About the Role
We are now recruiting for a dedicated Through-the-Gate Project Worker to join our Criminal Justice and Detention Services team. This role will provide specialist support to migrant women being released from prison or detention into the London area and beyond.
The Through-the-Gate Project Worker will act as the main point of contact for referrals for women being released from prison or immigration removal centres. The role will involve managing a caseload of up to 15 migrant women who are in contact with the criminal justice system and / or under immigration restrictions, helping them to prepare for release and supporting them to resettle in the community afterwards.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining effective working relationships with statutory, partner and other voluntary organisations to maximise provision of support for women being released from prison/detention. The post-holder will also work as part of Hibiscus’ Safe Homes for Migrant Women project team, to improve provision of safe and secure housing for Black and minoritised migrant women.
[Please note: Successful candidates will need to have been resident in the UK for a minimum of 3 years to ensure the clearance process is authorised. The post holder will be subject to checks by the Disclosure and Barring Service and HMPPS security vetting]

About You
We are particularly keen to attract talent from Black and minoritised communities and those with lived experience of immigration and/or the criminal justice system.
The successful candidate will have significant experience working directly with women affected by the criminal justice system, the immigration system, or violence against women and girls. Experience working in a prison or detention setting would be an advantage.
They will be able to demonstrate trauma-informed, gender-responsive practice and maintain clear boundaries with clients; managing challenging behaviour with empathy. The successful candidate will have experience of working in partnership with statutory and non-statutory organisations, and proven ability to engage and influence a range of stakeholders.

Joining as Senior Data Insights Manager you will be a core member of the team at Freedom from Torture and will take ownership of the organisation’s data across fundraising, covering all CRM systems (currently ALMS . net and Engaging Networks) to ensure that systems and processes are aligned to the long-term strategic needs of the organisation.
A pivotal role within the organisation you will work closely with colleagues across Fundraising and Communications including Digital, as well as the Finance Team and with external suppliers to develop and deliver analytics.
Key responsibilities within the role include:
- Alongside the Database Officer, responsible for the management, use and maintenance of fundraising data
- Responsible for ensuring platforms and data processes keep up with organisational needs
- Identifying positive change initiatives and leading data transformation which will positively impact wider teams
- Streamlining existing data processes and implementing new processes
- Producing and reviewing database project plans to ensure data cleanliness, and liaising with colleagues to encourage engagement and compliance with data best practice
- Work with senior colleagues to ensure that Freedom from Torture has the insights and data to make informed decisions on fundraising and engagement activities
- Proactively advising colleagues on potential improvements to segmentation, selections and testing guided by market trends and new technology that will maximise engagement
- Supported by a Data and Payments Officer, ensure audience appropriate regular reporting is delivered accurately and on time
- Responsible for the storage and use of supporter data, including the management of risk and recovery plans and data security, working closely with colleagues in ICT

We would love to hear from you if you have the following skills and experience:
- High level of expertise using CRM and SRM systems within a charitable environment
- Experience managing an income generating CRM, in a charity setting, ideally generating £5 million per annum plus
- Experience of managing complex data management systems incorporating multiple platforms
- Solid experience using data handling tools such as Power BI, SQL and statistical tools
- Proven ability to interpret large sets of data and to spot trends and patterns (e.g. in giving history or opt out behaviour)
- Experience of data base targeting, segmentation, testing and response analysis to drive strategic fundraising decisions
- Experience of managing projects which involve multiple deadlines and stakeholders
- Ability to devise and implement real world data testing strategies across multiple channels
- Expert understanding of data protection legislation, ideally including the Fundraising Code of Practice

The Job
The Technical Lead (SRM Capacity Strengthening) will bring extensive practical experience in NGO Security Risk Management (SRM) and training design and delivery to the GISF team.
This is a key role in disseminating knowledge generated through GISF’s network of more than 130 members. Your primary responsibility will be to lead the development and delivery of virtual and in-person trainings and workshops to enhance the SRM capacity of GISF Members and the wider NGO sector. These activities will range from addressing strategic topics for senior SRM leaders to promoting best practices in operational coordination.
Global travel will be required, up to 25% of the year.
Drawing on your expertise, you will ensure GISF’s products and services remain relevant and impactful. This includes leading the creation and regular updating of technical guides and developing practical tools based on GISF research for our Members and NGOs worldwide.
You will work closely with GISF’s Technical Lead (SRM and Coordination), collaborating to meet the needs of Members and the NGO community.

Research, Guides and Training
- Lead the development and delivery of trainings and workshops to strengthen Members’ and other NGOs’ SRM capacity, leveraging GISF’s technical guides, research, and projects.
- Responsible for the design and update of training material and contextualization based on the target audienc

The main purpose of the Senior Partnerships Manager role is to lead on the delivery of first-class account management and development of corporate partnerships that maximise impact and income for Breaking Barriers. Ideally, the successful candidate will also have line management experience and the ability to develop talent within the team. Dad Matters Surrey (a Home-Start Surrey Project) exists to support dads to have the best possible relationship with their families. We do this by providing 1:1 and group peer support, helping Dads make sense of parenthood, and providing or signposting Dads to mental health support and access to relevant services. Working closely with other professionals, we are able to better support dads in the first 1001 days of their parenting journey.
Alongside the steering group, the Project Lead will be responsible for recruiting a team of volunteers (and eventually staff) to expand the project, and will play a key role in awareness, fundraising, and support provision. The right candidate will be able to articulate a strategic plan, identify the steps necessary to make that plan a reality, and action those steps. They will need to be passionate about Men’s Mental Health and exude that passion into the project.
The right candidate will be able to juggle multiple responsibilities around service setup and delivery and forward planning, managing the day-to-day but also seeing the bigger picture. You will be good at working with others, ready to speak up and ask questions, be thoughtful and open to learning.

This project is funded by the Government's Species Survival Fund. The fund was developed by Defra and its Arm's-Length Bodies. It is being delivered by The National Lottery Heritage Fund in partnership with Natural England and the Environment Agency. “Bogs and Bitterns: Somerset Wetland restoration is one of twenty schemes being funded across the country. Within our project area we aim to deliver 50 hectares of wetland habitat restoring and expanding to improve and create quality ‘stepping stone’ sites of high quality biodiversity and to enable species abundance across the wider county. We are looking for an individual with both hands on experience of delivering nature conservation work and project management expertise.
As Species Survival Project Fund Coordinator, you will have two main areas of work. The main part of the role is to provide project management and co-ordination of the Species Survival Fund project, ensuring we are on track, including meeting budget requirements, collating information and reporting as required, and providing line manager support to the project Ecologist. The second part of the role is to also to work on the development of specific species and habitat works at the Brides Mound and St Brigid’s Chapel site in Glastonbury; here SWT is working in close co-operation with the Friends of Brides Mound and Southwest Heritage Trust and is funded by the Glastonbury Town Deal Fund.
Key Responsibilities and Tasks
Responsibility 1: Manage the Project
- Share knowledge and expertise by:
- Providing project management and coordination and building relationship with key stakeholders.
- Ensuring concise information gathering and reporting for the Species Survival Fund project.
- Providing and sharing expertise on species survival, whilst coordinating evidence and monitoring of the project.
- Undertaking a wide range of complex, technical and professional tasks in differing situations, with a degree of personal responsibility and autonomy. It is important to be able to work both alone and as a member of the team.
- Adopting environmentally friendly working practices, setting, and maintaining high personal standards of efficiency and customer care and fostering a ‘can do’ culture based on ownership, initiative, teamwork, and exchange of information. Provide leadership and support by:
- Providing direct line management to the Species Survival Fund Project Ecologist to ensure best practice and to drive the project forward.

- Contributing to discussions, workstreams and providing support to the developing St Brigid’s Chapel and Brides Mound Project.
- Leading on working with other partners to design and implement habitat works across this landholding.
- Enabling the development of volunteering and training opportunities with the Friends of Brides Mound so they are resilient as a community to continue managing this land as part of the nature recovery network at the end of current funded works.
- Working in close collaboration with the communications and fundraising teams to promote the project including the production of articles, blogs and social media posts.
General

More in Common is seeking a full-time Research Associate or Research Manager as we grow our team and advance our mission of building a more united and inclusive UK, where all people feel respected, better understood, and share a sense of belonging. More in Common UKis a small team with a start-up culture where everyone is expected to execute a range of responsibilities. The Research Associate or Research Manager will work closely with the UK Team across our core areas of research, communications, partnership, and client work. The role will report to our UK Associate Director. The Research Associate role involves:
Research
● Support and execute a range of quantitative and qualitative research projects for More in Common’s own thought leadership work and our client/partner work

● Analysis, interpretation and manipulation of quantitative data, and willingness to learn how to perform statistical/econometric analysis
● End-to-end project management for quantitative and qualitative public opinion research projects from design, execution (drafting surveys and discussion guides, and with time, moderating focus groups), analysis, report writing and presentation of insights (including data analysis)
● Drafting and co-authoring public-facing research reports for More in Common and reports and briefings for clients and partners
Partnership / Client management:
● Day-to-day support and project management for a range of our client and partner projects
● Identifying new partners, clients, and opportunities across various sectors from business to civil society to the public sector
● Drafting proposals and responding to tenders for those potential partners and clients and supporting on pitches.
● Delivering trainings and briefings for clients and partners drawing on insights from More in Common’s research
● Drafting grant reports and taking responsibility for day-to-day account management on client-facing projects
● Producing timely and high-quality outputs and deliverables as agreed with clients and partners
Comms and dissemination
● Organising in-person panel events and online webinars– including co-ordinating the planning and preparation of More in Common’s programme of Party Conference events.
● Drafting and developing data briefings and press releases for journalists, conducting data checks, and designing and publishing reports on our website
● Drafting op-eds, Twitter threads, blogs and newsletters using More in Common’s insights
● Designing and delivering webinars and short insights products to disseminate our latest insights and research to partners and the wider eco-system
In addition, the Research Manager role involves:
● Overseeing all of More in Common’s research projects, ensuring that projects are delivered on time
● Continually monitoring the quality of our research outputs and experimenting with potential methodological improvements
● Finding new ways to innovate on research products and services, and new technologies and techniques that More in Common could be offering
● Managing the relationship with research vendors, including monitoring quality and value for money
● Training team members in More in Common’s research process, including best-practice for research design as well as our software stack
● Acting as a spokesperson for More in Common’s research by speaking with journalists for print and broadcast media
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

● The ability to write well and at pace for a range of audiences
● An understanding of how to interpret quantitative and qualitative data and to tell a story from that data

● Experience of translating research and insight into products, briefings, and training programmes for a range of partners

As Individual Giving Manager you will be responsible for leading and delivering an annual programme of activity across all aspects of Individual Giving. 2. Summary:

Key responsibilities
