About the Role
We are now recruiting for a Fundraising and Grant Management Specialist to support the Senior Leadership Team in developing and implementing Hibiscus’ Fundraising & Partnerships Strategy.
The successful candidate will be motivated and passionate about the rights of migrant women affected by the criminal justice and immigration systems, and will workThis post holder will identify and plan funding approaches in support of the organisation’s aims and objectives. They will manage current funding relationships whilst developing strong relationships with new funders who can support the charity’s work long-term. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a rolling programme of applications, planning compelling and targeted proposals in support of Hibiscus’ work and develop a fundraising database to track applications. This will involve exploring opportunities for Hibiscus to diversify its funding, working with SLT and the board to identify and cultivate strategically appropriate contacts. The post holder will also be responsible for ensuring stakeholder engagement by producing reports and updates for doners and trusts, facilitating the trauma-informed participation of Hibiscus’ service users in fundraising and establishing good working relationships with colleagues. They will play an active role in communicating relevant information to colleagues, and will work with colleagues to develop impactful, meaningful and data driven proposals.
The successful candidate be responsible for maintaining Hibiscus’ fundraising and development libraries, resources, and directories, including accurate records to monitor feedback. They will support the management of a case studies library, and work as part of the wider team, encouraging dialogue, promoting understanding and championing the work of Hibiscus.

About You
We are particularly keen to attract talent from Black and minoritised communities and those with lived experience of immigration, the criminal justice systems, and/or gender-based violence.
The successful candidate will be motivated and passionate about the rights of migrant women affected by the criminal justice and immigration systems, with successful fundraising experience and excellent writing, research, and stakeholder engagement skills. They will have a degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field, and/or experience in developing and implementing fundraising strategies to a high standard.
The candidate will have strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills, be able to set personal priorities, objectives and deadlines while maintaining a focus on key organisational and strategic priorities. They will work effectively as part of a team and demonstrate significant emotional resilience and intelligence. They will be familiar with and confident navigating data protection in relation to fundraising, always ensuring their work is grounded in the ethos, aims and objectives of Hibiscus Initiatives and human rights in general.The successful candidate will be able to acquire new skills and demonstrate a strong commitment to learning. Political awareness and knowledge of political developments in immigration law and policy is desirable. They will demonstrate a commitment to Hibiscus' ethos aims and objectives, including having an intersectional and anti-racist approach to the work and a comprehensive understanding of one of more of Hibiscus’ key work areas.

What the job involves
This is an exciting new role within our Integrated Marketing and Media department, managing a talented Media and PR team, creating impactful moments that inspire action and drive change for men.
You’ll be responsible for developing our media and PR approach, ensuring prioritisation to deliver our Communications strategy and campaign objectives. You’ll contribute to future planning, crisis planning, and measuring impact by tracking and evaluating our PR results.
You’ll work with our paid media agency to maximise our media partnerships, ensuring all our work delivers for men. You’ll work alongside our creative content team to help men affected by prostate cancer share their stories and build strong relationships with our spokespeople and key stakeholders.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Support Officer to join our Wellbeing Team and work on our long-standing Warm Homes programme. The role is being offered on a fixed-term contract until 31st December 2025.
The successful candidate will be working closely with Age UK's Network of 120+ local and independent Age UK partners, this role will support the delivery of projects across their life cycle, ranging from the implementation of funder-led reporting requirements to liaising with partners on the impact the project has had on their beneficiaries. This role will provide support and assist in the delivery of our Warm Homes programme, aimed at supporting older people affected by fuel poverty and cold homes.
As a Project Support Officer, you will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and will demonstrate exceptional organisational skills to ensure the successful delivery of the projects.
You will carry out a range of duties to assist the team in the coordination, planning, monitoring, and delivery of the Programme. From researching and meeting with relevant suppliers and organisations, to assisting with the development and maintenance of project plans. The post-holder will need to work effectively with our other internal departments, local Age UKs and delivery partners. Therefore, proficient organisational and communication skills are a must.
Please note that due to the Hybrid nature of this role, the successful applicant may be required to commute to the central London co-working hub on a regular basis, for example around three times per month.

About the role
Christian Aid's Campaign and UK Advocacy division exists to support Christian Aid's mission by making change happen through influencing people in power; engaging, inspiring and equipping people to make their voice heard; and working with allies and champions in the church, Parliament and beyond.
This role exists to influence members of the UK Parliament and other political targets to help advance our policy, advocacy and campaigning on climate and economic justice, and crisis contexts - currently with a particular focus on Gaza and the wider Occupied Palestinian Territory. In a fast moving and rapidly changing political environment, the role is responsible for identifying the most important people for influencing the UK Government; engaging MPs to speak up on our issues; monitoring parliamentary activity; building relationships with champions inside and outside of Westminster; scanning the political horizon to support the Chief of UK Advocacy and Policy and others in the organisation; and organising events to raise Christian Aid's profile in the political arena.
About you
You will have an excellent knowledge of the UK Government and Parliament, how policy change happens in the UK and how to develop effective advocacy strategies to achieve change. You will have experience of working in advocacy, public affairs or communications in a public policy role, engaging key external stakeholders and effectively representing an organisation's opinion and complex issues to a range of audiences. You will need a good understanding of the political environment, particularly current debates in international development and climate. You will be experienced in working with other organisations, networks and coalitions to advance advocacy. The successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate the required experience to successfully deliver on a demanding set of priorities. This role is fixed term for 12 months

The Fundraising Manager is responsible for delivering our fundraising strategy and increasing our income from various income streams.
This is an exciting opportunity to be the driving force behind our community fundraising and to build on our fantastic service to ensure we create a sustainable and effective organisation for years to come.
Reporting to the CEO, the role would suit somebody with excellent communications skills. Experience in fundraising, sales and marketing or a similar field is beneficial but not a necessity. The key skill is explaining the importance of our work to funders and donors in an effective way.
The Fundraising Manager will work with colleagues across the service to develop and deliver our fundraising strategy. There may be line management of communications team staff and volunteers as part of the role. It is essential for the role holder to develop and build relationships with key partners externally and to work closely with the management team and our Development Committee.
The role will focus on achieving our fundraising targets, expanding current income streams, and developing engagement and opportunities to support growth. That will include bid-writing, grant applications, community fundraising, and events.

You’ll work closely with our talented team across the charity and Communications directorate, fostering existing connections and exploring new partnerships. You’ll support our strategy for celebrity and influencer engagement, identifying impactful opportunities along the way.
In partnership with our Celebrity and Influencer Engagement Manager, you’ll manage celebrity logistics, administration, and itineraries, coordinating appearances at our events, media engagements, and third-party partner activities.

We’re looking for an excellent communicator who excels at building new relationships and inspiring others. You’ll be engaging with a range of stakeholders, including agents, influencers and celebrities alongside internal and external specialists at all levels. With demonstratable experience of acting sensitively, tactfully and with discretion with key stakeholders.

We are looking for someone to join our team as a Senior Legacy & In Memory Direct Marketing Officer on a fixed term basis, to deliver Battersea’s Legacy and In Memory marketing and fundraising programme by independently managing multi-channel direct and wider marketing campaigns to recruit and attract new Legacy and In Memory donors.
The ideal candidate would have experience planning, implementing and evaluating direct marketing campaigns across a range of media channels, the ability to analyse results of campaigns and a passion for helping dogs and cats.

ShareAction’s Financial Sector Research (FSR) team researches a variety of sectors’ performance and publishes regular rankings and analysis, as well as engaging with each surveyed institution and providing them with detailed recommendations for improvement. The FSR team also supports other campaign teams within ShareAction by providing relevant data and increasingly aims to share more data externally, too.
What you’ll do
The Senior Research Officer will contribute to this research, collecting information from institutions and databases, analysing quantitative and qualitative data, producing engaging content, and translating this analysis into actionable steps for institutions in our reports.
The focus of this role is to support the production and publication of our survey of the European banking sector. In this role, you will work closely with colleagues in both the Financial Sector Research and the Banking Standards teams to:
- Develop a methodology that is consistent with other financial sector benchmarks published by ShareAction, reflects recent market developments, draws on internal and external subject matter expertise, and reflects our campaign priorities.
- Collect, audit and analyse data regarding banks’ climate and sustainability strategies.
- Produce accurate and engaging written reports and data visualisations summarising the key findings of the research and drafting credible and persuasive recommendations.
- Support the presentation of the survey’s findings to banks, investors, funders, and the media.
- Contribute to responses to external consultations from regulators, policymakers, and other NGOs and support data sharing with external partners as appropriate.
The survey and benchmark of the European banking sector will be led by the Banking Programme team, with support from the Financial Sector Research team. This role will sit within the Financial Sector Research team, to benefit from the experience and processes already established for ShareAction’s asset management and insurance benchmarks. While you will focus on the survey of the European banking sector, there will be an opportunity to contribute to and learn about the other financial sector benchmarks as part of this role.
In this role, your responsibilities will include:
- Analysing quantitative and qualitative data and writing reports on banks’ responsible finance performance.
- Coordinating between the Financial Sector Research and Banking Standards teams to ensure consistency across ShareAction’s financial sector benchmarks.
- Conducting research across the themes covered by the benchmarks that draws on internal and external resources to inform survey development and data analysis.
- Using Excel and Python to analyse and organise large data sets (training will be provided for Python if needed).
- Participating in engagement calls with banks and answering technical questions relating to the research content.
- Presenting findings of our work to external and internal stakeholders through blogs, presentations, webinars, and roundtables and supporting the coordination of these events as appropriate.
- Organising and planning work with a high level of autonomy.
- Supporting the monitoring, evaluation and learning of our work.
- Contributing to funding bids and reporting on KPIs to funders where appropriate.
- Supporting the wider Financial Sector Research team to deliver other pieces of research, particularly the asset manager and insurance sector benchmarks.

As part of a small team and reporting to the Catalogue and Community Lead, you will support them in creating clear and comprehensive product reviews. You will also moderate contributions from our community of users and help create and maintain effective relationships inside and outside the charity. This means working with people inside Parkinson’s UK and from our community, as well as with the companies who make and sell the tech in our catalogue.

- Help the Catalogue and Community Lead to manage the catalogue of devices and apps, including compiling and editing listing pages.
