ActionAid UK is looking for a dynamic and strategic leader to helm our Legacy & In Memory Fundraising programme. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced fundraising professional to lead innovative campaigns that will strengthen ActionAid UK’s mission to support women and girls living in poverty.
In this role, you will drive the development and execution of a forward-thinking strategy that ensures the growth of our legacy income for years to come. There are exciting times ahead as we finalise our Legacy and In Memory strategy through 2025 and craft a new roadmap for the future. Collaborating with Smee and Ford, we are diving deep into strategic planning sessions fuelled by crucial data insights, with a strong emphasis on enhancing our digital marketing strategy.
In parallel, we are fully engaged in advancing our CRM development project and fostering cross-federation collaborations. Additionally, we are in the process of creating a new legacy propensity model to drive impactful decision-making. Utilising valuable insights, we are shaping a compelling business case for introducing a new in-memory fundraising product, such as a tribute fund platform.
Moreover, in close partnership with our Legacy Case Administration Specialist, we are designing an extensive Scheme of Delegation for legacy case administration at AAUK.
As a key member of the Public Fundraising team, you’ll lead and inspire your team, ensuring they are equipped to deliver exceptional results. Your role will involve managing budgets, monitoring trends, and overseeing the execution of impactful stewardship campaigns. Key Responsibilities
Support the Social Media Manager to deliver an exceptional experience for our audiences across our social media channels.
· Manage day-to-day organic social media activity across 3 charity brands, including the creation of basic static and video content and daily community management.
· Manage the social media content calendar, including brainstorming meetings and identifying key awareness days, to ensure that we’re posting regular highly engagement content.
· Use social media analytics to embed regular reporting through weekly and monthly updates.
· With the support of the social media manager, develop organic social content to support strategic and fundraising goals.
· Work with a wide variety of colleagues from different areas of the charity and our partners to ensure social media supports their objectives.

Experience:
· Experience running and managing a busy content calendar, including brainstorming meetings.
· Experience creating static and video content for social media channels including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
· Experience working with different teams to create content which meets different goals.
· Experience of community management, engaging with supporters to make them feel appreciated and representing the brand online.
Skills, abilities and knowledge:
· Experience using social media scheduling tools such as Sprout Social or Hootsuite to manage content.
· Excellent editorial and copy writing skills with a knowledge of plain English communications and strong attention to detail.
· Experience writing in different tones of voice is key; ideally experience working across multiple brands at the same time.
· Experience in using data to make informed decisions, ideally with experience of using social media and Google Analytics.

Harrow Club is a place for firsts. A first trip to the beach, a night-time walk in the woods, an overnight stay without parents and, for some, the first place where a child really feels at home and that they have a home. Person Specification - Qualifications and Skills

The Vacancy
The Methodist Church is at an exciting point in the development of its ministry with young adults (18-30). We are seeking to appoint someone with enthusiasm and passion for seeing young adults connect with God and explore their calling as a follower of Christ.
This role is integral to the delivery of the Young Adult Ministry Development Plan, and will focus on the following priorities:
- The management, development and advocacy of a new Young Adult Mission Placement Scheme, which aims to provide opportunities for young adults to be employed (or volunteer) in mission-focused placements in local churches and circuits where they can explore their vocation.
- Advocating for, supporting and enabling creative and relevant young adult ministry to be started and embedded in circuits and districts by journeying with local circuits/districts, providing advice and mentoring as appropriate to pilot creative projects for young adults to engage with and grow in discipleship and vocation.
An enhanced DBS disclosure will be required for this role, the cost of which will be incurred by the Methodist Church.

The calling of the Methodist Church is to respond to the gospel of God's love in Christ and to live out its discipleship in worship and mission.
Job Purpose: To work, under supervision, delivering evidence-based interventions for children and young people experiencing mild-moderate anxiety, low mood and behavioural difficulties. This will involve working individually with children or young people (5-18 years) and involving their parent(s)/caregivers as appropriate, offering psychoeducation workshops and co-facilitating therapeutic groupwork. Trainee Children’s Wellbeing Practitioners (CWPs) will be expected to integrate into YMCA East Surrey’s Emotional Wellbeing and Mental Health (EWMH) team and to support all early intervention work.
This Trainee Children's Wellbeing Practitioner role includes completion of the Child Wellbeing Practice Postgraduate or Graduate level Diploma run by the University of Sussex, which follows the nationally agreed curriculum to qualify as a Children's Wellbeing Practitioner. This year the course will run from 7th Jan 2025, for 12 months, with 2 taught days at university per week, with some university holiday weeks built in, followed by time to consolidate skills and meet the final academic deadline for the course in January 2026. The teaching is a blend of in-person and online, with the majority of teaching in-person.
Participation in this course involves learning the theory, and then translating this into practice in your service and covers a wide range of materials over 8 taught modules. There are a variety of assessment modes to assess the required knowledge and competencies. This training equips the student to acquire relevant knowledge to be an effective community mental health professional, working with children, young people, and their parents/carers. It provides the trainee with the opportunity to gain competence in the core skills needed to assess and formulate mild to moderate mental health difficulties with children and young people (CYP), before being able to then learn the skills to work with them, using a specific cognitive-behaviourally informed therapeutic intervention to meet the identified mental health need.
The trainee will learn therapeutic interventions to use 1:1 with children and young people and in group settings; ways to work with parents and carers of CYP with anxiety and worry, or those with behaviours that challenge; how to engage CYP, parents/carers and staff working with CYP in psychoeducation workshops to promote mental wellbeing for CYP. Students will also learn the thresholds for guided self-help for CYP, direct low-intensity intervention work, and when to refer on to other services within the local area.
Hours of work:Full time - 35 hours per week
Working Pattern: 9:00am – 5:00pm, Monday – Friday (one hour per day for lunch which is unpaid
Contract Type: Fixed term training contract (dependent on completion of the course).
Course to start January 2025 and finish approximately end of January 2026 when all coursework has been completed.
Location: Phoenix Youth Centre, Tadworth, but working across various locations in East Surrey, as necessary.
Attendance at University of Sussex 2 days per week from Jan to October.
Annual leave:Five weeks plus bank holidays (pro-rata for part time workers) Holidays increase after two years’ service to a maximum of six weeks after six years’ service.(pro-rata for part time workers)

Therapeutic skills
· Assess and deliver (under supervision), outcome focused, evidence-based interventions to children and young people experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties.
· Working in partnership, support children, young people experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties and their families in the self-management of presenting difficulties.
· Work in partnership with children, young people and families in the development of plans for the intervention and agreed outcomes.

· Keep coherent records of all activity in line with service protocols and use these records and outcome data to inform decision making. Complete all requirements relating to data collection.
· Assess and integrate issues relating to transitions, education and training/employment into the overall therapeutic process.
· Work within a collaborative approach involving a range of relevant others when indicated.
· Work in collaboration with children, young people and communities to enhance and widen access.
Training and Supervision
· Attend and fulfil all the requirements of the training element of the post including practical, academic and practice-based assessments.
· As well as attendance at the University for training, fulfil private study requirements to enhance learning and prepare assignments for examination - recommendation is 150 hours of study for each of the 8 modules, which includes the teaching days. Some study time within working hours can be negotiated with the manager, whilst it is expected that that study will also need to be completed in own time.
· Apply learning from the training programme to practice.
· Receive tutorial support from educational providers in relation to course work to meet the required standards.
· Prepare and present case load information to supervisors within the service on an agreed and scheduled basis to ensure safe practice and the governance obligations of the trainee, supervisor and service are delivered.
· Respond to and implement supervision suggestions by supervisors in practice.
· Engage in and respond to personal development supervision to improve competences and practice.
Professional
· Ensure the maintenance of standards of practice according to the employer and any regulating bodies and keep up to date on new recommendations/guidelines set by the relevant departments.

The Listening Place offers free, confidential, face-to-face support for people feeling suicidal, provided by highly trained volunteers using active listening skills. Over eight years, the charity has grown rapidly, with now over 800 volunteers delivering up to 150 appointments daily across three sites. TLP receives 750 new referrals every month and will provide support to 8000 people struggling with suicidal feelings this year. This growth, achieved without waiting lists, highlights how TLP balances ambition with a commitment to high-quality, person-centered support. With plans to expand to East London and strong donor and media interest, it’s an exciting time to join this effective, community-led service.
This is a pivotal role where you will be responsible for giving TLP a voice across external and internal communications. Through dependable, precise and creative communications, you will help TLP meet its three key communication objectives:
- To inspire and retain volunteers and supporters.
- To influence public and stakeholder opinion on how to deliver effective suicide prevention services.

Working under the direction of the Head of Fundraising and Communications, the Communications Coordinator will be responsible for the development, delivery, analysis and growth of TLP’s communications through effective copy for internal and external stakeholders. This includes:
- Leading on day-to-day account management and content creation for organic and paid activity on TLP social media channels.
- Planning and executing activities for national campaigns including World Suicide Prevention Day and Mental Health Week.
- Working with and supporting teams from across the organisation to execute engaging internal and external communications and digital campaigns including monthly volunteer and supporter newsletters.
- To act as a point of contact for teams for communications related queries, maintaining a good understanding of approaches, channels and technologies in order to do this.
- Recognise, mitigate and appropriately escalate communications related incidents and risks including reputation management, information governance and sensitivity issues.
- Regularly reviewing website content, looking for ways to constantly improve user experience.
- Compiling regular monthly statistics and analytical reports, evaluating our online performance against agreed metrics.
- Ensure all records are held in compliance with GDPR and the Institute of Fundraising policies.

About the role
As a receptionist, you will be part of Crisis Skylight Brent’s Engagement and Assessment Team, providing a high quality, non-judgemental and safe service to individuals who approach our Skylight Centre. As Communications and Projects Officer – Baby Bank Alliance (BBA), you will have a crucial role in overseeing social, digital, and internal communications for the Baby Bank Alliance and their 170+ member network, as well as supporting other key operational activities.

We are now seeking a Social Media and Digital Assistant who will apply their creativity and digital expertise to deliver high-quality, innovative digital communications for the charity, helping increase Rewilding Britain's reach and impact across social media, email and our website. You will be part of a team with a mission to raise awareness of rewilding and promote Rewilding Britain's campaigns, fundraising appeals, practitioner resources and policy initiatives.

Job purpose:
To engage and motivate our target audiences by delivering Rewilding Britain's social media outputs and assisting with our email campaigns and website content, with a view to continually enhancing our impact.
Line Manager: Digital Communications Lead
Your responsibilities will include:
Social media delivery and community management
- Plan and deliver inspiring and effective social media content, including as part of engagement campaigns, fundraising appeals and initiative launches, and in support of our partners and members.
- Produce text- and video-/graphic-based social media posts and campaigns that are both suited to our target audiences and adapted for the most appropriate social channels.
- Carry out community management across the charity's digital channels, triaging queries and drafting responses.
- Assist with the optimisation of Rewilding Britain's current social media channels and the identification of new opportunities/platforms/trends that would help further our mission.
Email communications
- Support the Communications and Engagement team with the planning, building and scheduling of email communications (campaigns, supporters, fundraising, corporate partners etc) within Mailchimp.
- Assist with the AB testing of our email marketing and executing a plan of continuous improvement for our emails.
- Support with managing our enquiry inboxes as and when required.
Reporting and optimising
- Collate statistics on the performance of our social and email channels, in line with our KPIs, and work closely with the Digital Communications Lead to make ongoing recommendations for our output.
- Implement feedback and lessons learned to refine and improve our social media approach.
- Stay current with sector and specialist trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously grow the effectiveness of our channels, particularly social media.
Communications support
- Take responsibility for triaging internal requests for content output across our channels and coordinate this across the Communications and Engagement team.
- Assist the team in keeping our image library up to date, by uploading and tagging new imagery.
- Support the team by uploading content to Rewilding Britain's website, following best practice. You may also provide support for more involved web optimisation projects.
- Support with the preparation and delivery of online and in-person events. As well as providing social media and email support, this could include representing Rewilding Britain alongside other team members at events, exhibitions, workshops, conferences, rallies and more.
- Contribute to content production across the team, where relevant, such as producing blogs or carrying out image research.
- Support the Communications Team with general administrative tasks where required.
Skills, experience and behaviours
Experience
Essential
- At least two years' experience in a similar digital communications role, delivering successful content across social media and/or email to further organisational objectives.
- Proven experience in managing social media channels in a professional role, including LinkedIn, X, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok, as well as others that might be relevant for Rewilding Britain.
- Experience of reporting on digital communications and campaigns and measuring impact, using analytics tools such as Google Analytics or Plausible and social media management tools such as Hootsuite and Metricool.
Desirable
- Experience working in a sector relevant to rewilding, and understanding of the rewilding movement.
- Experience in producing email communications in a professional environment.
- Experience in managing web content, with an understanding of best practice and familiarity with web content management
Skills
Essential
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for effective engagement.
- Skills in creative content development, such as video creation and editing and producing simple graphics for our channels.
- A thorough understanding of current social and digital communications tools, landscape and trends.

Terms and conditions and staff benefits
The role is a full-time, 5-day-week (35 hours) position.
The salary is £23,000 - £27,000 per annum depending upon experience.
There will be some freedom for the person to determine their own working arrangements each week, within limitations, providing the work is delivered.
Rewilding Britain employees benefit from 25 days annual leave per year (pro rata for part time roles), rising to 30 days over 5 years. A generous employer-matched pension scheme is also available.
We are a virtual team who work from home and/or co-working spaces. We will support you to achieve a suitable virtual working environment. Some meetings are held face to face across Britain, so a willingness to travel with occasional overnight stays is desirable.

Evolve, a leading mental health counselling charity, is seeking a part-time administrator receptionist, to be the first point of contact for clients seeking our non-emergency professional mental health counselling services.
The postholder will manage phone calls and web enquiries through to successful conclusions via our Head of Counselling and their team of over fifty counsellors, creating and maintaining client records with Charitylog – a client records management system.
They will be the key source of information and support for this team of counsellors, who all work remotely currently across greater Cambridgeshire, Northants, and Peterborough areas, making sure they have all necessary support and information for their roles.
Our administrator will also organise and manage all other corporate information for the Trustee Board, the CEO, and their leadership team plus our volunteer staff – building an effective ‘memory’ for Evolve and helping us to grow and support more people.
