This includes the successful and established Counselling Services, Advice & Information Service, Peer Support and Befriending. This exciting new post will also involve taking a lead on local partnerships with both statutory and other voluntary sector organisations.

With experience managing community-based services and of partnership working, you will need to demonstrate that you can motivate teams and individuals, communicate effectively and deliver continuous improvement in service delivery.

The successful candidate will join an established group of Heads of Services who represent us across our other 3 boroughs.

Evolve, a leading mental health counselling charity, is seeking a part-time administrator receptionist, to be the first point of contact for clients seeking our non-emergency professional mental health counselling services.

The postholder will manage phone calls and web enquiries through to successful conclusions via our Head of Counselling and their team of over fifty counsellors, creating and maintaining client records with Charitylog – a client records management system.

They will be the key source of information and support for this team of counsellors, who all work remotely currently across greater Cambridgeshire, Northants, and Peterborough areas, making sure they have all necessary support and information for their roles.

Our administrator will also organise and manage all other corporate information for the Trustee Board, the CEO, and their leadership team plus our volunteer staff – building an effective ‘memory’ for Evolve and helping us to grow and support more people.

The Evaluation Manager is pivotal in spearheading the strategic planning, delivery and dissemination of Magic Breakfast’s day-to-day evaluation activity, as part of the wider Impact and Insights Team’s approach to communicating research, evaluation and insights. They will hold responsibility for planning, coordinating and delivering a comprehensive programme of evaluation projects to support evaluation and impact measurement, continuous improvement, business development and communication. Title: Therapeutic Services Manager – Rainbow Mind LGBTQIA+ One to One Therapy Service
Hours: 37.5 hours p/w

Employed and based at: Mind in Salford, The Angel Centre, Salford M3 6FA. Hybrid working is appropriate for this role.

Rainbow Mind (Northern Hub - Salford) is looking for a full time Therapeutic Services Manager to oversee our one-to-one therapy service.

We have recently received a large grant from the Lottery Community Fund to expand our service and further develop our bespoke therapeutic model.

We are looking for a visionary with expertise in therapeutic approaches and an unstoppable passion for LGBTQIA+ mental health. Someone who understands the health inequalities and barriers to accessing mental health services people from the community can face. Someone who is committed to change.

Overall Purpose of the Role:

• To effectively manage and provide strategic and operational oversight of the Rainbow Mind counselling service and development of service provision.
• To ensure delivery of consistent, high-quality counselling across the client cohorts, supporting and empowering our service users, whilst ensuring clinical work is carried out in accordance with BACP ethical guidelines and Rainbow Mind protocols.
• As part of the Senior Leadership Team, to contribute to Mind in Salford / Rainbow Mind’s vision, mission and objectives.

Main focus of the role:

• To lead, develop, coordinate, and represent Rainbow Mind’s counselling service internally and externally at Senior Management level.
• To conduct some clinical assessments and carry a caseload of counselling clients.

We are excited to be advertising the role of Psychotherapy Service Manager at Respond, to lead our team and the development of our psychotherapy services with autistic people and people with learning disabilities who have experienced trauma and their families.  Many of our clients may have experienced complex or multiple traumatic experiences including sexual violence, domestic abuse and neglect.

The Psychotherapy Service provides predominantly longer-term therapeutic support of a year or more, depending on how the work is funded, to an average of 130 unique individuals per year.  The current team of 10 are made up of 4 senior therapists (reporting to the postholder), 4 therapists and 2 honoraries in training, the majority of whom are Arts therapists and work within a psychodynamic and/or systemic model.

We welcome applications from experienced Psychodynamic Counsellor/Psychotherapists, Arts therapists, Psychologists or Family Therapists who are passionate about our work. You will work psychodynamically, champion our trauma informed approach including our reflective practice model and have the opportunity to influence and shape the development of the psychotherapy service.  Leading the small team, you will provide clinical leadership and be Safeguarding lead, ensuring we continue to provide high quality psychotherapy services.  We are offering the role at 4-5 days per week, working in a hybrid manner flexibly. You can also hold your own small case load of clients, supervisees and/or consultancy work within the role.

This is a unique and specialist role and we recognise that you may have more experience in one clinical area or client group than another, given the breadth of our work and whilst you may be experienced in working psychodynamically as a therapist and as a line manager, you may be newer to leading a service for example. Or you may have a great deal of other experience and understanding of the needs of our clients from other work.  We are flexible to develop the right candidate who is passionate about improving the lives of autistic people, people with learning disabilities and their family members.

Respond is entering the last year of our three-year strategy, in which we will continue to be focusing on our psychotherapy service, which is a core part of Respond’s offer as a charity for now thirty-four years.   Our mission is to reduce the impact of trauma in the lives of people with learning disabilities and autistic people, by developing trusting relationships, through psychotherapeutically informed services which include advocacy, training and consultation.

• Hybrid working model, which means that if you’re full time you make a commitment to be working in the office at least two days a week, with the remainder working from home.  Part time hours are altered accordingly.

• Deliver PMH awareness training workshops to stakeholders and organisations

Clinical Lead Person Specification - Essential Qualifications and Experience:    

The successful candidate must:   

• Hold a professional qualification in psychotherapy/clinical or counselling psychology or equivalent, together with a minimum of 5-years post qualification experience.    
• Have a good working knowledge and awareness of perinatal mental health issues and experience of working with perinatal mental health and trauma informed practice.  
• Have experience of providing clinical supervision  
• Be accredited with an appropriate professional body e.g., BACP, UKCP or HCPC.  

Eligible to hold an enhanced DBS without barring.
