As England’s largest social work charity, making life better for children whose family need the support of a social worker and keeping them safe from harm is at the heart of everything Frontline does. Working with and supporting our social workers is so important to us being able to do this, and that’s what the Frontline Fellowship is all about.

Everyone who completes one of our programmes joins the Frontline Fellowship. A growing community of over 3,000, it brings together social workers from across England at every level of experience and offers them continued training and development so they can be the best they can for the children and families they support.

The Fellowship team, sitting within in our external relations directorate, works to develop, empower and support these social workers. We provide a space for our fellows to connect with each other, build partnerships and draw on each other’s experiences.

Your role will be to lead and manage a team comprising of two programme managers, an officer and two coordinators, to steer them strategically to improve the life chances of children and families by enabling this rapidly expanding group of social workers to:

• develop their leadership and progress into more senior positions
• expand their toolkit and improve their social work practice
• cultivate and implement their innovative ideas

You will also work closely with the other managers in the external relations team – head of fundraising, communications and marketing manager and evaluation manager – as well as the external relations director, to maximise the charity’s impact through our fellows.

Some key responsibilities include:

• Model and engender an ambition for continuous innovation and improvement 
• Ensure all areas of the team’s activity – Fellowship administration, fellow engagement and support, programme quality, event facilitation, project management – are of the highest standards
• Ensure the team tracks and analyses the relevant information to build a strong awareness of themes and learning across the team’s work

A little bit about you 

We are looking for an experienced manager who will set ambitious team objectives and targets, tracking and analysing these and adapting them as necessary. You will build strong and effective relationships across the charity, with fellows and with external key stakeholders.

We have a fast-moving culture within the team and organisation, so we’re looking for someone who is who is well organised, details-focused and can use their initiative to do what works. You will have excellent communication skills, be able to build relationships with people and be willing to learn. There are lots of opportunities for growth and development in this role – and for the right candidate to make the role their own.

Independent Age is the national charity focused on improving the lives of people facing financial hardship in later life. 

Our Helpline and expert advisers offer free, practical support to older people without enough money to live on. Through our grants programme, we support hundreds of local organisations working with older people across the UK.

Responsibilities and Person Specification:

Working alongside two other Advice and Support Managers, this role will share responsibility for the day-to-day delivery of Independent Age’s new Advice and Support Service, and lead on Evaluation and Impact. The service is delivered by telephone, email and webchat and involved a duty service, appointments and casework, targeted at older people in or facing financial hardship. We give information, advice and support to a specialist level, relating to Welfare Benefits, Social Care, Housing and other issues.

As Evaluation and Impact lead, you will be responsible for data collection and reporting, outcome and impact measurement, case studies and providing evidence to our Policy and Influencing colleagues. 

You should have experience of managing a high-volume telephone-based information or advice service and strong leadership skills to create a work environment where people can thrive. You will have experience of working within an advice context (ideally AQS accredited) and knowledge of the main issues affecting older people.

This is a full-time role, 35 hours per week, which you can choose to work over five days or a 9 day fortnight.

Salary information:

Hybrid working in London: £43,812 per year, increasing to £45,019 after 6 months and to £46,227 after 12 months. 

Homebased (with regular travel to London): £39,454 per year, increasing to £40,530 after 6 months and to £41,607 after 12 months.

We are recruiting for an experienced Product & CRM Lead to develop processes and strategies to support user experience of our CRM (Salesforce) and take responsibility for our main fundraising product, Feed a School. With experience of driving product success and enhancing user experience, you will work in close collaboration with our global movement, contributing to the product’s success, both online and offline. As a global network, we have effectively harnessed CRM technology, and you will play a key role in supporting the growth of our movement to allow us to reach more children waiting for Mary’s Meals.

Reporting to our Director of National Affiliate Growth, you will provide inspirational leadership to our small CRM team and drive collaboration with teams in our National Affiliate countries, Marketing and Technology & Projects. The development of strong working relationships will be key to success in this role, as is the ability to act as the main point of contact between stakeholders and technical teams.

• Lead the product development process through to launch.

About the role

West Kent Mind recognise both the importance of income diversification and the opportunities that being a charity provides in relation to income generation, community development and service delivery. We are looking for someone who will lead on the implementation and development of fundraising within West Kent Mind, maximising income and growing a diverse funding base.

The role will include leading on targeted programme of fundraising, including the delivery of local campaigns, events and activities. Key responsibilities

· As our Fundraising Manager your key role is to support the income growth of the organisation through implementing highly successful fundraising initiatives.

The Role 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Training Manager to join an established and well-regarded Gloucestershire disability charity to lead on the delivery of peer led Abuse Awareness, Self-Advocacy and Enablement Training for adults in Gloucestershire with learning disabilities.

Training is delivered through both individual and group training sessions across the county. 

By enabling and empowering Individuals to make decisions and act, the training will support people with a learning disability to develop the skills they need to ensure they are able to safeguard themselves from harm, contribute towards more independent living, and maintain and/or improve their health and wellbeing. 

About You 

You will be a highly motivated and engaging professional, with knowledge and experience in delivering and evaluating the effectiveness of training sessions, as well as guaranteeing the quality of delivery by the wider training team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has an interest in, knowledge and understanding of the daily challenges faced by adults with a learning disability.

The successful candidate will have a background in training or delivering in an academic environment. Direct experience of working with people with a learning disability is strongly preferred.

To be successful, you will have strong facilitation and communication skills, and the ability to engage with a diverse range of stakeholders. A proven ability to work collaboratively, flexibly, and virtually, is essential. 

Experience delivering programmes related to diversity and inclusion would be beneficial, in addition to a thorough understanding of safeguarding.

What you will be doing: 

• Leading a team to deliver our full range of bespoke training to adults with learning disabilities in Gloucestershire.

• Delivering the Building Circles Training to professionals and peers.

• Providing direction and prioritisation of course content in line with the Service Specification to meet the needs of those referred to the service.

• Working with the trainers and training administrator to recruit and train a team of co-trainers. 

• Ensuring all training is outcome driven and measured against key performance indicators. 

• Ensuring impact is measured and reported on to our Service Contract Managers, CEO and Board of Trustees 

• Closely collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders and service providers to ensure timely intervention and support for referred individuals and groups

Delivery of presentations to stakeholders to raise awareness of training. 

Keeping up to date with changes in the law which are communicated via our training.

Collecting, collating, and analysing feedback from sessions in line with the Service Specification. 

Ensuring all feedback and impact data is up to date for reports to Service Contract Managers, Trustees, CEO

Responsible for accurate documentation of all disclosures and safeguarding concerns

Building Circles (Registered Charity No 117838) was established in 2006 with the overarching aim of reducing social isolation and loneliness in adults with learning disabilities in Gloucestershire.

The guiding focus of our work is: 

• Connecting people with learning disabilities to volunteers with shared interest to expand their friendship circles and to enjoy mainstream cultural activities.

At FearFree we are proud to deliver services across the Southwest, and we're excited to be expanding our offer, with the introduction of a new Education, Training and Employment (ETE) Service.

As a Support Advisor you will be a fundamental part of our team, supporting the delivery of the ETE programmes and the development of the service. The service will provide a range of trauma-informed and person-centred support, focused on supporting those impacted by abuse to access education, training, employment or volunteering.

You will be responsible for providing trauma informed support through group work and 1-1 support. Working part time or full time alongside a team of practitioners across our geographical patch in Gloucester, providing support to Bristol and North Wilts as required, the project aims to:

• Increase volunteers in FearFree and support people to access volunteering opportunities externally.

The service will support victims of Domestic Abuse, Sexual Violence and Stalking aged 15 and above, alongside perpetrators of Domestic Abuse – empowering victims and reducing the risk of recidivism for perpetrators.

Main responsibilities and tasks

• Work closely with the service manager to set up and develop the service, supporting its ongoing growth and expansion.
• Triage and assess service users to consider their suitability for the ETE Service.
• Utilise a trauma informed approach to help people return to or access ETE.

• Play an active role in the recruitment process of volunteers in addition to management of volunteers ensuring they are kept up to date and involved in the organisation, alongside able to support our service users.
• Ensure risk assessments are completed where required and safety plans are completed on time and regularly.
• Work closely with the services across FearFree, developing close working relationships and supporting clients who may be accessing support from our other services.

In this role you will work across two services, our Newcastle Supported Housing and Personal Budget Service.

Working for our Newcastle Support Housing service you will support individuals aged 18 and upwards who have a mental health diagnosis to move into one of our tenancies helping them to ensure the transition is as smooth as possible, you will then meet with them each week to support them both emotionally and practically to develop life skills which enable them to sustain their tenancy and eventually move on to independent living.

This can include a number of tasks such as money management, managing bills, reporting repairs and supporting them to keep on top of the cleanliness of their property. You will support them with all aspects of the move on process. You will then support the team to get the property ready for our next move in. The individuals that we support though our housing service have multiple and complex needs, this can include a struggle with addiction or an offending history as well as other support needs.

In our Personal Budget Service you will support individuals aged 18 and upwards with a mental health diagnosis who have block hours of support and whose mental ill health is causing them concern and/or affecting their lives in various way. You will meet these individuals either in their own homes and out in the community and provide tailored support around areas that they currently struggle with to help them achieve their goals. The individuals that we support through this service live across Tyne, Wear and Northumberland.

But we also know that if we provide the right support, at the right time, we can inspire recovery nationwide and that recovery is possible for everyone. That’s where you come in. Responsible for helping and inspiring the people who use our services to maintain their tenancy and independence in the community, we’ll rely on you to work with them to come up with a personal support plan that will see them achieve their goals and aspirations. No relevant experience is required as Full training will be provided, although candidates with an understanding of mental health issues and/or lived experience would be welcomed. Our Philanthropy Lead will join an established High Value team, who collectively raise in excess of £5m+ a year. We are looking for a visionary, dynamic, and empathetic leader who is excited to work closely with the Parkinson’s community to secure vital donations towards our strategic priorities - including our multi-year Parkinson’s UK Nurse Appeal, ground-breaking Parkinson’s research and the Virtual Biotech, our international drug discovery programme. 

This role will lead, influence and embed the major donor strategy and line manage a high performing team. You'll deliver your own prospect/donor cultivation activity and generate new leads by working with our committed and high profile senior volunteers. 

You'll collaborate with colleagues and leaders across the charity to identify prospects and opportunities to give at a transformational level. You'll present and inspire philanthropic support for our work across the board, ranging from our much needed information and support services through to our Parkinson’s Virtual Biotech drug development programme, which is leading the way in driving forward new pioneering treatments. 

What you’ll do:

• Lead the Philanthropy team to deliver our ambitious multi-year income targets 

• Build on the team’s existing strategy, working closely with the Head on the overall strategic direction

• Identify, cultivate and manage relationships with your pipeline of donors and prospects (focused on £100k+ gifts)

• Collaborate with key colleagues and senior volunteers to build the £1m+ transformational gift pipeline

• Oversee, support and coach the Philanthropy team with their prospect/donor cultivation and stewardship activity

• Craft and passion for as well as extensive experience of successful major donor fundraising, with a track record of securing five and six figure gifts 

• The ability to proactively identify, qualify and generate new prospects to help grow and develop the team’s pipelines
