We are looking for an engaging people-focused individual to build relationships with supporters of Surrey Wildlife Trust (SWT). To achieve our mission we need to grow investment in conservation. As Philanthropy Officer you will bring your expertise in Major Gift and Legacy Fundraising to the team at SWT, successfully growing our donor portfolio and cultivating and winning major gifts in line with agreed targets and the Fundraising Strategy.
You will work with the Head of Fundraising and Communications, and colleagues in the fundraising team, and across the Trust to evolve and continuously improve philanthropy activity.
This role is all about long-term relationship-building and will involve engaging with a wide range of supporters of SWT to take them on a journey and achieve key outcomes including;
· Identifying donor segments to tailor activity towards different areas of interest and levels of support
· Cultivating trust in SWT and the way in which it invests funds to restore and protect Surrey’s nature.
· Creating a sustainable pipeline of funding for SWT from major gifts and gifts in Wills.
The role provides an opportunity for an individual with existing experience in philanthropic fundraising to develop and to help shape the philanthropy programme at SWT.
Our offices are in Pirbright, Leatherhead and Wisley and our hybrid working policy aims to provide a good work/life balance which can incorporate partial home working. The Aga Khan Foundation, one of the world’s leading charitable foundations, is looking to strengthen its communications department with a Graphic Design Officer who can elevate AKF’s communications by developing visually powerful graphics to add creativity to AKF’s communications and enrich the stories we tell.
This role will work with the broader communications team to produce visually engaging content for use across AKF’s communications channels and refresh AKF’s brand image.
The person in this role is expected to have formal training in graphic design, experience of developing high quality digital and print graphics and content for social media. Skills in animation, motion graphics and illustration are not required but are desirable.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Produce high quality and visually engaging graphics for use on AKF’s website and social media channels as well as for printed collateral
• Design info-graphics to bring data to life for use across AKF’s various communications products
• Support the communications team to develop creative and engaging content for digital media
• Update AKF’s brand guidelines to ensure they encompass all of AKF’s design touchpoints and ensure communications colleagues know how to apply the guidelines

Digital Fundraising Officer
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the digital marketing team.

The Role
Reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager, the Digital Fundraising Officer will help to maximise income through fundraising appeals, provide beneficiary support and increase supporter retention through digital channels
Key responsibilities will include:
· Plan and implement digital fundraising campaigns

· Work with the Digital Marketing Manager to test and develop new strategies

Overview
The Green Team was founded in 1995 to support young people to succeed in achieving the Duke of Edinburgh award. Since then, the team has grown significantly and now offers nine programmes along with corporate volunteering days and holiday activities. From one member of staff and a few volunteers, we now have 10 staff and over 50 volunteers.
The growth of the team since 1995 has been primarily driven by our current CEO, Penny Radway. The size of the organisation and number of programmes run mean that we believe the time is right to introduce a dual CEO approach. Penny will focus on CEO responsibilities for delivering our programmes.
The role
To co-lead the charity promoting the mission, aims, values and objectives, be directly responsible for specific agreed areas of the charity’s corporate operations while overseeing and ensuring the success of these operations. To increase income generation, specifically unrestricted funds, enhance existing financial controls, and impact reporting. To also ensure there are clear and impactful communications, partnerships and marketing approaches for the development of the Green Team.
Work in partnership with the Co-CEO Programmes to advise the Trustees on the strategic direction of the organisation and to implement Board decisions. To ensure the sustainability of the Green Team, with a focus on increasing unrestricted funds to achieve longevity of the organisation.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Digital Communications Officer to join the New Era team in Staffordshire, working 22.5hrs per week.
The Digital Communications Officer will work alongside our Education, Training and Awareness team to create and publish content on our online platforms to raise awareness of our domestic abuse services for victims and perpetrators and awareness of the impact of domestic abuse on those it affects.

The International Programme Officer will report to our Global Operations Director and will work closely with personnel and partners in different countries where WW supports development programmes, to ensure the work we support is aligned with WW’s strategy, and that the delivery of our work has impact, is on track and is in line with donor agreements and budgets.
Specific responsibilities will include:
1. Programme coordination, monitoring, evaluation, reporting and learning
• Support organisational and programme planning, ensuring alignment with agreed delivery targets, outputs and outcomes.
• Support partners to ensure MEAL systems are effective in tracking, supporting and learning from delivery of workplans.
• Monitor financial and material resources relevant to project needs, flagging any concerns to the line manager and UK Director of Corporate Services.
• Champion learning, supporting teams and partners to analyse, package and deliver learning internally and externally for advocacy and communications, focused on driving system change at scale.
• Proactively seize opportunities and troubleshoot problems that arise in the course of the work. Deliver proactive management interventions that keep work on track and maximise impact.

2. Technical delivery and quality assurance

3. Documentation, learning and advocacy

• Mentor and support teams in documentation, including writing and reviewing high quality, timely reports programme reports that respond to donor requirements and illustrate impact.
• Develop, co-author and disseminate knowledge products, including case studies, training modules, and guidance materials in support of programmes, liaising with the Director of Public and Political Engagement.
• Support our partners to develop powerful evidence-based stories and narratives to engage media, specific targeted groups, our wider networks and new audiences, including press, multi-media and website content.
• Coordinate and support the effective use of Information and Communications Technology across teams.
• Identify opportunities to increase programme visibility and raise the organization’s profile by disseminating results within and beyond the development community and water sector, liaising with the Director of Public and Political Engagement.
4. Organisational development

The job
We’re looking for someone to wear two hats.
The first hat you’ll wear is that of a client lead. You’ll have full responsibility for the clients and projects that you and your team are working on. One day you might be working on ocean policy campaigns, helping technical clients adapt their language to make it engaging and influential, and in doing so helping to push the ocean agenda forward. The next you could be working with a not-for-profit, leading the creation of their brand identity, marketing strategy and overseeing the launch of their new website.
We’re on the hunt for a seasoned communications strategist and a creative campaigner. You’ll be someone who feels at home bringing your knowledge and experience to any communications challenge: from campaign strategy to brand strategy, from policy communications to digital marketing.
You should be a creative thinker, a problem solver, and someone who knows how to run projects profitably – and grow client relationships at the same time. You’ll be able to build relationships quickly, with clients and colleagues. You’ll spot mistakes, tactfully ask difficult questions, and tell us and our clients how to improve things.
The second hat you’ll wear is that of a new business lead. You’ll work with the CEO, Head of Strategy and other colleagues to identify, respond to, and win new business opportunities. We’re looking for someone who has directly relevant experience here – so you’ll have had experience in new business for an agency or consultancy, or have supported that function.
You’ll have experience responding to RFPs (and hopefully winning them – definitely tell us if you have a good hit rate), you’ll be excited by the idea of travelling abroad to give presentations to prospects and convert them to clients, and you’ll have ideas about how we can improve our marketing to generate more inbound leads. Where some see new business efforts as taxing and draining, you’ll be energised by it, and see new business as a game that is fun to play, and win.
Key skills and experience
The core things we are looking for are:
- Minimum 6 years experience, with at least three years in an equivalent agency setting
- Have communications expertise in creating stories, shaping narratives and social/policy campaigns and/or public affairs
- Experience and expertise in brand communications and/or strategy development
- Ability to produce creative and engaging communication materials: reports, websites, social media and print

New business & sales

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Programme Coordination and Project Delivery
- To work closely with the Director of Strategy and Programmes to coordinate and support the delivery of all our programmes to achieve the outputs and outcomes agreed with our funders.
- To support with event management both online and face to face including providing technical support to participants on platforms for online training, including driving all courses hosted on Zoom, and providing excellent customer service to all engaging with our work.
- To support evaluations through providing and analysing data to use in reporting to funders and stakeholders.
- To lead on programme administration and funder updates, including tracking key data on platforms including Arts Council Annual Survey, Julie’s Bicycle, Illuminate and Salesforce.
- To support with the administration of programme activity by attending and writing minutes for key meetings, drawing up programme contracts, aiding with diary management, filing, liaising with key personnel, and conducting phone or zoom conversations as needed.
- To support with the financial administration of our programmes through invoicing and managing participant expenses.
- To take part in training and attending any networking events as required, including potential out-of-hours events such as our 3-day residentials, to represent Cause4 externally when required.
