Freshwater Habitats Trust is a friendly, well respected conservation charity that works to protect freshwater wildlife through practical, evidence-based and effective nature conservation projects. We are now recruiting for this post: Engagement Officer in the New Forest National Park.
The role will focus on the delivery of community and stakeholder engagement across the Climate Action Fund project, YouCan, a climate action scheme, with a focus on connecting young people to nature and helping communities across the region tackle the climate and nature crisis.
The role will also cover engagement activities under the Species Survival Fund, another partnership scheme, with a focus on action to halt species decline by restoring habitats back to the landscape.
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who will deliver a programme of activities and events, citizen science surveys as well as delivering an awareness campaign to engage local communities and visitors in the protection of the New Forest’s freshwater and coastal habitats.

Job Purpose
This role is within our crisis alternative emergency department (ED) service, which is an out of hours service providing a safe and welcoming space for people who present at A&E, feeling distressed and experiencing crisis. The service will work collaboratively with hospital Psychiatric Liaison Team (LPS) to ensure those in crisis are supported by the appropriate team. The service will operate 365 days a year from 5pm-1am across three ED’s in West London.
Staff within the service will triage, assess and provide face-to-face support to anyone who is experiencing mental health crisis. This will be person-centred and will be in various forms of de-escalation support; practical, emotional support, grounding techniques, safety planning, care/action planning etc. Staff within the service will work alongside LPS and escalate if clinical intervention is required. Staff will also actively participate in MDT discussions for frequent attenders and take a key role in initiating and promoting alternative crisis support in the aim of preventing A&E use. Staff in our Safe Space ED service are required to have experience in a mental health clinical setting (such as inpatient, A&E, or other clinical setting) however, they do not need to hold a clinical qualification for this role.
The Role
The role of the crisis practitioner will be to work collaboratively with LPS and service users to de-escalate crises in ED. The role will also involve triaging and assessing all clients accessing the service, alongside LPS. The crisis practitioner’s duty will be to de-escalate low/moderate mental health and social needs and deliver collaborative self-management plans with service users to improve mental wellbeing and reduction in A&E attendance. The crisis practitioner will also be responsible for linking in and signposting follow up support with our community Safe Space team. This role does not include clinical intervention. The crisis practitioner will be required to raise and follow up on safeguarding concerns, with support by the Team Manager.
Person Specification
- Minimum of 2 years working in clinical mental health services or settings
- Minimum of 2 years supporting clients experiencing severe mental health distress and crisis
- Minimum of 2 years supporting clients with moderate/severe mental health

Main purpose of the role:
As Team Leader you will line manage a team of adult social care Support Workers who support adults with learning disabilities, in a supported Living house.
The Team Leader supports the Registered Care Manager in creating and promoting community and a sense of home, leading the service delivery in line with L’Arche values, traditions and standards, and the requirements of the Care Quality Commission [CQC].
As our Team Leader, you will be responsible for the smooth and safe running of one of our supported living houses. This will include managing and creating the monthly rotas, updating and managing digital care plans and risk assessments, supporting and supervising assistants (including inducting new team members). About SCEC
SCEC was founded over twenty years ago to provide learning enrichment opportunities to primary school children in disadvantaged communities in south London. Together with our partners, several leading independent schools, we currently operate four schemes in math, literacy, science and art. Your Role
The Scheme Director is a newly created role that will be pivotal in helping SCEC extend its reach. Reporting to the Board of Trustees, you will help SCEC design and implement an expansion programme as well as coordinating the delivery of the existing schemes via our school partners. Aid Box Community (ABC) is a Bristol charity that provides hope, love and a sense of belonging to people seeking asylum in Bristol. The charity was started 7 years ago on the Refugee camps in France by a local mum and has grown and evolved to support over 5000 people a year through our Free Shop and Welcome Hub, Activity Groups and Trips and Connections Befriending program. We have 336 volunteers and a fantastic, small team and we are looking for a part time Finance Officer.
The job is for 15hrs a week ideally to be worked over 2 or 3 days Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Based at the ABC office, Portland Square, Bristol and some home working on agreement.

Job Description:
The Finance Officer will have a wide variety of financial management and control tasks from day to day bookkeeping to filing year end accounts. They will formally report to the Director of Strategy and liaise regularly with the Board Treasurer.
Role Overview
The Finance Officer is responsible for the smooth running of all day-to-day aspects of the financial management of Aid Box Community (ABC):

Provide a high quality and effective financial management and Bookkeeping service to the charity

Prepare, develop and analyse management accounting information and reports, including a standard suite of monthly reports and ad-hoc reports as required by the Charity

Ensure compliance with all relevant financial statutory and regulatory matters relevant to the Charity

Liaison with the external Auditor in preparing and getting approval and sign off of the annual statutory accounts
Key responsibilities:
The postholder will advise the charity on all matters relating to the finance of the organisation and provide management information for the Board of trustees. They will also be expected to contribute to future strategy, business planning, year-end accounts, monitoring of budgets and performance, and full adherence to al financial policies and procedures in accordance with the Finance Manual. Financial Management
Accountancy and Bookkeeping Systems
Maintenance of all accounting records on an ongoing basis to include:

· Monitor the budget against actual and investigate any major variations in budget.

Reports
Produce regular management information so that key officers and trustees know how well the charity is performing against its budget. To include:

Due to expanding projects and workloads, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an Administrator and Personal Assistant to the Senior Development Manager within our Transforming Churches and Communities (TCC) team.
You will have excellent organisational skills and be able to support the team in developing missional plans, project work and operational support for charities, communities and religious societies. We work predominantly with the Methodist Church of Great Britain, although not exclusively.
You will have outstanding administrative skills and be able to self-motivate and prioritise your workload. You will normally be working without direct supervision, so being able to work independently is essential.
We are a small team, with big ambitions to enable and support those communities who need us. We support projects of all shapes and sizes including helping churches decide their future, providing funding searches, advice and training, managing all sorts of projects from starting a playgroup to merging societies, governance advice and much more. We are currently bidding for several large-scale projects which will excite and motivate the right individual.
The post is full-time (35 hours/week) and the annual salary is £25,485. We are based in Manchester and work on projects throughout the Northwest and sometimes further afield. We are looking for a Business Support Assistant to join our team in Wales. This is a 12-month fixed term appointment to cover maternity leave. It is a part-time post (equivalent to 3 days per week).

Working in collaboration with colleagues, you will deliver a range of service activities including coordinating meetings and helping organise events, fulfilling travel booking and accommodation requests.

You will be responsible for the pipeline of projects in Anglesey, understanding and responding to the different needs of our customers by providing advice and considered feedback, and be willing to have challenging but constructive conversations. Funding Officers will ensure our grant management and assessment play an effective part in contributing to the Fund’s knowledge and learning as a grant maker. You will manage your own caseload, liaise with grant recipients, undertake project visits, identify and manage risk, supporting organisations to deliver their projects and measure their impact.
The ability to communicate in Welsh fluently and confidently is essential for this role.

The Trustees of St Neots Foodbank are looking for a new Foodbank Manager to join our amazing team of volunteers. We are a community-led operation that is based on, shaped, and guided by Christian principles. We believe no-one in our community should have to face going hungry.
St Neots Foodbank was founded ten years ago by the town’s churches; and is part of the Trussell Trust network and is still managed by trustees from those churches. At St Neots Foodbank we have our own warehouse and run four distribution centres across St Neots each week; all currently staffed by over 70 volunteers.
We are looking for
As Operations Manager, you will oversee the operations at St Neots Foodbank, giving particular attention to operational efficiency and standards in line with the terms of the franchise, including the implementation of existing policies and standard operating processes. You will be instrumental in enabling our Foodbank to continue to support our community and support and guide its future development.
Our ideal candidate will have relevant experience and be able to demonstrate great leadership qualities to build strong teams based on trust and understanding. Self-motivation, organisation and excellent interpersonal skills will be essential for this role. We are looking for an individual who is in sympathy with Christian values, and who has the ability to work empathetically with people from disadvantaged, marginalised, or socially excluded backgrounds.
