Sufra is an innovative charity in Northwest London that prevents hunger, fights poverty and builds community.
With the help of our volunteers and partners, we coordinate a network of food banks and community kitchens, as well as a social supermarket and café. We're looking for a talented Individual Giving Manager to join our small team. The role will be responsibile for the delivery of our excellent supporter stewardship, care and retention programmes, whilst driving fundraising growth.

- Database: help implement and maintain a new CRM system.

About the Role

Following a series of significant new business wins, the Corporate Fundraising Team at CALM are looking to grow. We are looking for an ambitious and experienced account manager who is motivated by results and a natural-born relationship builder.
The role will be responsible for managing, growing and extending a portfolio of existing corporate partnerships, and, where appropriate, may be asked to support with new business by attending meetings, pitches and staff votes on an ad hoc basis. This role reports into the Corporate Fundraising Lead.
Responsibilities

Provide excellent relationship management to a portfolio of corporate partners (worth approx. £20k-100k per annum), including, but not limited to, producing account management plans, setting partnership objectives, supporting fundraising initiatives and employee engagement, thereby significantly contributing to the corporate fundraising budget and strategy.

Ensure partnership milestones and fundraising targets are monitored, met, reported on and celebrated with key internal and external stakeholders.

Confidently represent CALM at key meetings and events, where public speaking and the delivery of CALM Champion Workshops may be required.

Work closely with the Services, Data and MarComms teams to build engaging, accurate and tailored impact reports for partners that encourage long-term support.

Continue to seek ways of deepening partner relationships, and spotting opportunities for growth and extensions where possible, contributing to CALM’s strategy of growing repeatable, sustainable income.

Devise sustainable exit strategies for partners that leave behind a lasting legacy for CALM.

Build strong working relationships and collaborate closely with colleagues across CALM to complement partnership activity.

Use data, insight and subject matter expertise to inform team strategy, budgeting and reporting.

Support the corporate partnerships team, where necessary, in securing new partnerships. This may involve (but not limited to) providing quotes or case studies, attending meetings or pitches, and canvassing for staff votes.

Support the Corporate Fundraising team with administrative tasks and identifying and making improvements to working practice, process and knowledge across the High Value team to drive efficiency, improved ROI and inform strategy.

Adhere to GDPR and be fully conversant with relevant fundraising regulator legislation and guidelines.

Maintain awareness of industry trends and best practice, with a view to use these to benefit CALM.

Be a data steward for fundraising, ensuring quality data management.

When required, be an active and engaged member of CALM’s EDI Supergroup.

Experience

5-7 years experience of successfully managing multi-layered, five or six figure corporate partnerships, ideally within the third sector - from the onboarding of a partnership to delivering exit strategies.

Experience of being part of a new business process whether that’s attending meetings, pitches or staff votes.

Experience of working in a fast paced environment with conflicting priorities and deadlines.

Charity People are recruiting on behalf of a wonderful charity based near Stratford Upon Avon to find them a proactive and highly organised person to work in their Corporate Partnerships team. Working in a team of five, and reporting to the Senior Corporate Partnerships Manager, this role will also include event coordination, ensuring the smooth running of their annual event taking place on the 25th June. You will be able to work a full day, and attend the events out of working hours that afternoon into evening. The ideal candidate will be confident, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide ongoing support across corporate partnerships and be comfortable approaching a researched pipeline of corporate prospects (potential value £5k-£10k) including meeting with clients and developing proposals.
- Administer the ongoing corporate volunteering programme for the charity's corporate partners and corporate prospects.
- Help organise the event, arranging the guest list, following up with invitees and RSVPS, updating and recording on the charity CRM (Donorfy) and Excel, liaise with suppliers, sending regular updates to the team
- Research and deliver detailed and accurate research and due diligence on corporate prospects as required.
- Support the SCPM with the stewardship of HoEF corporate partners, ensuring strong relationships are maintained.
- Ensure accuracy of recording and customer data management across corporate partnerships using Donorfy and provide reports as required.
- Maintain accurate income records on Donorfy and in Excel spreadsheets, conducting cross-checks to ensure data integrity.
- Ensure corporate files on SharePoint are well maintained to a high standard of organisation.
- Support the administration of supporter care, including maintaining up-to-date records on our CRM, responding promptly to inquiries and donor stewardship.
You will bring:
- Previous corporate partnerships experience, including prospecting and stewardship.
- Confident, with a can-do, enthusiastic work ethic.
- Comfortable working independently within a small team, while knowing when to seek support.
- Strong multitasking abilities and abilities to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills to assess corporate prospects and conduct due diligence.
- Ability to manage and maintain structured filing systems, both digital (SharePoint) and CRM-based (Donorfy).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for income tracking and cross-checking financial records.
This is an exciting opportunity for a corporate partnerships fundraiser to contribute to a meaningful cause and gain valuable experience. The ideal candidate will be confident, organised, proactive and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently and quickly.
There are no buses or trains in a commutable distance. So, you it would be ideal for a car driver, there is parking on site. The office is quite far into the countryside, however there is no set expectation to be in the office, only when required, ideally once a fortnight, and then the week running up to the event.

To lead on corporate partnerships and support the other areas of income generation, including trusts and foundations fundraising and service development.
