In addition, you will lead in the creation and execution of the charity’s Data Strategy, empowering Dementia UK to effectively harness data into actionable goals with clear performance metrics.
You will collaborate with internal stakeholders such as fundraising, clinical, finance and people teams to understand their IT needs and explore opportunities to enhance service delivery, fundraising, and donor engagement through technology. Your oversight of IT infrastructure will span servers, networks, cloud environments and data centers, ensuring reliable and secure operations while implementing best practices in security and data protection. You will also ensure that IT policies and procedures comply with industry standards, including GDPR, Charity Commission requirements, and data security guidelines.
To succeed in this role, you will have a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, along with extensive experience in senior IT management, with a focus on infrastructure, security, and project management. You will possess sound knowledge of IT governance, security, and compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR) and have experience with cloud platforms, network infrastructure, and database management. Exceptional communication skills will be essential, enabling you to convey complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

The Finance Officer is part of the Organisational Support and Development (OSD) team at the Tax Justice Network, which is led by the Director of OSD, and the role reports to the Head of Finance and Reporting. The OSD team leads and delivers on a range of operational services from finance management, risk management, project management, event management, human resources, IT systems and other enabling functions. The team is also responsible for fundraising for the organisation. This includes respond to calls for proposals, track funding opportunities and engage with donors regularly.
Key responsibilities
- Undertake the day-to-day bookkeeping including accounts payable, accounts receivable, banking payroll and general ledger maintenance
- Ensuring accuracy and integrity of all financial records and keeping a clear audit trail of all financial records
- Manage the staff payroll process including pension, HMRC and other related processes
- Manage the periodic payment runs and ensure that all payments are paid on time
- Supporting financial planning and reporting for project proposals, project reporting and management reports
- Support with project and year end audits schedules

• Holding or working towards a CCAB, CIMA or overseas equivalent qualification

Tender is an arts charity working with children and young people to prevent domestic abuse and sexual violence through creative projects. Since 2018, Connect: North Korea (CNK) has grown from a small community start-up into an effective and impactful organisation with an annual income of approaching £500,000, mainly through grants from Trusts and Foundations. As our new Head of Individual Giving, you will be responsible for growing our income from our individual and corporate base to help us reach more vulnerable members of our community. Design and deliver our annual major donor giving programme. Cultivate, communicate and inspire new major donors to join us with the aim of increasing our current major donor pool by 10%. Steward current donors, keep in touch, craft compelling asks to support their progression towards more frequent or higher-value donations.

Summary of role purpose
Senior fundraising and development role at a pioneering, mid-sized climate-change journalism non-profit with a seven-figure budget. Overall responsibility for developing, securing and managing a trusts and foundations pipeline – during an important organisational inflection point -- to help grow a sustainable, financially substantial and long-term income stream for our programmes, core and new activities. Main Duties and Responsibilities
· Research and recommend funding opportunities for current and planned programmes at a dynamic, climate-change charity with a strong track record, team, and culture. Manage and organise initial enquiries, funding applications, follow-ups, and learnings from feedback.
· Draft clear and compellingly written fundraising materials, including cases for support, funding proposals and concept notes.

We are looking for a creative social media native who is comfortable not only with presenting UWC to different audiences but also collaborating and supporting our different stakeholders in doing so. You’ll pull together significant pieces of our engagement with MPs, Lords, staffers and other parliamentarians across Westminster and Whitehall and be a visible expert internally and externally. Working across large and varied policy areas, you’ll manage our All Party Parliamentary Group for MS and coordinate colleagues across the organisation to deliver on our influencing objectives.
Whether it’s about making sure people access groundbreaking treatments, tackling the poverty people face when living with MS, or making sure the right support is there when people need it most, as a Senior Public Affairs Officer you’ll be working directly on influencing campaigns aimed at important political stakeholders to ensure people with MS have a voice in Parliament.
