Corporate Partnerships

The RIBA Corporate Partnerships team is a new team that has been specifically created to innovate, attract, grow and deliver long-term, sustainable sponsorship revenue streams for RIBA, across a range of events, such as awards, conferences, talks, exhibitions and bespoke projects.

This is an exciting time for this team and RIBA. We are building a new future with mix of existing corporate partnerships and developing new business opportunities with sector leading brands.

About the Role

The Corporate Partnerships Manager is responsible for leading on the acquisition and development of new corporate partners with the intention of driving sales, year-on-year revenue growth and profitability, across the corporate partnership’s portfolio.

Reporting to the Head of Corporate Partnerships, this role focuses on securing revenue from leading organisations, both in the UK and internationally, and supports the successful delivery of corporate sponsorship activities, working with colleagues across the RIBA.

This role includes targeting, engaging and developing business with potential clients in our business category. These include, software providers, accountants, lawyers, banks, property companies, developers and built environment consultants.

You will be required to

• Actively seek, secure and maintain new long-term commercially viable corporate partnership sales opportunities through networking, direct targeting and via business related social media
• Develop a pipeline of corporate partner prospects in line with the business strategies, goals and objectives
• Build and maintain strong relationships with potential corporate partners, through securing and leading new business meetings
• Provide first point of contact and dedicated account management for corporate partners dealing with any queries or new requirements that may arise
• Monitor and manage corporate partner feedback to support development and client service improvement initiatives
• Oversight of corporate partnership accounts ensuring delivery of all agreed terms and requirements, while enabling sponsors’ objectives are met
• Attend client meetings and internal stakeholder and management meetings as the representative of the Corporate Partnerships team
• Attend events to ensure corporate partners’ requirements are successfully delivered, in line with contracted objectives and goals

Working with the Head of Corporate Partnerships

• Develop strategies for evolving and growing corporate partnerships, employing market intelligence to identify opportunities and assess the current market conditions
• Investigate ways to diversify our corporate partnership base and implement strategies to extend and grow our revenue streams
• Devise and implement strategies to increase revenue year-on-year across the RIBA awards, exhibitions, conferences and RIBAJ ‘special projects
• Prepare high quality and compelling corporate partnership proposals and presentations
• Support the development of corporate partnerships marketing collateral

What are we looking for?

​Ideal candidates will have a minimum of three years’ experience in a membership, media or an events organisation or charity. We are looking for an innovative individual with:

• Excellent interpersonal, organisational skills and written and verbal communication.
• A strong work ethic
• An ability to prioritise multiple projects simultaneously
• A knowledge of the architecture and construction industry would be an asset, though not essential.
• Proficient in all MS Office applications
• Ideally, experience of working with and selling to companies in our business category

As Individual Giving and Appeals Manager, you’ll deliver integrated fundraising campaigns across direct mail, email, and digital channels — helping us grow our individual giving base and strengthen donor loyalty.

Main areas of responsibility

Working with our media agency and third-party agency suppliers, this role will be responsible for the development, execution, and optimisation of mass scale, omni-channel marketing, and fundraising campaigns and marcomms within the overall BHF integrated media plan.

Working arrangements  

This is fixed term contract covering family leave until 31 May 2026.

This is a blended role, where your work will be dual located between your home and our London Office.

About us:

Essex & Herts Air Ambulance, unlike NHS emergency services, is a charity. The free life-saving service is provided 24/7 by helicopters and by rapid response vehicles.

Each critical care team consists of a pilot and co-pilot, a pre-hospital care doctor and a critical care paramedic.

They can be rushed to the scene with life-saving support equipment to deliver advanced clinical care, usually only available in the hospital emergency department.

Job purpose:

The Compliance Manager role has the purpose of maintaining a culture of compliance across the charity whilst ensuring we adhere to all relevant regulations and laws.

Together with the Governance Manager, you will be the key point of contact for compliance, providing advice and support to the team and ensuring we have procedures and controls in place across all areas of the charity.  This will include training to ensure the team is skilled and acting consistently, as well as identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing appropriate solutions.

Internally this role will be titled Assistant Governance Manager and will report to the Governance Manager.

• EHAAT is a patient focused emergency medical charity.  It is essential that all our staff are competent and confident in the delivery of CPR and use of an AED (defibrillator) in an emergency situation. For this reason, you will complete in house, CPR and AED awareness training annually.

The Clubhouse Social Café Manager will lead on the implementation of the of café (Due to open in October 2024) and will manage the Food and Beverage Operations in line with food, and health and safety regulations. You will be involved in the initial set-up of the facility.

About You 

We are looking for a passionate, inspiring catering/hospitality specialist to lead on training, mentoring and the hospitality operation of our new Clubhouse Café at Gunnersbury Park. The café is part of the new Community Sports hub at the site and will also double as a social and community space linking into community projects for all ages. Projects will include mental and physical health with the space acting as a central meeting/training hub. In this capacity you will work closely with the Trust's Health and Wellbeing Senior Manager. 

We are partnering with the homeless charity Change Please to create a West London training hub. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and training the café team. Our founder partners in the project are The University of West London (UWL) and the Premier League and Professional Footballers Association Fund. We are linking with the University to offer a range of immersive opportunities for their catering and business students and our Café Manager will link with them on a number of working projects.

The other aspect is the promotion and training in the importance of food, health and performance and the Manager will work with our Trust team to create innovative content and inspiring outreach programmes. Whilst we expect the Manager to have an active interest in food and nutrition, we plan to put some catering support and training in place to support the position.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual who has appropriate experience to lead the food and beverage side of the operation. They will be involved in the initial set-up of the facility (Due to open in Summer 2025) and the establishment of appropriate operation and health and safety procedures.
