We are looking for a standout relationship manager to join our fantastic team of fundraisers who work tirelessly to raise funds for Young Lives vs Cancer. A great personality and team ethic are really important in this role as you will maximise income for Young Live vs Cancer by coaching our supporters to reach their goals, whilst seeking out new fundraising opportunities for your geographical area. Your team of supporters will range from volunteers and individuals, to groups and local corporates.

The North West region (made up of Lancashire, Cheshire, Merseyside & Greater Manchester) is filled with some of our most committed supporters and there is so much opportunity to grow our supporter base across the region. Our Social Workers and Manchester Home from Home support families from across the region and beyond, and building relationships with this team is a must.

Main purpose of the post: 

• Working as part of a supportive and skilled team, you will be required to share in leading and further develop the GYM youth work service across Coventry and the surrounding area.

• You will spend a large proportion of your time working directly with young people in schools, colleges, youth clubs and outside areas as needed

Key Responsibilities:

• In discussion with GYM management to further develop this service, including additional sporting and other opportunities, trips and excursions, including residential as the service develops.

• To support the established GYM youth clubs in different locations and develop new as needed.

• To take part in the GYM outreach service, including driving the youth bus as needed.

• To take part in the StepTogether service.

• To promote, lead and support involvement in the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme

• To visit and provide information to individuals, groups, schools, colleges, and other youth facilities, building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and delivering training when required. 

• To be committed to achieving service outcomes and to systematically gather dataregarding these outcomes as required

• To assist with administration duties, data collection, monitoring and evaluation and Professional Youth Mentor (Outreach) 

• To assist in fundraising initiatives.

• Any other duties as determined by GYM management from time to time. 

Due to the nature of the role, a full driving license is required. You will be required to travel across Coventry and beyond and may need to visit locations not easily accessible by public transport. You will also be required to drive and manage the youth bus as needed (non HGV)

The Primary Care Network (PCN) Cancer Care Coordination Service provides an improved experience for patients beyond their interactions with clinical services. Working within a network of GP surgeries, we support both patients and clinicians, contributing to the overall holistic approach to supporting those living with cancer. This integrates the ‘beyond medicine’ approaches offered by the Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS) into the cancer pathway. The service undertakes holistic needs assessments and provides practical and emotional support, acting as a single point of access for patients on the cancer pathway. Working closely with clinical staff and additional roles, this role ensures a more integrated approach across the Health and Social Care sector.

This post is an exciting opportunity to work with Nottingham City’s PCN 8 (Clifton and Meadows). Using the Macmillan Electronic Holistic Needs Assessment to support Cancer Care Reviews will ensure patients have access to the right support for all their non-clinical needs. The post will also work on the preventative agenda, supporting uptake of cancer screening across the PCNs and supporting the practices within the PCNs to deliver their improvement plan around early diagnosis of cancer (in line with NHS England and NHS Improvement - QOF Quality Improvement domain 20/21 – Early diagnosis of cancer). The post holder will be expected to work a significant proportion of their time within the PCN areas, both within the community and within GP surgeries.

Job Purpose and Objectives

• Work in partnership with the practice staff, inclusive of link workers to ensure referral pathways are clear and criteria for accessing the Gateway is understood.
• Monitor Cancer QOF lists, offering support, Cancer Care Reviews, and completing eHNAs for eligible patients as appropriate.
• Support individuals to create a Care and Support plan with the aim of supporting them to live better with a Cancer Diagnosis.
• Support with the delivery of care and support plans, referring to other organisations as appropriate.
• Work within different communities in the PCN area to increase awareness of the benefits of screening programmes.
• Actively encourage and support targeted communities and individuals to take up screening opportunities they are eligible for.
• Work closely with GP practices within the PCN to ensure that social prescribing referral codes are inputted to EMIS/SystmOne/Vision and that the person’s use of the NHS can be tracked, adhering to data protection legislation and data sharing agreements with the clinical commissioning group (CCG).
• Have a comprehensive understanding of safeguarding and escalate safeguarding concerns.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Be responsible for incoming resident referrals. You will meet with the resident, understand their needs and what matters to them to develop a personalised action plan to provide relevant support.
  
  
• Be responsible for referring patients to onward voluntary and community groups for continuing support to their health and wellbeing.
  
  
• Provide ongoing support to the resident for approximately four sessions, which could vary from follow-up phone calls or attending appointments with the resident, centred around what is best for the resident. 

• Be responsible for developing exit strategies and ensuring residents are receiving appropriate support, and aware of the right services before discharge.
  
  
• Actively feedback key themes and insight to ensure continuing development and support of Bexley’s Voluntary Sector.

Grants and Trusts Manager

We are seeking a Grants and Trusts Manager to join our Fundraising team and lead on gaining income from grant-making bodies.

The aim of this amazing charity is to help improve the lives of young people in Burnt Oak by giving them ‘somewhere to go, something to do and someone to talk to’. If you have a passion for putting young people first, we want to hear from you!

Position: Grants and Trusts Manager

Location: Burnt Oak, London. This is a hybrid position, though for an exceptional candidate we may consider fully-remote

Salary: £40,000 - £42,000 per annum FTE (pro rata-ed depending on number of days a week the successful candidate contracts to)

Hours: Permanent, 4 days a week (32 hours, 0.8 FTE). Hours worked are flexible and certainly you are not tied to “9-5”. We will also consider applications from someone wishing to work 3 days a week (24 hours, 0.6 FTE)

About the role:

A part of the Fundraising team, as Grants and Trusts Manager you will lead on gaining income from grant-making bodies. You will line manage the Grants and Trusts Officer, and will need to develop strong relationships with the Delivery team, so you can match their funding needs to the right funder and get the right information from them to ensure a high quality of reporting.

Other key responsibilities will include:

· Overseeing a pipeline of grants and trusts applications, re-applications and reporting

· Working closely with the Delivery team to ensure the right bids are being submitted

· Working with the Impact and Insight Officer to shape monitoring and evaluation strategy and practice

· Leading tours and face-to-face and online meetings with Foundation staff and Trustees

· Working within the broader Fundraising team, supporting colleagues and department-wide projects

About you:

To be successful in the role of Grants and Trusts Manager you will have experience of trust and grant bid writing within a professional setting.

You will also need to bring with you the following skills and experience:

· Produce compelling asks and proposals in line with the charity's objectives and the funders requirements

· Experience of gathering, understanding and presenting complex information and data

· Experience of working within a charity fundraising environment

· Experience of cultivating relationships with funders, both via verbal and written methods of communication

· Ability to prioritise tasks, manage own time and achieve strict / multiple deadlines

· High level of IT competence, excellent internet research skills and database management

What the role looks like

The Financial Education Coordinator will be responsible for recruiting and onboarding schools to embed our free financial education resources into primary school classrooms. You will have an excellent understanding of the challenges and pressures that exist within a primary school environment. You will be able to generate enthusiasm for financial education, as well as develop strong relationships with schools and other project collaborators. You will achieve this by proactively researching, networking, and making connections with schools in London and the Southeast region. About the role

Premier League Stadium Fund Technical Manager (Midlands and East of England)

The role will be home-based, but geographically will be required to cover clubs and leagues based in the Midlands and the East of England.

Regular travel to clubs’ stadiums will be required, as well as occasional travel to our office at Wembley Stadium in London.

The role

Working as part of a team of Technical Managers, you will support our Stadium Accreditation Programme and will lead on the technical/construction aspects of Premier League Stadium Fund grant projects.

Stadium Accreditation

You will support the Stadium Accreditation Programme by helping establish new ways of working following the initial assessment of approximately 1,000 stadiums across England and Wales. You will have responsibility for a set of leagues and clubs across the Midlands and the East of England and you will work with them to ensure their compliance while also delivering against the objectives outlined within the new Premier League Stadium Fund Facilities Strategy.

Grant Management

You will also be responsible for the scrutiny of the technical and construction aspects of Premier League Stadium Fund grant applications and ensuring the successful completion of new and improved stadium facilities. As part of this process, you will provide professional advice and guidance to applicants to assist with the development of capital projects, within the National League System (NLS) and Women’s Football Pyramid (WFP).

You will work with clubs to ensure that solutions can be found to address the findings of the Stadium Accreditation Programme, and will then carry out a technical assessment of any grant applications made by those clubs. Following the allocation of any funding, you will help to oversee the construction process to ensure that the build is completed to programme.

What are we looking for?

You’ll need a construction-related degree or professional qualification (for example RICS, CIOB, RIBA or equivalent), or the equivalent experience in a construction management or technical role. You’ll have expertise in construction processes, and experience of delivering facilities from inception to completion. Experience in sports facility construction is desirable but not essential.

You must also have great people skills and the ability to inspire and engage people at all levels, from clients and suppliers to volunteers, whilst also being confident in dealing with conflict and challenging situations. You’ll have strong organisational skills and a keen attention to detail with the ability to analyse complex situations and make tough decisions. You’ll be flexible and open to new ways of doing things, including new technologies, so that the Premier League Stadium Fund and the Stadium Accreditation programme continue to improve.
