Key Purpose:
This role encompasses the day-to-day running of RABI’s mental health training programme. To include liaising with individuals and organisations seeking training; working with RABI’s specialist training providers; budgeting and invoicing, monitoring and evaluating the service.
In addition, the role will seek to explore possibilities for the development of the service, including working with external organisations across the sector to upskill and empower their staff.
The role involves cross departmental working, particularly with the Fundraising, Volunteering and Finance departments to ensure both the smooth running of the service, but also the development of it to ensure it reaches its full potential.
Implementing relevant procedures and processes, revising and facilitating continuous improvement will be key to the success of the role, with a focus on gaining impact reporting and integrating the service into the CRM.
Building and maintaining successful working relationships both internally and externally and ensuring the highest standards of service delivery are essential to the role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop opportunities to engage with prospective strategic corporate partners around mental health training.
- Lead the management and delivery of RABI’s mental health training from initial contact through to booking, invoicing and feedback.
- Manage the budgets related to delivery of the mental health training service.
- Work with other RABI departments to ensure promotion of RABI’s mental health training and maximise the opportunities it provides.
- Work with existing and prospective trainees to maximise benefits for both parties, identifying the training and ensuring training is kept up to date.
- Act as a first point of contact for strategic partners interested in mental health training.
- Provide subject matter expertise and advice to support the Senior Management Team in developing strategic priorities and projections.
- To support with the completion of collaborative working proposals and pitches that involve mental health training.
- To attend, contribute and chair where appropriate, meetings, briefings and reviews with existing and potential partner organisations.
- To provide reporting as required, related to the mental health training service.
- Act as a conduit to introduce partner organisations to other RABI teams as appropriate.
- Supporting on the development of partnership agreements, Memorandum of Understanding and other written documents as required.
- Act as a representative of RABI at events.
- Working with RABI colleagues to collect and track data on the effectiveness of the mental health training, and impact reporting.
- Work to develop RABI’s mental health training service to maximise its impact and effectiveness across the wider farming community.
- To integrate the mental health training service from booking through to invoicing and reporting, with the CRM system, to ensure all data is captured, relationships managed and reporting provided.
- Be an ambassador for Partnerships internally within RABI and with external organisations.

The role of Dose of Nature’s Development Manager is a permanent, high-level role which will continue to evolve as the work of Dose of Nature grows over the coming years. The post involves creating and implementing a fundraising strategy, supporting the Chief Executive with financial planning, and providing clear long-term direction to income generation.
The Development Manager will work directly with the Chief Executive to devise a long-term development strategy, identify and secure funding partners, and produce relevant and compelling funding proposals. Currently the main sources of funding are from trust and foundation grants and local council health care grants. Going forward the Development Manager will grow the funding stream from trusts and foundations and look to solidify the donations from locals. As the charity develops there will also be opportunities of securing funding from the corporate sector, helping to secure Dose of Nature’s future.
The role requires a focused and detail-oriented mindset, entrepreneurial flair, business development experience, excellent written communication and interpersonal skills, good time management and the ability to juggle several complicated tasks at once. It provides a fantastic opportunity for someone with a “can-do” attitude, someone who is passionate about supporting the aims of Dose of Nature and also who wants the freedom to make this role their own.
As with any small charity we hope to find someone who is multi-faceted in terms of their fundraising skill set, and within this, without being a communications specialist, we anticipate that the Development Manager will have experience of charity communications (although this is not the main focus of the role). Ideally the Development Manager will be able to help with creating a communications strategy, support communication tools such as newsletters and social media, and identify any opportunities that may help Dose of Nature grow.
Dose of Nature has an annual turnover of approximately £400,000, of which 75% is currently raised from trust and foundation grants along with donations from individuals. The Development Manager will be responsible for maintaining this income and also securing significant new funding during 2024-25. With a good network of local support, the Development Manager will have the advantage of having a database of supporters to work with and there is the potential to create an individual appeal or giving scheme. Currently the Chief Executive makes all funding applications to trusts and foundations and these relationships will be passed on to the Development Manager who will be expected to nurture these and secure grants from new sources.

About the role
This is a very exciting time to join the team, with the imminent rehoming of the millionth hen and the national coverage this presents, you will have the opportunity to make this role your own. The full-time role of Community Fundraiser is a new position in a recently restructured Fundraising team, working with the Head of Fundraising, Individual Giving Manager and Corporate and Trust Fundraising Manager. This is a home-based role with regular travel to Hen Central for meetings, events and ad hoc tasks so it would be ideal for someone who is South West based. Main Purpose of Job:
The purpose of this exciting new role is to raise community fundraising income by building and developing relationships with key community fundraisers, community groups, fundraising volunteers, schools and community stakeholders. 4. To act as the charity’s main lead for all Community Fundraising related activities and respond to and/or direct all incoming Fundraising enquiries where appropriate.
5. To work with the Head of Fundraising to develop a calendar of supporter-led running events in 2025 and beyond, ensuring places are promoted and that prospective runners are well supported and managed in order to reach individual targets.
6. To work proactively with Marketing and Communications colleagues and provide compelling and engaging content for use in communication channels including the BHWT’s supporter magazine and social media channels to encourage supporters to fundraise for hens and thank/acknowledge.
7. To manage and facilitate communications effectively across key community fundraising streams to aid retention and secure future support e.g. the quarterly newsletter to Egg Club and regular updates to the Sponsor a Hen audiences.
8. To provide monthly reports to the Head of Fundraising in all areas of Community Fundraising.
9. To administer the various elements of the fundraising streams e.g. sending out fundraising packs and thank you letters.
10. To ensure compliance with all relevant legislation including GDPR and data protection.
11. To maintain accurate records on SharePoint and Salesforce.
12. To provide support to other areas of fundraising where appropriate and undertake ad hoc tasks from time to time as required within the charity.
13. To attend events on behalf of the charity from time to time.

Job Purpose
Reporting to our PR Lead, the PR Manager will play a crucial role raising the profile of Save the Children UK amongst key target audiences, by developing and delivering projects that command media attention and coverage.

The PR Manager's key duties will be:
Strategy and Project Management
Work closely with team members in other departments within Save the Children to provide excellent PR support to develop and execute creative ways to deliver on Save the Children's objectives. Delivery to include:
- Brand – Build high profile and positive perceptions of Save the Children and its cause across all audiences via PR. Communicate our brand promise and build understanding with the public and opinion formers, demonstrating the depth, scale, impact and complexity of our work.
- Campaigns – Provide PR support to deliver across high–profile moments across Save the Children's major campaigns such as Christmas Jumper Day in order to achieve mass audience engagement.
- Compelling storytelling - Engage audiences through impactful child-centric stories, championing children's voices in order to empower the communities we work with.
- Reputation management – Support the wider team to protect Save the Children's reputation and identify issues relating to corporate risk management.
Delivering Media Coverage
- Develop and execute mass-market PR plans that amplify key strategic campaigns and initiatives across the calendar year, including brand, fundraising and advocacy priorities.
- Identify and maximise opportunities to generate reactive media coverage, responding effectively to external events, news and the cultural conversation.
- Write, co-ordinate and issue media releases, statements, briefing materials and Q&As, including for high-profile spokespeople and corporate partners, if required.

About you
To be successful in this role, it is important that you have:

The role
This is an important post in the finance team and, as the Part qualified Management Accountant you will be responsible for a number of important processes supporting month end, reforecasts and the annual budget. - Experience of pipeline and relationship development in international markets for example Europe/US and/or the Middle East.
