We are seeking an individual with a solution-focused attitude to problem solving and the ability to balance and prioritise competing demands in a busy function. A successful track record of managing complex projects is essential. An understanding of education and school-centred programmes would be a distinct advantage.
Reporting to the South West and South and Mid-Wales Educational Partnerships Regional Manager, this role provides a real opportunity to help drive social mobility in the South West, and to ensure that young people across the region have access to vital skills and attributes for future life and work.

Job Title: Global Press & PR Manager

Part 1: Role Purpose:
The Global Press & PR Manager will play a vital role in growing awareness and exposure of Street Child, working with journalists, editors and media houses to build a consistent and pro-active media presence. Street Child’s Global MMC team is fully integrated into the whole organisation and our primary aim is to raise awareness of Street Child and act as a force-multiplier for fundraising efforts.
The role will explore new media relationships and re-ignite existing contacts, turbo-charging the value press and media generates for Street Child.
This is a role for a high-class media professional with a passion for our mission, great energy, imaginations and fantastic relationship building skills. This role requires an individual who will be based in our London office for a minimum of three days a week.
Tasks include delivering media coverage across global outlets, supporting the delivery of media training and briefings and the management/development of Street Child’s podcast.
Part 2: Key Responsibilities:
Delivering global media coverage (80%):
- Develop and maintain close working relationships with journalists across a range of broadcast, print and digital media outlets, looking beyond mainstream media to deliver global reach.
- Writing and publishing compelling, engaging press releases
- Manage and deliver media coverage on key campaigns and initiatives
- Support on the delivery of media briefings, including for the CEO, where required
- Lead and deliver PR campaigns, including influencer activations and activity
- Support the planning and management of overseas and UK trips for the purpose of generating coverage and content, often with journalists or high-profile supporters
- Be available for out of hours media, this will see you handling media enquiries and proactively pushing out stories at the weekend and out of hours during the week- this is crucial to communicating our rapid responses in a timely manner.
- Podcast management and development (10%)

- Plan, research, and produce engaging podcast episodes, ensuring high-quality content that highlights Street Child’s programmes, impact stories, and key messages. This includes scripting, interviewing, editing, and post-production.
- Identify, reach out to, and coordinate with potential guests, including Street Child staff, beneficiaries, industry experts, and celebrity supporters. Manage these relationships to ensure a diverse and compelling line-up of interviewees.
- Monitor and analyse podcast performance metrics, listener feedback, and industry trends. Use insights to continuously improve content quality, format, and reach, ensuring the podcast remains relevant and impactful.
- Work with the wider team to develop and execute marketing and promotional plans to grow the podcast’s audience.
Strategic support (10%):
- Working closely with key stakeholders from other departments within Street Child to provide PR support, as well as developing and executing creative ways to deliver Street Child’s objectives.
- Building high profile, positive awareness of Street Child and our mission across PR; this must help to educate the public and demonstrate the scale of our impact with key external stakeholders.

About the role
The Programme Coordinator will primarily be responsible for supporting Money Heroes, our largest primary programme designed to develop the financial capability of children across England and Wales. Money Heroes provides resources, training and mentoring for primary schools, as well as storybooks, games and other materials to supplement learning about money at school and in the home.
The Programme Coordinator will work closely with the Programme Manager and the Money Heroes team to ensure the smooth running of the programme, including coordinating content development and website updates, supporting the delivery of teacher training events, supporting the marketing and promotion of the programme, and supporting ongoing monitoring and evaluation. The role also works more broadly across the whole of the Programmes and Services team to ensure joined-up cohesive support is offered internally and externally to staff, teachers and other educators.
The post holder will be responsible for providing high-level customer service both internally and externally to a variety of people including teachers and other educators and YE staff. This role will also provide ongoing support to ensure we are effectively communicating the aims and objectives of our programmes to external stakeholders through newsletters, social media and email campaigns.

Job Purpose and Summary
Do you want to be part of an exciting and varied fundraising programme?
Currently, our student team supports hundreds of students per year to take part in some incredible fundraising challenges. This includes national and international treks and marathons, such as climbing Kilimanjaro, trekking across the Morocco High Atlas Mountains or running 26.2 miles through Budapest.
We have two roles available for Student Fundraising Assistants to work with the current team across campuses in the UK and one in Ireland. With the purpose to engage with students at our partner universities and inspire them to join us on a fuindraising challenge to defeat meningitis and tick off a bucket list adventure.
The Student Fundraising Assistant will support the student team with recruiting students to take on one of these challenges. Some primary tasks and activities will include attending freshers' fairs, presenting about Meningitis Research Foundation’s student programme at information meetings and making phone calls to those who have registered their interest.
This role requires strong prioritisation and communication skills, sensitivity and flexibility. Whether you come with direct fundraising experience or have transferable skills that the role requires, we will support and develop you to excel in your role. What we are really looking for is someone passionate about making a difference and who is confident and outgoing when talking to new people. You will be the face and voice of the cause when talking to students.
Meningitis Research Foundation is based in Bristol, but this role is flexible and is open to remote working with regular visits to universities across the UK.
We offer an annual salary of £23,000 (pro-rata), 6% employer pension contribution and employee assistance program alongside annual leave of 25 days per year (pro-rata). This is an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Psychologist to contribute to increasing and improving emotional and mental health provision within education settings for 5–18-yearolds, young adults (15 - 18), families, and other professionals within the London Boroughs of Hammersmith and Fulham.
The "Be Kind to Your Mind (BK2YM)" service provides evidence-based mental health support to school- and college-aged Children and Young People, staff, young adults, families, and other professionals within the London Boroughs of Hammersmith and Fulham.
Be Kind to Your Mind (BK2YM) is a non-clinical, mental health and wellbeing offer delivered by HFEH MIND Youth Services. BK2YM’s non-clinical interventions and psychoeducation programme (Learn Well) offers a multitiered level of support:
- Preventative and early intervention for children and young people aged 5 – 25 through HFEH Mind Psychoeducation Workshops and assemblies.
- Training for school staff and other professionals.
- Therapeutic Arts intervention (x6 sessions) for students.
- Access to a digital support tool (self-help): WYSA.
- Access to wider digital/online support tolls (Including My Mind TV).
Key Responsibilities
- Delivery of Be Kind to Your Mind interventions across schools, colleagues and alternative education.
- Delivering whole school/year group assemblies and ‘drop-down days’ to educational establishments within the defined area(s) of operation.
- Facilitation with targeted outreach to H&F SENCO's/AP's, adapting content for Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in collaboration with Educational Psychologists.
- Ad-hoc creation of bespoke content to complement existing materials.
- Creation and delivery of education staff workshops based on provided training needs assessment form submissions.
- Outreach to schools/organisations, maintenance of Learn Well bookings.
- Maintaining rapport with education/community youth provisions to ensure continuation of delivery across the academic year.
- Co-ordination of targeted outreach/promotion on universal days related to Children and Young People’s Mental Health and issues impacting their mental health and wellbeing generally. (E.g. world mental health day, stress awareness week etc.)

Person Specification
Knowledge and Experience
- An undergraduate Psychology degree (or equivalent) that confers British Psychological Society’s Graduate Basis for Chartered membership (GBC).
- Understanding of the impact of social inequalities and how this relates to mental health.
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of the key socioeconomic and systemic factors that contribute to poor mental health of children, young people, and parents/carers from Black, Asian, and other Ethnic Minority groups.
- Understanding of the importance of maintaining confidentiality.
- Experience of literature reviews, data collection, and analysis.
- Knowledge of mental health and/or social care services.

About the Bar Human Rights Committee
BHRC is the international human rights arm of the Bar of England and Wales, working to protect the rights of advocates, judges and human rights defenders around the world. BHRC is concerned with defending the rule of law and internationally recognised legal standards relating to human rights and the right to a fair trial. It is independent of the Bar Council. About the Role
We are looking for someone who is proactive and efficient with an eye for detail, who has experience working with smaller organisations, and who has a flexible and can-do attitude. The primary responsibilities would be to assist with BHRC communications, events organisation, and project administration. An interest in human rights issues or international development would be of benefit. The position will be directly supervised by the Project Team, with oversight from the Vice Chair and respective office holders as required. The position will be based in part remotely and in part in the London office, including for meetings and events. Working arrangements will be agreed with the successful candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the setting up of meetings, calls (Zoom / telephone / other virtual platforms), appointments and travel arrangements for BHRC-related business, and minute-taking for internal and external meetings on request, including the monthly BHRC Executive Committee meeting (which the Assistant must be available to attend in person unless held on Teams at the discretion of the BHRC Chair).
