To support the growth in Wild Impact’s conservation and sustainable development impact, it is recruiting a UK based Senior Partnerships Manager, who will be responsible for developing and implementating a UK and W. Europe focused fundraising drive. Expectation is that the successful individual will be able to increase our existing annual fundraising level of ~$750,000 by an additional ~$ 750,000 by 2026, and thereafter increase their personal fundraising contribution by at least 20% per annum.
The successful applicant will report jointly to the Wild Impact South Africa CEO and the Trustees of Africa Foundation (UK) and work closely with the worldwide Wild Impact Fundraising and Partnerships team.
KEY OUTPUTS:
Development and management of a UK and W. Europe based fundraising and partnerships strategy that will enable the implementation of the shared Wild Impact and &Beyond Impact strategy, including:
o The drafting and submission of all project profiles and grant applications.
o Development and dissemination of all donor and partner communications.
o The delivery and progressive improvement of all donor and partner reports.
o Actively engaging with all donors and partners, which will include significant regional and international travelling.

SKILLS REQUIRED

Working with our Communications Co-ordinator you will help to build INTRAC’s profile and position in line with our strategic vision and ambitions. This is a part time role (0.6-0.8 FTE); initially offered as an eighteen month contract with the intention to extend should the role be successful.
We are a remote organisation, with staff working across the UK. Purpose of the post
HDR UK and the BHF Data Science Centre are committed to meaningful involvement and engagement where patients and the public are actively involved in shaping our work and decision-making. Reporting to the Centre’s Operations Director, this is a pivotal role that will be integral to ensuring the patient and public voice is embedded in our work at all stages.
You will work closely with public members, research and NHS communities, internal colleagues, charity partners, and funders to develop and implement plans for PPIE activity across all of our key areas of interest, in addition to the governance of the Centre.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has a passion for meaningful involvement and engagement of patients and the public, to shape and influence our work on the safe, ethical and scientifically robust use of data for research into the causes, prevention and treatment of all diseases of the heart and circulation.

Main responsibilities
Embedding PPIE in our work
- Lead on the delivery of the PPIE strategy for the BHF Data Science Centre, with oversight from the Operations Director, incorporating regular (e.g. annual) reviews and updates of the strategy.
- Lead and facilitate meetings with public contributors to integrate meaningful PPIE throughout all aspects of our work.
- Undertake and manage specific involvement and engagement activities, including but not limited to focus groups, engagement events, developing and undertaking surveys, supporting the writing of plain English summaries of projects and their outputs. In collaboration with senior colleagues, support involvement of patients and the public in the governance of our work.
- Review and provide advice on PPIE elements of research applications ensuring adequate PPIE is incorporated and provide advice where needed to researchers.
- Develop methods to expand reach and ensure diversity of perspectives and work with the HDR UK PPIE team to grow involvement of currently underrepresented and underserved groups in health data science.

Developing PPIE best practice and collaborative working
- Incorporate best practice in our work, learning from examples of successful patient and public engagement that could influence our work
- Provide briefings for colleagues to share best practice and examples of successful patient and public engagement
- Collaborate with PPIE colleagues to coordinate public outreach initiatives and other events, ensuring that stakeholders are afforded opportunities to contribute their input and provide feedback. - Be the point-of-contact for all BHF Data Science Centre public contributors, ensuring they are kept updated, receive all information in a timely manner and that any issues are dealt with in a sensitive manner.
- Lead on the recruitment of new public contributors as required. Adapt, develop and provide training for public contributors where necessary identifying training requirements as needed.

The Fundraising Manager will work closely with the CEO to execute the fundraising strategy for Child’s i Foundation, with a focus on driving regular giving, community fundraising, and individual giving initiatives. Additionally, you will support the CEO in cultivating major gifts and managing corporate partnerships.
You will play a key role in providing collaborative support to our emerging fundraising effort in Uganda, particularly with their innovative 'Giving Circle' programme, which is backed by the Ugandan Board. About the role
You’ll manage, coach and develop a team of eight home based Parkinson’s Local Advisers (PLAs) to deliver a high standard of service across Scotland. Role description
The Communities Lead is a critical role in developing and delivering the Centre for Excellence in Community Investment, facilitating its national and local thematic networks, engaging with colleagues across and beyond the social housing sector and identifying potential opportunities for collaboration. The Maternal Mental Health Alliance (MMHA) was founded in 2011 by people with lived experience, healthcare professionals, and organisations who understood the impact of perinatal mental problems and shared a commitment to improving the lives of women and their families.
Today, the MMHA is a UK-wide charity and network of over 130 member organisations. We work with parents, families, clinicians, and academics to ensure all women, birthing people, babies, and families have access to high-quality, compassionate mental health care. We bring the perinatal mental health community together and make change happen by combining the power of real-life experience with clinical and professional expertise.
We actively contribute to significantly improving mental health outcomes for people who experience discrimination, trauma and deprivation during the perinatal period and tackle systemic inequity and injustice.
We are now seeking a Chief Executive to take over from our interim CEO and lead the MMHA in the next stage of our development.
We have recently been awarded a 5-year grant by the National Lottery Community Fund to tackle maternal mental health inequities through community action. This project, due to start in Spring 2025, will develop, test and replicate a model of community-based decision making, support and service provision that is led by women with lived experience. This project aims to achieve system change locally and nationally to improve the mental health of marginalised women and is the next phase of the MMHA’s programme to tackle maternal mental health inequities across the UK. As The King’s Trust International enters its 10th anniversary year and aims to expand its reach, we have an exciting opportunity that will be pivotal in strengthening the finance function for the charity.
You will be working closely with our Senior Head of Finance and existing Finance Executive to provide support to the charity across all aspects of financial management.
With a particular focus on supporting the fundraising teams and income recognition, this role will work closely with fundraising colleagues to record, analyse and accurately forecast income for King’s Trust International and its newly established trading subsidiary. You will lead on all aspects of management accounting for the trading subsidiary and support with the preparation of the financial statements.
Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to build effective relationships with all colleagues across the organisation and your excellent planning and organisation skills will enable you to prioritise and multitask in this busy and multifaceted role.
