Job description

You’ll work closely with all members of the People & Culture teams and internal and external stakeholders. You’ll be the first point of contact for people and recruitment related queries - working with the wider People Operations Team. 

You’ll play a pivotal role in the development and delivery of our cross organisational learning and EDI initiatives for colleagues. Through excellent coordination and planning, engagement with stakeholders and colleagues, you will ensure we are able to deliver our learning programmes. 

What you’ll do: 

  • Coordinate a series of learning, wellbeing and EDI programmes, as well coordinating support to L&D team to arrange in house training for colleagues 

  • Manage all generic HR email accounts and ensure that these are responded to in a timely and effective manner and signposting to employees on policy and procedures where appropriate

  • Support in the delivery of the monthly payroll for approximately 600 employees by inputting data into to the HRIS and generating letters/contracts

  • Support the charity’s recruitment process by liaising with candidates, organising interviews and reference checking 

What you’ll bring: 

  • Experience of working within an HR environment in a busy and varied team 

  • Good eye for detail and accuracy are essential, with the ability to spot and correct errors and weaknesses in processes 

  • Experience of providing coordination support to a variety of programmes managed by multiple stakeholders

  • Ability to prioritise work effectively, from a variety of internal and external stakeholders
