The role
With support from our Marketing and Communications Manager and wider team, you will play a vital role by creating, managing and optimising our digital communications, including the development, execution and measurement of email mailshots and campaigns, our social media channels, and our website.
You will be comfortable planning and devising email and social media content ideas, designing creative assets, writing sharp, engaging social media copy, and helping colleagues to grow their own social media presence.

Your experience

The Role
The Clubhouse Social Café Manager will lead on the implementation of the of café (Due to open in October 2024) and will manage the Food and Beverage Operations in line with food, and health and safety regulations. You will be involved in the initial set-up of the facility.
You will be responsible for managing the day to day running of the café, providing a diverse of community and health wellbeing projects in collaboration with Trust Senior Manager - Health and Wellbeing. They will also manage and mentor staff and trainees to deliver an effective and inclusive service to customers.
About You
We are looking for a passionate, inspiring catering/hospitality specialist to lead on training, mentoring and the hospitality operation of our new Clubhouse Café at Gunnersbury Park. The café is part of the new Community Sports hub at the site and will also double as a social and community space linking into community projects for all ages. Projects will include mental and physical health with the space acting as a central meeting/training hub. In this capacity you will work closely with the Trust's Health and Wellbeing Senior Manager.
We are partnering with the homeless charity Change Please to create a West London training hub. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and training the café team. Our founder partners in the project are The University of West London (UWL) and the Premier League and Professional Footballers Association Fund. We are linking with the University to offer a range of immersive opportunities for their catering and business students and our Café Manager will link with them on a number of working projects.
The other aspect is the promotion and training in the importance of food, health and performance and the Manager will work with our Trust team to create innovative content and inspiring outreach programmes. Whilst we expect the Manager to have an active interest in food and nutrition, we plan to put some catering support and training in place to support the position.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual who has appropriate experience to lead the food and beverage side of the operation. They will be involved in the initial set-up of the facility (Due to open in Summer 2025) and the establishment of appropriate operation and health and safety procedures.
We have developed a sustainable business plan, however you will have the opportunity of contributing to the ongoing development plan. We have the benefit of understanding who our customers are, when they are, and even when they will arrive! Key Responsibilities
- Lead on the implementation of the café, including the setup, adherence to food and health safety and regulations, and staffing.
- Development and procurement of suppliers for café to ensure efficient service delivery.

About The Role

Job Purpose
As Project Manager for the BSR registers you will ensure the continued success of BSR’s biologics and biosimilars registers and support BSR’s Registers and Research Committee. This role requires someone who is highly organised with a keen eye for detail, strong financial and commercial acumen, and the ability to develop relationships with stakeholders from across a range of different sectors.
About the BSR registers: The BSR registers are a vital source of rheumatology data, which we encourage the rheumatology community to access and analyse for research purposes. BSR’s three active patient registers covering rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis and juvenile idiopathic arthritis are open for recruitment. Our ankylosing spondylitis register, although closed for recruitment, is available to access for academic research and is contributing data to research questions coming out of the EuroSpA research collaboration.
Main Responsibilities
Management of the BSR registers
- Hold overall responsibility for management of the BSR registers including all legal, contractual and financial matters
- Work with BSR’s delivery partners and registers funders to ensure that contracts, protocols and other agreements are implemented, upheld and administered effectively
- With support from the Head of Publishing and Director of Practice and Quality, negotiate, agree and manage contractual agreements with partners and funders
- Proactively and diplomatically manage contractual and legal risks and issues as they arise
- Ensure the rights and obligations of the BSR (including intellectual property rights and patients’ data protection rights) are upheld and met
- Monitor emerging issues and changes to policy and regulatory frameworks that impact BSR registers, ensuring that colleagues and partners receive timely updates and that BSR responds promptly, ethically, and transparently
Relationship Management and Communications
- Develop and maintain strong and productive relationships with BSR’s delivery partners and funders
- Support the delivery partners to maximise recruitment to the BSR registers
- Oversee and facilitate communications about the registers between BSR, partners, funders and stakeholders
- Develop relationships with relevant stakeholders, including regulatory and oversight bodies
- Collaborate with BSR’s communications team to drive registers awareness and engagement and develop content for social media, website and member communications

Person Specification

This is a busy period of clearing and enrolments so you will be required for a minimum 2-month period. As an Admissions Manager, you'll provide vital support to the Head of Admissions, overseeing day-to-day operations, managing the Admissions team, and ensuring all processes are efficient, fair, and customer-focused. Your new role
- To provide management support to the Head of Admissions around the admissions business process, and in the development and documentation of agreed processes, procedures and policies.
- To take operational management responsibility for student admissions in relation to all applications across the University (FE, UG & PGT & PGR), including the provision of training to admissions practitioners.
- To act as line manager to Admissions Officers.
- To ensure all admissions processes, policies and procedures are being followed throughout the University within agreed Service Level Agreements.
- To have responsibility for the liaison with Programme Directors and Deputy Deans to resolve the legitimacy of rejects, alternative course offers and APEL decisions.
- To regularly generate reports and analysis to inform the progression and development of the admissions team, and to provide ad-hoc statistical analysis when requested from the Head of Admissions or other stakeholders.
- To work closely with the Student Recruitment & Engagement team to ensure a seamless student journey from application to enrolment.
- To develop, manage, monitor and report on applicant communications using the SITS student record system and the CRM system.
- Liaise with colleagues in the Marketing, Communications & Content team to ensure non-entry requirement UCAS Entry Profile information is accurate and reviewed annually.
- To be responsible for monitoring application statistics to ensure that they match application data held in the SITS student record system
- Be responsible for fee status assessment and ensure that the Admissions Team are kept informed on changes to fee status classification and UKVI requirements.
- To act as the main point of contact for the application process with key stakeholders both internally and externally, particularly with feeder schools and colleges with external progression agreements in place (in collaboration with the Partnerships & Engagement Manager, who has responsibility for maintaining feeder school relationships).
- In addition, the Admissions Manager will be responsible for maintaining successful operational relationships between Academic Staff, Registry, Student Services and Finance.
- To act as an ambassador during Open Days and external Marketing & Student Recruitment events on behalf of the university, both within the UK and overseas when required.

Responsibilities and Person Specification:
The External Training Manager will work with internal subject matter experts to develop and implement our programme of external training which is aimed at building knowledge of older people’s options when experiencing financial hardship.
Our training is aimed at professionals and trusted intermediaries working in the commercial, statutory and not for profit sectors. Our ambition is for everyone who works with older people to know what older people may be entitled to, how to support them to claim and where to get further help.
You should have extensive experience of designing and delivering training to a range of audiences, along with experience of developing resources and of training evaluation. Knowledge of how to ensure training is inclusive and accessible, along with excellent communication and relationship building skills is essential. Prior knowledge of financial hardship topics relating to older people is not required, as you will be working with subject matter experts.

About You
The Central Operations Assistant is responsible for supporting the Central Operations Manager with administrative support for the Society, which includes finance administration, membership and grants administration and journal sales processing. There is also a requirement for the postholder to support with some facilities management and office support activities.
