The School Housing Advice Support Project builds on the success of a pilot program and aims to provide tailored housing advice and support to families, particularly those living in temporary accommodation (TA). The project will launch at one primary school in January 2025 and expand to three additional schools from February 2025.
The initiative offers practical housing advice, casework, workshops, and legal support through a collaborative partnership between Kineara and Southwark Law Centre. It also addresses challenges such as poor housing conditions, legal proceedings, and impacts on families' health and wellbeing.
About the role
We are looking for an experienced, motivated and compassionate support worker to deliver housing advice and practical support to parents from four Primary Schools in Southwark. This role involves conducting housing surgeries, providing follow-up casework, and running workshops to empower clients with the knowledge and skills to address their housing-related issues. The successful candidate will work closely with clients to identify their needs and offer tailored solutions to help them achieve sustainable housing outcomes. The role will be based mostly in Southwark, and you will be working in partnership with schools, community organisations and the council to coordinate tailored support for each client to avoid eviction and sustain tenancies, address suitability of the property, mediating with landlords where necessary and providing advice for onward housing when needed. The objectives of these programmes are to avoid evictions, sustain tenancies or move to a better suited property, improve wellbeing and awareness of tenancy rights and housing polices.

About this role
We are looking for an engaging and dynamic fundraising specialist and team player with a proven track record of income generation, to take on this exciting new role at this exciting point of our organisational growth.
Across the last two years, EduSpots has significantly grown its income, and significantly advanced the quality, scope and reach of its operations in Ghana, with further plans for expansion in the years ahead. We are looking for an individual that understands the value of community-led change, with all our work centred on, and resulting from the actions of 400 locally-based educational Catalysts.
Reporting directly to the CEO, you will take on the responsibility for growing our income generation from trusts and foundations, as well as building a strong network of partnerships with schools, corporates and individuals who will contribute effectively to our overall annual income targets. We are looking for an experienced individual, who is able to work with the CEO to develop larger fundraising partnerships at this point in our development.
You will oversee a small part-time fundraising team, comprising a Fundraising Manager, Trusts and Foundations Manager, and Communications Manager, alongside interns and other income-generation roles that may emerge.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
The key responsibilities of this role are to:
Team management

Manage the Trusts and Foundations Manager (part-time, 1 day a week), the Fundraising Manager (2 days/week), and the Communications Manager (full-time), alongside other income-generation roles that emerge, ensuring strategic input into their work, and support of their professional development and well-being.

Oversee the effective use of interns to support our fundraising and wider communications work.
Trusts and Foundations

Support the Trusts and Foundations Manager to continue to build relationships with small and medium trusts and foundations.

Oversee our grants database to track and monitor applications, outcomes, reporting requirements etc.

Develop relationships with new larger grant-makers and prepare information including requirements for application and deadlines.

Work with the UK and Ghana team to identify projects, programmes and areas of work suitable for grant funding.

Develop funding proposals and applications, working with the CEO and liaising with the delivery team to ensure accurate information.

Support the Trusts and Foundations Manager to compile reporting data that meets the requirements and deadlines of the funder.
Community fundraising, events and individual giving

Work with the Fundraising Manager to build further relationships in support of our work through strategic input into campaigns, events, school partnerships, the Elmina-based EduSpots Experience and the redevelopment of our online courses.

Work with the CEO to oversee the fundraising strategy related to our 10th anniversary year in 2025.

To oversee the creation and strategic direction of the EduChamps Community, and the effective use of our newsletter.

To build on our individual giving strategy (“EduChamps Club”), through our 10th anniversary activities.

Work with the Fundraising Manager and Interns to research further groups, individuals and organisations who may have an interest in our work.

Work with the Fundraising Manager to further develop our relationships database of donors and sponsors, ensuring information is accurately recorded and tracked.
Corporate partnerships

Identify, develop and promote sponsorship opportunities that are attractive to corporate partners and that achieve income generation for specific projects and programmes.

To contribute to the Charity’s fundraising and other strategies, as well as supporting the development of the annual business plan and budget, and assisting with the preparation of Annual Report.

Skills, Experience and Attributes

Proven track record of income generation - ideally in a similar education / international development organisation.

Programme Management
- Lead and be responsible for the delivery of The Elephant Group’s programmes across all partnerships including large scale events. This will include personally delivering content to young people, presentations to stakeholders and acting as a facilitator.

The HAMRAH Initiative is designed to address the significant challenges faced by Afghan civil society organisations (CSOs) forced into exile, particularly women-led organisations, as they continue to provide protection for vulnerable groups within Afghanistan. Overview

Job Description
Fundraising and Grant Writing: Work with the Programme Director to identify funding opportunities, lead the drafting and reviewing of proposals, concept notes, and grant applications for the HAMRAH initiative and its cohort organisations. Monitor funding trends and donor priorities to develop tailored and compelling proposals.
Policy and Joint Advocacy: Support HAMRAH and cohort organisations in designing and implementing targeted joint advocacy campaigns, including strategy and messaging development. Help facilitate policy dialogue and engagement with relevant stakeholders, including government officials, donors, and civil society networks, to advance the priorities of HAMRAH and its cohort organisations.
Research and Analysis: Conduct research and analysis to inform programme strategies, advocacy efforts, and policy development. This includes helping produce briefing papers, reports, and articles with clear recommendations based on HAMRAH’s work and evidence. Also monitor emerging trends, challenges, and opportunities in Afghanistan and other exiled communities across Global South to ensure programming remains responsive, relevant and impactful.

The Role
Resources for Autism has been providing services from 858 Finchley Road for many years and now working in partnership with the London Borough of Barnet are excited to be establishing the space as an Autism Hub for Children and Young People (CYP). The vision of the hub, is to create a welcoming, safe, neuro-affirmative place where autistic people and those who love and care for them can access the support and social opportunities they need at the right time, enabling them to live their best life. It will also be a place where professionals can connect, collaborate and learn ensuring services are joined-up and effective.
The service will offer a range of support to parents and carers and children and young people with autism in Barnet. The service offer could include:
- Advice support and signposting to the autism community pre and post diagnosis
- Weekly drop ins
- Social groups for autistic young people and those who love and care for them.
- Calendar of monthly workshops on specific issues addressing the needs of parent carers/ adults
- Behaviour surgeries for parents
- Autism Training to partner organisations
The Autism Support Worker roles provide access, support, outreach and reception services within an Children & Young people’s Autism Hub, and support to the Hub Manager. The role is responsible for ensuring that services delivered in the hub are effectively supported, monitored and focused to meet the needs of autistic children 0-19 Years and their families.
We are looking for a values-driven candidate with previous experience of working with and supporting children and young people and families. Knowledge and experience of working with autism is preferred but an understanding of SEN/LD will be essential.
You will have a great team of people around you and the opportunity to be a part of an innovative wellbeing project which will make enhance the offer for the Autism Community of Barnet.
Main Responsibilities:
· Provide an efficient and welcoming access point for families accessing a range of services at the CYP Autism hub, working as part of a team of staff providing support for effective service delivery.
· Provide and facilitate advice, guidance and signposting to families accessing the Autism Hub. This may be via telephone, email or in person.
· Support and manage a small caseload of 15-20 families requiring a ‘medium’ level of bespoke support and interventions, ensuring clear aims and goals are set and then empowering the children/family to achieve these.
· Host and/or co-host drop-in sessions, coffee mornings and/ or information sessions for CYP and families on different associated topics connected to autism. This will include facilitating peer support sessions and co delivered ‘workshops’ with partners on different themes.
· Provide effective administrative support to the Hub Business Manager, carrying out administrative duties as directed.
· Support the identification and registration of families with children 0-19 Years within the Hub, working alongside 0-19 Early Help Practitioners and Barnet CSC to encourage and monitor access to provision to ensure that emerging needs are met at the earliest opportunity and access data is correctly recorded and up to date.
· Ensure that activities, access and registration details are captured on RfA’s databases, supporting the Hub Manager to collate data and ensure accurate recording.
· Support the identification, monitoring and planning for eligible families and children within Barnet CSC to advise eligible families of the Hub, it’s services and support and the services available via other partners to ensure maximum take up and access of the service.
· Ensure that any families requiring additional support are flagged up with the Hub Manager and Barnet CSC staff to maintain an effective link to more targeted support and providing continuity of intervention.
· Ensure that local families are given opportunities to become involved in the planning and delivery of services, particularly those in need of support.
· Support meeting and venue booking arrangements, providing administrative support for hub staff, meetings, taking responsibility for sending out invitations, compilation of packs, papers and minute-taking.
· Take responsibility for own role in child protection, parenting, health and safety and premises issues and other related functions to contribute to a co-ordinated team approach to child safety and well-being.
· Undertake training and development necessary to develop in your role as an autism specialist.

About the role
Crisis is looking for an Executive Assistant to provide vital support to our Chief Executive, Senior Leadership Team (SLT), and Board of Trustees. In this key role, you'll be at the heart of our mission to end homelessness. You will be part of a passionate and driven team, typically supporting two members of our senior leadership team and decision-making at the highest levels.
It’s an exciting opportunity where you can grow your skills in a supportive, and collaborative environment, and can contribute to our equitable and inclusive culture. You will be juggling complex diaries and travel arrangements, financial administrative tasks, and providing indispensable support to our leadership team. You’ll help improve organisational effectiveness and influence bold decision-making, by supporting and coordinating a range of activities: from special projects to management meetings and Trustee meetings. By fostering meaningful relationships and contributing to impactful communications you’ll support essential collaboration across the organisation to drive change.
This is a varied, dynamic, and fulfilling role! Prior EA experience is not essential, but you will need to be able to demonstrate the transferable skills, experience and understanding you can bring to the role. Head of Funding, Equity & Inclusion is a key role for The National Lottery Community Fund (the Fund), based within its Funding, Strategy, Communication and Impact (FSCI) Directorate. This role is required to drive delivery of our EDI Funding ambitions across the organisation in line with our strategy ‘It starts with community’ and our corporate plan.
We are looking for someone with strong EDI Funding experience, organisational, communication and relationship skills. You will be responsible for driving delivery in line with our EDI funding ambitions.
Our strategy means that, across all our work with communities and our four missions, we’ll invest most in places, people and communities who experience poverty, disadvantage and discrimination. Our work aims to support communities to build from their strengths. We’ll support what matters most to different communities, including long-term investment to address deep-rooted challenges.
As the Head of Funding, Equity & Inclusion, you will be required to:
- Play a leading role in developing our organisation’s capacity to understand and meet the funding needs of the diverse communities.
- Lead the strategic development, delivery and continuous improvement of EDI for our funding portfolios across the UK,
- Influence, drive and align, One Fund approach to EDI Funding and establish ways of working to ensure a sustained delivery.
- Ensuring all aspects of our funding services are inclusive and accessible.
You will be line managed by the FSCI Deputy Director: Programme Lead Strategy Implementation and Funding Policy and will lead a team of two EDI Managers
You will be proactive, resilient, and adaptable working with your team and colleagues at all levels and across the Fund. This will include, for example, aligning your approach with our internal People and Culture strategy. You will be happy to lead work, take decisions, provide briefing, reports and make proposals in line with our governance processes.

- In-depth knowledge and experience of implementing EDI concepts, strategy and practice for a whole organisation including ensuring the values and behaviours of the organisation are as important as the operational delivery.
- Strong, visible leadership and stakeholder engagement skills, able to communicate, persuade and influence at all levels.
- Relevant and recent experience of successfully leading work to reduce inequalities and promote equitable outcomes in a community or funding environment.
- A proven track record of successfully implementing significant change in a complex organisation, managing competing priorities, risk and dependencies.
- Evidence of delivering practical outcomes, able to innovate and implement new ideas in an agile way.
- Experience of using evidence and data to inform policy, practice and decision-making to deliver positive impacts on communities.
- Strong interpersonal skills, managing, mobilising and coaching others across a matrix team.
- Knowledge of relevant equalities legislation relating to service provision for a public sector body.
