Haven House Children’s Hospice supports hundreds of families, looking after children and young people who have life-limiting or life-threatening conditions. Our mission is to provide the highest quality palliative and holistic care services to children and their families in our local communities.
With funding challenges throughout the hospice sector, Finance plays a crucial role in supporting the charity and overseeing its financial management. As a key part of that work, we are now looking for a Finance Manager to oversee the operational activities of the Finance function.

PURPOSE OF THE POST/RESPONSIBILITIES
Caudwell Children is a national charity which works to change the lives of disabled and autistic children; change society’s understanding and acceptance of disability; and change public perceptions of the important role that charity plays in society.
Based from the award-winning Caudwell International Children’s Centre in Staffordshire, we seek an experienced relationship manager with the ability to identify opportunities and develop relationships to raise funds which support the charity’s expanding service delivery.
Responsible for the ownership and development of supporter relationships, this role will play a pivotal part in helping to grow the charity’s fundraising income and helping to change the lives of autistic and disabled children across the UK and beyond.
The successful candidate will join a growing team of enthusiastic fundraising professionals aimed at improving the donor experience and growing the charity’s repeat and sustainable income.
The role will be part of the Individual Giving fundraising strand which will be responsible for income lines including, but not limited to:
- Major Gifts
- Regular Gifts
- Wills & Legacy
- Raffles & Lottery
Success will be supported and monitored by the Director of Public Fundraising against KPI’s including lead generation, conversion rates and income growth.
Relationship development will be documented and reported using the charity’s dedicated CRM system (currently Raiser’s Edge).
PERSON SPECIFICATION
- Demonstrable experience in fundraising/sales/relationship management
- Demonstrable understanding of the charity sector and professional fundraising
- Enthusiastic advocate of relationship management and conversion
- Experience in contributing to a successful sales/fundraising team
- Experience and skill in new business development
- Willingness and ability to undertake basic administrative activities themselves (not expecting of others what you would not do yourself).
- Computer literate, with strong competence in using the mainstream computing packages and products

Role: Digital Marketing Manager

You’ll be working across our audience spectrum including; our 12,500+ parent teacher association (PTA) membership base, those in a parenting role, and school leaders. You’ll work across a range of projects from building out our always on digital strategies, cross-channel community building and helping us reach for the stars on major campaigns and projects.
Main purpose and scope of role
To support and work in collaboration with the Head of Marketing to:
- Develop our digital marketing strategies and annual plans for all audiences across website, email and social
- Manage and develop our communities across email and social channels including content creation and community building/management
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver engaging digital campaigns
- Manage and develop a Marketing & Communications Executive
Duties and key responsibilities
Strategy development and implementation:
- Develop and implement digital marketing strategies for website, email and social, that align with the charity’s goals
- Ensure effective online presence, drive website traffic, and grow our audience with PTA membership acquisition and email data
- Utilise a range of techniques including paid search, SEO, and PPC
- Conduct market research and analyse trends to identify new opportunities
- Set measurable goals that demonstrate improvement in marketing efforts
Social media management:
- Manage and develop our social communities including Facebook pages and groups, Instagram, X, LinkedIn and YouTube
- Launch and manage new channels, where relevant, such as TikTok, Threads etc.
- Deliver an audience-led approach ensuring that community, connection and engagement is at the heart of our social activity
- Oversee the creation and distribution of relevant, original and high-quality content
- Conduct high-performing organic and paid for campaigns for both always-on and campaign activities
- Identify and manage appropriate content creators for key campaigns and activities
Email marketing:
- Create and manage email marketing campaigns, including newsletters, soluses, and transactional emails.
- Design and implement email marketing campaigns that are compelling and on-brand.
- Analyse email marketing metrics (open rates, click-through rates, conversions) and optimise campaigns based on performance
- Ensure email marketing strategies comply with current email marketing best practices and regulations
Collaboration:
- Collaborate with our content marketing team to develop relevant, quality digital content across a range of formats for our audiences
- Work with our Content Marketing Manager to promote key content as well as helping to inform their cross-channel content strategy
- Support the PTA Membership team with suitable digital acquisition campaigns that will contribute to their new member acquisition goals
- Work with the wider Marketing and Fundraising teams to deliver fundraising campaigns with corporate partners
- Work with others across the organisation as well as independently to understand our key audiences so that the work delivered is audience-focussed
Analytics and reporting:
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for always on and campaign activities and monitor these regularly
- Compile monthly and specific campaign reports to showcase marketing performance
- Analyse reports and key metrics and optimise strategies and activities as needed
Project management:
- Lead on the delivery of digital campaigns
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise effectively
Continuous learning:
- Monitor effectiveness of our digital activity to ensure that we optimise our plans and activity in the future
- Stay informed of the latest trends, technologies and best practises so that Parentkind’s work is forward-thinking and impactful
General Responsibilities

Job summary
This role will predominantly support the Service Delivery Managers and Support Officer across the UK in the effective planning and delivery of services to meet the strategic objectives. The postholder will be required to work directly with young people and their families, delivering services in the North of England, alongside assisting the wider team in the administrative tasks involved in organising and setting up services and events.
You will be part of the Young People’s Services Team who provide a range of services and activities for young wheelchair users and their families.
The person
You will need to have good organisational skills with the ability to communicate and build rapport with a range of audiences. You will be liaising with our young people and families as well as venues, schools, content providers and other third-party organisations. With a good understanding of planning events and undertaking risk management, you will be responsible for all aspects of event bookings.

• Understanding and familiarity of good practice and law around child protection, disability discrimination and equal opportunities legislation, health and safety, confidentiality, and data protection.

The Role
As our Philanthropy Manager, reporting to the Head of Fundraising, you will identify and approach people who wish to invest in the advancement of worldwide research to find cures for cancer. Specifically, you will:

Develop and implement Yorkshire Cancer Research’s major donor fundraising strategy and plans.

Provide philanthropic individuals with the opportunity to fund research and services that will make a positive difference to people with cancer in Yorkshire, and beyond.

Closely listen to and understand individual’s interests and/or concerns and match their requirements to the charity’s research/services that are likely to be of greatest interest.

Develop a portfolio of potential major donors and create appropriate engagement opportunities* ensuring that these opportunities match the individual donor’s wants and needs.
(*These engagement opportunities may include events, communications, smaller dinners, and meetings with senior people at Yorkshire Cancer Research).

Provide a bespoke, professional customer experience to all contacts at all times.

Work with colleagues (e.g. in the marketing and the events teams) to identify existing charity activities that may help attract and engage major donors.

About You
To be considered for this role, you will need:

The World Watch List is Open Doors’ annual ranking of the 50 countries where Christians face the most extreme persecution. Then our World Watch Unit (WWU) team at Open Doors International (ODI) is looking forward to welcoming you to their team!
With the team, you will be responsible for the quality of the WWL, ensuring that the data generated is communicated in a form that will be most relevant to the various constituent parts of Open Doors and beyond.
Your main responsibility is to work together with local and regional experts, as well as with other organizations that produce information on religious persecution, to monitor and score persecution. You will contribute, for the countries in your portfolio, to the establishment and continuous update of country profiles. Your portfolio will consist of a group of Asian countries, and you will report to the WWL Manager.
Your key responsibilities
- To contribute to the development of the WWL as a world class instrument for monitoring persecution.
- To monitor and score persecution.
- To produce Full Country Dossiers and other persecution-related reports and country profiles for your portfolio.
- To strengthen the capacity of ODI’s internal network of researchers in research methodologies.

As Community Fundraising Co-ordinator for the Huntington’s Disease Association, you will help deliver our strategic plans and objectives by generating and growing income through community fundraising activities. CORE PURPOSE:
Under the management of the Director of Client Services to provide specialist, evidence-based trauma therapy to children and young people seeking help from ASSIST throughout Northamptonshire.Therapy will be provided in an age appropriate manner.
ASSIST is a member of the United Kingdom Psychological Trauma Society and the European Society for Traumatic Stress Studies.All ASSIST specialist therapists are expected to work according to evidence based practice models (currently C.B.T. and E.M.D.R.), and in accordance with ethical practice.
Key Tasks
1.To provide specialist evidence-based trauma therapy in an age appropriate manner, to include play and art therapy to children and young people across Northamptonshire seeking help from ASSIST.
2.To deliver robust assessment and formulation measures, ensuring effective and appropriate interventions are delivered.
3.To deliver client services directly, and to receive appropriate clinical supervision accordingly.
4.To attend multidisciplinary meetings and liaise with various professionals as required for the wellbeing of the clients.

A lot of people know NCT for our antenatal classes, and we want to continue to support as many parents and families as we can to access evidence-based information. But we are also much more than this. We are a charity that campaigns on the issues that matter to parents. We run breastfeeding and infant feeding support, provided by specialist counsellors. We run thousands of free community activities and events across the UK, led by our fantastic volunteers and peers. And we support women and families facing specific challenges, such as social isolation, feeding difficulties or poor mental health.
Our Hounslow Infant Feeding Support project is commissioned by Hackney Council and the Integrated Care Board, to offer infant feeding support across the region. The support is delivered by staff, NCT Breastfeeding Counsellors and volunteer peer supporters.
About the Role
You will be responsible for coordination and recruitment of volunteers to support at our services. Peers will all receive accredited training to provide support to other parents whether that’s sharing their breastfeeding and infant feeding knowledge, welcoming parents or providing social interaction to those they support. Our services within Hounslow include four NCT Baby Cafes, other Infant Feeding community peer support drop-ins and our home visiting service across Hounslow.
· Engage with underrepresented communities through outreach and networking with other local organisations, scoping of new groups within region.
· Attend community groups and working with volunteer peer supporters, supporting them to carry out their role, and providing coordination, direction and encouragement
· Following home visiting criteria to support parents unable to access group drop-ins

It is essential for this post that you undertake the training to become an NCT Breastfeeding Peer Supporter. This requires the candidate to have given breastmilk. The training can be undertaken within your working hours. The role is 21 hours per week, which will be covered across the working week between Monday to Friday. The working hours range between 9-3. The role will include occasional evening and weekends. This is a community-based role in Hounslow, with some home working.

The role
Our key priorities at FareShare UK are to grow the food volumes accessible to the charities and community groups we support across the UK. Food partners (manufacturers, retailers, wholesalers, importers, packers, catering providers, producers and others) are pivotal in helping us to meet these priorities, providing access to food and many other strategic resources. This crucial role will focus on working with our top food partners to maximise the mutual value in the relationship through strategic and structured account management. You will be the direct account lead for some of the biggest food accounts in the UK and you will lead part of the Food Partnership Team for managing and engaging new business relationships to drive and grow food and funding from top food partners.
As part of this role, you will lead the transition to a tiered and structured strategic account management approach of all top partners. Coordinating colleagues in the food team and other FareShare teams: FareShare Go, Marketing, Fundraising, Network Operations and Volunteering teams to ensure that top partners get an excellent service. You will help identify and overcome the barriers to food redistribution and increase the volumes of foods available to FareShare from food partners and their wider supply chains.

You will lead new business development for FareShare Go and work closely with the FareShare Go operations team to mutually agreed objectives. Yeldall Manor is a Christian recovery centre for men wanting to overcome their addiction problems. We have created this new part-time position to provide consistent and professional HR support to the organisation, bringing together various roles currently undertaken by a few different staff members.
The role will suit someone who can work under their own initiative (after training in our charity practices), experienced in overseeing the employee journey from recruitment and retention to departure. You will act as the first point of contact for HR-related queries, and ensure that the charity is compliant with all relevant legislation. This will involve dealing with all employment matters, building robust policies & procedures, and implementation across the organisation. You would also be responsible for preparing the staff rota and all related administration. As a small charity (c. 35 staff including part-time and casual workers), the role will require balancing practical and administrative tasks with management responsibilities. We anticipate that you'll be based in the office for at least two days out of the three days/24 hours worked per week. This is in a lovely rural setting near Twyford (Reading) and, being situated within the rehabilitation centre, you will have daily contact with those men whom you are ultimately helping.
