You will be responsible for delivering the stewardship programme for high-value donors, with a series of communications and events touch points to meet the needs of potential and current supporters.
As Philanthropy Engagement Co-ordinator, your work will ensure donors feel connected to and inspired by the charity.
You will be responsible for delivering a series of high profile, high value and exciting stewardship and fundraising events including carol concerts, dinners, receptions, garden parties and lunches, at a variety of luxury venues and at Maggie’s centres.
As part of this team, you will be responsible for raising capital and revenue funds to support Maggie’s network of centres across the UK. You will work with the wider Trusts & Philanthropy team to help coordinate local engagement events and you will also have the opportunity to work with other teams in Maggie’s to create innovative new events.
The post holder must be prepared to travel throughout London and occasionally throughout the rest of the UK and to work varying hours including occasional evenings, weekends and possibly overnight stays.

The Role

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Dual Diagnosis Peripatetic Worker to work in the community as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
The Dual Diagnosis Peripatetic Worker will support service users dealing with complex co-existing mental health and substance use conditions. A dedicated pathway of care will enable collaborative delivery of support by multi-agency teams in response to their needs in order to create & deliver combined treatment plans which are appropriate & effective in addressing their substance misuse issues.
This role is peripatetic, primarily based at the Barnsley Street 24/7 Community Mental Health Project, a pilot initiative in Tower Hamlets. It operates within a ‘No Wrong Door’ approach, ensuring fully integrated, community-based care, where individuals can access the right support regardless of how they engage with services.
Full Time Hours: 37.5 per week
Full Time Salary Range: £27,449.52 - £31,529.41 (pro rata for part time hours)
Allowances: Inner London Weighting £4072.06 (paid pro rata)
Contract: This is a fixed term contract that ends on 31st March 2026.
Responsibilities
About The Role:
- Identify, and engage with, people who have substance misuse problems with complex physical and / or mental health needs, including co-morbidity. Providing advice, support and recovery focused structured clinical and/or psychosocial interventions to support recovery and primary health care needs
- Carry out comprehensive assessments and develop recovery plans that clearly identify how they will enable progression in addressing substance use and re/integrating into the community
- Support the development of service based recovery communities
- Further develop CGL’s links with local recovery groups / mutual aid groups
- Help individuals to develop recovery resources and access peer and mutual support groups to develop their own recovery capital
- Work towards understanding the barriers and gaps for different community groups and compile findings as part of a continuous needs’ assessment for this changing client population
About you:
- Experience of working with substance misuse/Mental Health issues and a clear understanding of the need for and ability to deliver quality services
- A clear understanding of issues relating to underrepresented groups in drug services
- Knowledge of the issues facing substance misuser's including appropriate medical interventions, social care, and health issues
- Knowledge and experience of multi-agency working and establishing partnerships with other professions to achieve good outcomes for the service user group, e.g. mental health services, criminal justice agencies, community groups, etc

Specific responsibilities
An applicant appointed to the role will be expected to:
- Programme leadership - To lead the continued strategic development and coordination of the Future Generations Work Programme across CSE; to ensure that all staff are able and encouraged to engage young people in their work; to maintain a portfolio of youth focused projects which provide opportunities for young people to develop capabilities for effectively participating in the energy system transition.
- Development – To pro-actively lead the development of innovative and impactful project ideas and funding proposals for the Future Generations programme, and work with the Development and Communications teams to build and manage the relationships, evidence, and plans necessary to secure investment.
- Representation – To provide inspiration and practical guidance both internally and externally (through targeted public speaking, network-building and online media) for the better inclusion of future generations in sustainability and resilience planning; aligning the Future Generation’s programme with CSE’s strategic objectives and fostering a culture of innovation, ownership, and excellence.
- Team and project management – To take responsibility for the planning and overall delivery of Future Generations projects: ensuring that the Future Generations team is well-resourced, highly motivated, and continuously developing their skills, and that project teams are well-led, efficiently coordinated, effectively using CSE systems and processes, and able to deliver work on time, to budget and to client/donor expectations. Provide mentoring to junior members of the LACE team and provide effective and timely senior management support to contribute to overall team wellbeing and cohesion.
- Safeguarding – to act as a safeguarding lead for our work with children and young people. This includes supporting the handling of any handling of reports or concerns (in conjunction with CSE’s dedicated safe guarding officer); pro-actively working to ensure that risks are well understood and managed; keeping policies and procedures up to date; ensuring that safeguarding is prioritized and that expectations of staff, volunteers, trustees, student placements, agency workers and sub-contractors are clear and adhered to.

Main Purpose of the Job:
We are looking for someone with drive and determination to increase our income to support our strategic development and growth plans. This is a broad fundraising position that will work with a range of supporters and partners from different sectors.
You will manage a portfolio of corporate and business partners and deliver excellent account management to ensure key income targets are met and exceeded. You will also manage our individual giving programme, both ad-hoc and regular giving, and will define a stewardship and retention programme to endeavour to keep supporters giving on a long-term basis. Purpose of Post
The Membership and Events Lead will play a pivotal role in our membership programme and the events calendar that supports our membership offering. Key Responsibilities
Events
· In collaboration with the Membership and Events Manager and the wider team, work towards the successful delivery of a calendar of events, taking ownership and accountability of any assigned events.
· Help to develop the sponsorship pipeline for key events in collaboration with other key members of the Income Generation team to ensure all opportunities for sponsorship are maximised.
· Conduct research and planning for UK events, covering areas such as venues, suppliers, routes and risk assessments.

About the Role
Reporting to the Senior Fundraising Manager, the Fundraising Stewardship Manager sits within the Communications, Engagement and Fundraising team. We are looking for an experienced, fundraising professional to join our team, to help us identify, approach and cultivate relationships with key individuals and organisations.
The role involves developing plans that feed into the USPG fundraising strategy to increase engagement from mid-level donors, trusts, legacy pledgers and high value donors. Managing income and expenditure budgets, ensuring all activity meets income targets and expenditure remains on budget. We are seeking two individuals to offer proactive support and information to UCL students who have experienced sexual violence, sexual harassment, gender-based violence and domestic abuse at any point in their lives. The Office for Students have recently introduced a new condition of registration for universities in relation to harassment and sexual misconduct (Condition E6) and this condition with come into force on 1 August 2025. The Advice Service offers a non-judgmental, safe and confidential space for students to seek advice and these Advisors will empower students to make informed choices regarding reporting options and support they wish to access, either through the university or external services.
The role is a full time and permanent contract. This role is also a hybrid working role, where 40% of the role will be on campus based. We will consider applications to work on a part-time, flexible, and job share basis wherever possible.

To provide executive assistance and support to enable the Chief Executive and Senior Leadership Team to work more effectively. This will include support on organisational governance, including the effective operation of the Board of Trustees and its associated subgroups and to act as a key conduit for external communication with the Chief Executive, the Director of Development and External Affairs and other directors – specifically in relation to our policy and influence work.
Pay and conditions
• The role is a permanent full-time position (37.5 hours per week). Option for applicants to propose part-time hours – more information can be found on ‘Information for applicants’ document.
• The salary for the role will be £34,788 - £41,669, the applicant should expect to find themselves towards the middle of the range following successful completion of their 6-month probationary period.

Specific responsibilities
An applicant appointed to the role will be expected to:
• Undertake a variety of tasks to manage demand and help prioritise the CEO’s time, including proactive diary management, managing emails, composing and preparing (sometimes confidential) correspondence, arranging travel and briefing on upcoming commitments and responsibilities in advance of meetings.
• Similarly, provide support to the Director of Development & External Affairs and other directors in managing external contacts associated with our policy and influence work, including scheduling, supporting and arranging travel for external meetings with government officials, MPs and partners, and assisting in responding to (sometimes confidential) correspondence.
• Support the CEO in managing the Board of trustees and its two subgroups (Finance subgroup and the People Sub-group). This will include supporting the CEO in forward planning and agenda setting for meetings, scheduling meetings, confirming attendees, organising catering, supporting the CEO and Directors in the preparation of papers, ensuring meetings run smoothly as hybrid format and minute taking.
• Supporting the Director of Finance and Operations (who is currently Company Secretary) to ensure statutory Centre for Sustainable Energy 2024 registers (for Companies House and the Charity Commission) are maintained and statutory returns and forms are filed in a timely manner to ensure legal and regulatory compliance (including collecting required annual returns from all directors and trustees).
• Support the CEO and chair of trustees in ensuring the development and maintenance of good governance practice, including regular Trustee skills audits, Trustee recruitment, induction & training, maintenance of trustee tenures and review of relevant governing documents including Board and Sub-group Terms of Reference documents.
