data, Supporter Care team, Finance and other key stakeholders within ARUK to ensure SLF processes and procedures are fit for purpose and completed in a timely manner and that our supporters are delighted with the management and stewardship they receive across the teams.
Main duties and responsibilities of the role:
· Be a helpful and informed first point of contact for many supporters getting in touch with the Supporter Led Fundraising (SLF) team for the first time.
· Build first-class and long-term relationships through telephone calls and emails with our supporters to ensure they have the best fundraising experience at Alzheimer’s Research UK.
· Provide central stewardship support to a remote-based team of Regional Fundraising Officers (RFOs) to ensure effective delivery of the SLF strategy and budget.

· Lead on and be responsible for specific fundraising processes e.g. responsible for coding and reconciling all SLF BACs payments and coding Paypal donations. Reviewing, updating and training others on these processes when necessary.
· Ensure all communications are in line with GDPR policies.
· Become the organised Central coordinator for SLF-wide activities and procedures e.g contactless machines.
Spotting Potential
· As the central point of contact for the SLF team, you will spot opportunities to build networks among our fundraising community and flag these to the relevant members of the team.
