What you’ll do:
- Have day-to-day responsibility for administering the accounting system to ensure that the user hierarchy is maintained, new users are set up appropriately and that rights for processing, reporting and workflow are assigned correctly.
- Attend promptly to colleagues’, members’, customers’ and suppliers’ queries.
- Process all invoices and expense claims from receipt to preparation for payment.
- Generate regular payment runs to agreed timetable modifying it as required to accommodate disruptions.
- Distribute all sales ledger invoices as instructed.
- Provide credit control to the business according to finance policies, actively engage with and enter in to and keep records of dialogue for all debtors.
- Ensure all bank reconciliations are performed in a time appropriate manner and to the RCR’s standards.
What you’ll need:
- Experience of using a finance system, payment system and Microsoft applications, including experience of working in nominal, sales and purchase ledgers and cashbook
- Experience of working in a finance team in a similar role
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- An ability to multi task and work to tight deadlines
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Self-starter, confident to initiate and progress work, knowing when to consult or involve others

Key Responsibilities
Spear Programme
- Lead group sessions of up to 10 young people, using coaching skills to transform their mindsets, and to maximise their potential in stepping into the world of work.
- Prepare and deliver coaching sessions on a weekly basis and find creative ways of developing ongoing relationships with Spear trainees. This includes running application workshops with past trainees as well as maintaining records and reporting on statistics.
Relationship Management
- Build and manage relationships with a variety of stakeholders, including referrers, local businesses, and other organisations.
- You will support with job fairs, mock interview days and welcoming external visitors to the centre.
Church Community
- The Assistant Coach is directly employed by River Church, meaning you are part of a vibrant church staff team and submerged in an exciting faith community.
- Help to raise the profile of the Spear programme within River Church and build a network of supporters and volunteers from the congregation.

The escalating crisis in Gaza has left thousands of children in urgent need of medical care, trauma support, and long-term assistance. Children Not Numbers is a grassroots medico-legal NGO committed to the health, safety, education, and wellbeing of Gaza’s children.
Children Not Numbers was established in February 2024 by Sarah Ben Tarifite and Somaya Ouazzani, founders and co-directors, who were driven by the urgent need to support Palestinian children caught up amid an unprecedented conflict. In just over 12 months, the organisation has grown rapidly into a global network of over 115 staff and volunteers, most of whom are volunteer paediatric medics representing more than 30 subspecialties.

About the role

About the Role
The Membership and Fundraising Assistant helps support the successful operation of the Horniman’s individual giving schemes, primarily focussed on the popular Membership scheme. This includes administration, communications and supporting campaigns and exclusive events.
Key Responsibilities
The role will support generating vital income to the Horniman Museum and Gardens through efficient database management, financial processing, the delivery of appealing events and benefits, and promotional communications.
About You

How Will you Make a Difference?
The Executive Assistant (EA) will provide high-level administrative support to Amna’s CEO, Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and Board of Trustees. This includes administrative help such as managing calendars, drafting communications and briefings, planning, and organising meetings, inbox support, travel, office administration and personal assistance. It also includes working on and managing special projects including research, data analysis, preparation for public speaking, writing and research.
This dynamic and creative position requires the ability to anticipate needs, think critically, and offer solutions to problems with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills including strong written and verbal skills, the ability to work with little supervision, and manage simultaneous priorities within the leadership team.

Key areas of responsibilities:
CEO/SLT Support

Qualifications and Experience:

ROLE PURPOSE
This role provides vital administrative support to the fundraising team, handling a range of tasks from donation processing and data management to coordinating team schedules and managing the giving inbox. MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT
- Donation Processing: Process and log all donations, including cash, card payments, and online donations. Ensure accurate coding and logging of donation information, especially during seasonal appeals, and support backlog processing as needed.
- Email and Inbox Management: Respond to emails in the giving inbox, directing queries appropriately and maintaining organised records of communication.
- Cash Handling and Banking: Arrange and oversee regular cash collections, maintain records in the safe, and support regular cash counting and banking to ensure accurate and secure handling of donations.
- Scheduling and Coordination: Support team scheduling needs, including coordinating departmental meetings, agendas, and any follow-up actions. Assist with booking and organising events as needed.
- General Office Support: Manage the distribution of collection tins and buckets, assist with inventory and stock checks for fundraising materials, and ensure an organised work environment for all fundraising resources.

As a Housing Assistant you will be expected to contribute to the efficient and effective administration of the Supported Housing Department and work closely with the Tenancy and Income Management Officers and the Housing Management Team in order to ensure that a comprehensive, sensitive and efficient housing management service is delivered to our tenants.
You ill also work as part of the Housing team to ensure a seamless service is provided across the income, housing management and maintenance functions of the department including liaising effectively with internal departments, landlords, and external agencies in relation to Housing Management matters.
