As Regional Support Officer you will provide full administrative services to a team that is geographically dispersed across the region with a regional office based in Taunton. Summary of Role:
The Office Assistant will deliver efficient and proactive reception, administrative, and clerical support to various aspects of Muslim Aid's operations. This includes handling HQ property-related matters, security functions, maintenance contracts, insurance, repairs, refurbishments, office equipment, inventory management, rent and utility payments, office supplies, and ensuring a clean and organised workspace.
The role also involves proactively identifying, documenting, and resolving issues and risks impacting the organisation and its staff, with a strong emphasis on Health & Safety and cost efficiency. Also, the Office Assistant will support additional requirements of MA HQ during Trustee meetings and other meetings and conferences.
This is a fixed term, part-time position, requiring three days a week.
About the Role:

The Role

Grief Encounter is a leading charity dedicated to providing transformative bereavement support for children, young people, and their families. With a compassionate approach and evidence-based programmes, we empower those navigating the complexities of grief, with the mission to ensure that no child grieves alone.
In this role you will provide administrative and organisational support for the CEO and associated internal stakeholders, including the Board, Committees and the Senior Leadership Team.
You will be pivotal in overseeing the provision of administrative support within the charity as a whole and act as the Board Secretary. Within this role you will organise Board meetings and all associated papers for meetings, including agendas and minutes.
The successful candidate will possess experience of providing administrative support to senior leaders, alongside a track record in using IT and financial systems. Experience of managing internal relationships, competing priorities and confidential and sensitive information is also essential.

The role is full time however Grief Encounter offer flexible start times. The Role

The Development and Events Co-ordinator plays a vital role in supporting AAM’s fundraising activity. The role holder will take responsibility for the management of our Friends membership scheme. In addition, working in collaboration with the Head of Development, the role holder will oversee a programme of stewardship and cultivation events for all our members, donors and prospects, including drinks receptions at concerts and special events in a variety of different venues.
The Development and Events Co-ordinator will take responsibility for the effective use of AAM’s donor database (currently Infoodle), overseeing the input of financial information, managing e-mail and post mailings and providing a range of reports.
The Development and Events Co-ordinator will support the Head of Development in researching Trust and Foundation and individual prospects and donors. The role-holder will also provide administrative support for our Development activities including generating acknowledgement letters and taking minutes at Development Board and working group meetings.
