About the role

The Policy & Research Team contribute to achieving our goal of winning human rights victories by producing research, policy development and responding to emerging issues in their individual policy areas. The Racial Justice Lead is accountable for research and policy development in line with our racial justice and organisational theory of change and workplan. They will work alongside colleagues in the Policy & Research Team who lead on various policy areas including Refugee and Migrant Rights, Military, Security and Police, Economic Affairs, Gender Justice, Foreign Policy and more. As part of campaigning on areas relating to racial justice this role also responds to emerging issues by developing our reactive policy lines. The day to day of this role involves overseeing research projects with freelance researchers and consultants, responding to policy consultations and parliamentary processes and advising on strategic campaigning decisions. The role also engages with International Mechanisms such as the UN Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination and other related Special Procedures. The role works with our Racial Justice Campaign Manager and Campaigner, our Media and Communications Teams and colleagues supporting our Anti-Racism Activist Network. The role has a human rights impact by working with colleagues and academics in the racial justice sector in the UK, alongside impacted rights holders and rights holder organisations to work collaboratively on policy and campaign asks.

PSTT is a registered charity with a clear vision – we want to see excellent teaching of science in every primary classroom in the UK. We’ve built a Primary Science Teacher College of over 200 outstanding teachers; each helping to shape and influence science teaching across the UK. We organise engaging professional learning events for teachers, and work with partner organisations to further enhance how science is taught. Our 2023-28 strategy is building on these strengths to reach more teachers across a more diverse range of schools.

We’re dedicating our most intensive efforts to areas of the UK requiring most development in primary science. Our Priority Areas initiative is being piloted in 30 schools, and in September 2025 we plan to launch this programme in a further 30 schools. Our Regional Mentors have worked with more than 3,000 schools across England, with exceptionally positive feedback.

Job summary

There are two parts to the Primary Science Mentor role. The majority of the role will focus on strengthening primary science teaching and leadership by leading our second Priority Areas initiative. Through their knowledge of and passion for primary science education, the successful candidate will inspire transformational change in schools taking part in this project. They will build close working relationships with participating schools and create a vibrant and exciting learning community based on mutual support and the sharing of expertise.

The remaining hours in the role will be as a Regional Mentor: joining PSTT’s growing team of primary science experts who provide bespoke support directly to individual schools, multi-academy trusts and other school groupings and organisations. This includes developing and delivering training in a variety of contexts, including online; working individually with Science Leaders; being a leading voice, expert and advocate for primary science (both regionally and nationally); and creating partnerships with other organisations that support science within the region.

A crucial part of the role is to ensure collection of appropriate data for both Priority Areas and Regional Mentor activities, so that we can evaluate our work against intended outcomes.

Your role 

You will be responsible for the management, development and delivery of marketing and communications to support CWNN’s fundraising strategy. You’ll work alongside our Development Manager to create compelling fundraising campaigns, content and communications, growing engagement from individuals, companies, community fundraisers and potential funders while simultaneously raising our profile among stakeholders through strategic communications and marketing plans. This work includes:   

• Support our Development Manager to create and deliver impactful and innovative fundraising strategies including our public appeals, challenge events and local fundraising campaigns.

• Developing and implementing communications strategies to promote CWNN’s work, managing our social media platforms and external comms to ensure they reflect our strategic goals and values.

• Producing our e-newsletter, with support from the Development team, to ensure CWNN’s key work, impact, news and campaigns are effectively promoted to our supporter base.

• Create engaging digital content for our website and social media including written copy, video and graphics.

• Analysing campaign engagement KPIs to inform future strategies and approaches to best engage existing and new audiences.

• Create marketing materials for external use, eg. corporate pitch documents, fundraising packs, gig programmes, flyers and posters using Canva.

• Co-creating case studies, supporting members to share their stories, their way, amplifying their voices and demonstrating the impact of our choirs to stakeholders.

• Co-lead our co-produced ‘Digital Storytellers’ programme with our Community Participation Manager, supporting members to manage their own local social media accounts, sharing their stories and raising awareness of their choirs to new audiences.

• Maintain, organise and populate CWNN’s media library and YouTube channel.

• Write and distribute press releases to both regional and national press and media, fielding media enquiries and building our media contacts.

• Co-ordinate our internal communications programme, working with senior leadership team.

• Carry out any other tasks that arise that are within the scope and purpose of the post as requested by your line manager.

About you 

Essential:

• You’ll have a proven track record in delivering successful, innovative and impactful charity communications content and strategies.

If you are right for this role, you will be a committed, motivated, and outgoing individual who wants to support the sexual and reproductive health (SRH) of young people living in the Royal Borough of Greenwich, working in a partnership capacity as part of a holistic health and wellbeing programme. Your role will be multi-faceted, and you will therefore be flexible and able to offer a variety of SRH interventions in a broad range of settings, to a broad range of young people.

First, you will provide brief interventions in sexual health in an outreach capacity at schools, colleges, universities, leisure centres, youth organisations, and other venues. Here, your primary focus will be to provide basic information about SRH to young people, whilst also encouraging them to complete a Chlamydia screen and register to the free condom scheme. You will also promote online testing for those aged over 18, and connect young people with other local sexual health services through referral and signposting.

Second, you will deliver SRH and relationships training to groups of young people and professionals, in smaller workshop settings as well as to larger groups. You will be able to deliver accurate information on a variety of topics that are often sensitive and complex. You will have an existing knowledge base that you will be willing to expand and solidify through a combination of supported training and independent learning.

Third, you will facilitate offsite drop-in sexual health sessions and offer 1:1 sexual health support to young people who attend any of the four Young Greenwich youth groups. You and your team will each be responsible for attending the four Young Greenwich hubs once each week during evening hours, working closely with the youth group leader as well as the young people themselves to establish trusted relationships and an engaging programme of activity. You will be proactive and creative at integrating sexual health to other, ongoing activities, and ensure effective safeguarding.

Additionally, you will work closely with the wider SHO team, including supporting the sexual health phone lines processing screening results, and where necessary, signposting to relevant services. Across all aspects of your role, you promote local sexual health and contraception services to young people and adults alike, referring to in-person or online services as appropriate and handholding as much or as little as needed, particularly to those most vulnerable. You will keep accurate monitoring records for all interactions, referrals, Chlamydia screens, and C Card registrations / distributions. You will also contribute to quarterly service review reports.

This role requires flexibility, working unsociable hours in the evenings, and occasional weekends. Schedules may vary from week to week depending on programme need.

Digital Marketing Manager - Maternity Cover

Contract: Fixed Term Contract, Full Time, 35 hours per week

Location: London, UK subject to the right to work.

The Digital and Content Manager is responsible for the development and execution of BeyondAutism’s digital strategy, ensuring all online content and campaigns support the organisation’s strategic goals. About the role

Channel ownership and development

• Develop and execute a digital and content strategy that aligns with BeyondAutism’s overall marketing objectives.

Location: Hybrid – NASP have an office space at London's Southbank Centre which can be used by staff at any time. The role will be expected to work up to 2 days per week in the office with the remainder at home. There may also be additional occasional travel required for staff days and other events.

Purpose of This Role: 

Reporting to the Head of Communications, the role will provide support for a range of Comms functions across the organisation, particularly NASP’s social media, website, newsletter, CRM, and video & graphic design. 

Person Specification: 

Experience & Knowledge: 

• Knowledge and experience of Facebook, Instagram, X, You Tube and LinkedIn platforms, including the creation of organic content and paid for campaigns

• Ability to write, proofread and edit copy to a high standard for a wide range of audiences

• Experience of website management and maintenance 

• Ability to synthesise complex information into simple but accurate content

• Ability to design and create strong visual content suitable for different social media channels and a range of audiences, using Canva or similar programmes 

• Team-player who shares their knowledge and supports colleagues 

• Proactive and organised self-starter able to use their own initiative and make tasks their own 

Skills & Attributes: 

• Affinity with NASP’s Values as defined in the NASP Strategic Plan 

• Video editing skills

• Experience of working on a behaviour-change campaign aimed at the public 

• Experience working with Hootsuite or a similar platform

• Knowledge of Google Analytics

• Experience working with Umbraco or Wordpress 

• Experience of working with a Customer Relationship Management system (CRM) or Microsoft Dynamics

• Knowledge of best Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) practices 

• Understanding of social prescribing and the work of the National Academy for Social Prescribing 

Responsibilities: 

• Develop and execute NASP’s social media plan, ensuring that activity aligns with the organisation’s strategic priorities, and to develop a holistic social media approach based on organisational objectives 

• Support the Head of Communications on website development and management, such as updating, editing and improving pages, using a CMS, sourcing content and ensuring accessibility 

• Lead on NASP newsletter communications, developing customer journeys through the CRM and implementing effective segmentation of audiences and messages

• Lead on internal communications by writing and sending a weekly staff email, updating the intranet

• Generate case studies and other content across all digital channels and to proactively contribute to the editorial calendar, ensuring relevant content is promoted at the optimal time on the most effective channels

• Collating and designing documents such as evidence reviews and reports

• Engage and respond to social media engagements, proactively reaching out and creating opportunities 

• Management of the central communications and enquiries inboxes, responding to and triaging enquiries from external and internal sources

• Create videos and graphics highlighting NASP’s work, and support the creation of videos and podcasts featuring NASP’s ambassadors and projects

• Lead on evaluating impact of social media and related activity and recommending action to take to maximise achievement of objectives

• Grow NASP’s online presence, and to scope further opportunities in line with the business objectives 

• Work with colleagues to deliver NASP’s webinar programme

• Work with Programmes and Corporate Affairs teams to promote NASP’s events, coordinating social media marketing, and to provide administrative support for events when required 

• Administrative support for the Communications team, as required 

• Update NASP’s CRM as required 

Reporting To: Head of Communications  

Salary: £45,000 per annum

Our office is a short walk from King’s Cross station in London. Our expectation for this role is that you will come to London 1 or 2 days each week for meetings, including a quarterly ‘all staff’ event. You may also be required to visit member hospices or suppliers from time to time. You can choose where to work for the rest of the time, in the office or remotely (home or another appropriate location). We encourage all colleagues to visit member hospices to help inform our work and you may be able to work from there.

Contractually this role is London-based.

Contract: Fixed term for 24 months, full time.

Job Information

As Data Programme Manager, you’ll use your project and programme management skills to successfully deliver projects which improve Hospice UK’s data capabilities. You don’t need to have technical data skills, but you’ll need to be able to guide technical colleagues and third-party IT and data providers.

Your main project will produce a new Member Data Portal, enabling over 200 member hospices to submit data and view insights and analysis that informs their service offer, whilst also providing a national view of hospice care that Hospice UK will use to support member hospices with national campaigning and fundraising.

Alongside this, you will lead data projects that improve our internal performance management. This will involve working with colleagues to gather requirements and develop reporting that supports effective decision making, developing new policies and procedures, and providing training.

Excellent stakeholder management skills will be key to your success. Working with representatives from our member hospices will be vital to the success of the Member Data Portal project. Internally, you’ll collaborate with colleagues at all levels, including the ICT and Data team who will provide technical expertise, and senior managers who will be customers for many of the projects. You’ll also work with external suppliers of technical products and services, including carrying out procurements where needed.

You’ll have great project management skills, which means you’ll be organised, structured and a pragmatic problem solver. Ideally, you’ll have experience of delivering technology, digital or data projects.
