Sitting within the Chief Executive’s Office, this new position of CEO Office Executive will play a key role in delivering high quality, proactive administrative support to our Senior Leadership Team and Board of Trustees. They will be carrying out key administrative duties within the team, predominantly in executive support but also more widely across governance, strategy and internal communications.
Reporting to the Head of Governance, they will be a key member of the Governance and Executive Support team, enabling members of Alzheimer’s Research UK’s Senior Team to carry out their roles efficiently and to support delivery of Alzheimer’s Research UK’s strategy.
This role is also available for those looking for part time working with a minimum of 28 hours.
Main duties and responsibilities of the role:
Administrative support
To provide proactive and high-quality administrative support to enable our Senior Team to carry out their roles effectively, to include:
· Assist the Executive Support team in providing administrative support to the Chief Executive and other Executive Directors as required.
· Arrange and attend meetings across Alzheimer’s Research UK, which may include taking and issuing minutes, drafting agendas, collating and distributing papers as appropriate, locating suitable meeting venues, room reservations and refreshments.
· Filter general information, queries, telephone calls, emails, and invitations received for the senior leadership team by redirecting to an appropriate point of contact.
· Ensure travel arrangements, including international travel, are managed effectively and within budget, including booking travel and accommodation, producing a detailed travel itinerary, arranging currency and visa requirements.
· Complete expense claims, ensuring receipts are obtained and expenses are claimed in accordance with the relevant policy.
Governance, internal communications and strategy
· Work with the Governance team to support delivery of Alzheimer’s Research UK’s governance arrangements including preparation for meetings, management of meeting logistics including locating suitable meeting venues, room reservations and refreshments and general support as required.
· Help maintain a calendar of activity within the CEO Office to support the prioritisation and preparation ahead of engagement opportunities for Alzheimer’s Research UK’s Senior Team.
· Conduct research and information gathering to support project planning and decision making.
· Learn how to use / and be proactive in using the organisation's CRM system (Salesforce) to record key activity for the CEO Office Team.
· Support the internal comms team in their aim to make all employees feel connected to the organisation and their colleagues. This could include supporting the preparation and delivery of employee events, assisting with the collation of information for regular, all-employee comms, such as the monthly all-employee meetings and the monthly CEO newsletter, and helping to promote the CEO Office via Internal Comms.
· Work with the Director of Strategy and Governance to provide support on key priority projects relating to strategy delivery.
· Help arrange and service CEO Office team activities throughout the year.

Additional Information:
Ways of working: As part of our Agile ways of working you will be required to work approximately 2 days a week from the office, which is subject to the requirements of the role and the business needs. Flexibility on where you work can be split between working from home and our office.
Roles that are classed as part of the Agile ways of working are not able to claim any costs for Mileage/Travel on Public Transport, Accommodation and/or Meals. This includes when attending the office for various meetings/events.

Winchester City Penguins Swimming Club (WCPSC) based in Hampshire is looking for a CEO who will report to the Board of Trustees. We are looking for an inspirational leader to support the Charity's strategic direction and for the day-to-day management of the Charity, including operations, line management and membership relations
WCPSC is a registered charity which exists to create opportunities through swimming. We have been teaching Winchester to swim since 1901 and have been at the heart of creating swimming opportunities ever since. Over recent years WCPSC has seen significant growth in its lesson’s programmes and the number of swimmers competing at county, regional and national levels.
Almost uniquely among swimming clubs, we run a community outreach programme which aims to ensure inclusive access to swimming for all. We believe swimming is a fundamental life skill, which increases individuals’ safety near water as well as developing confidence, dedication, and responsibility. Through our community programme we run a series of local projects to increase accessibility to swimming regardless of ability or background, with our aim to ensure that all children leaving primary school can swim 25 metres.
Affiliated to Swim England, and as a Swim Essentials accredited club we are recognised as having high standards of governance and operation. We are governed by a board of elected Trustees with day to day running driven by a dedicated management team and supported by a huge number of volunteers who ensure we can offer a broad range of provision. About the role
The CEO is a pivotal role at Winchester City Penguins Swimming Club. We are looking for an inspirational leader who together with the Board of Trustees, will set the strategic direction of the charity.
As CEO, you’ll have responsibility for the day-to-day management of the charity, working with the staff and volunteer team to manage the clubs lesson programmes, community, and competitive swimming squads.

You are someone with the expertise and knowledge to provide inspirational leadership, to champion Safer London’s values, and to ensure that the voice of the children and young people we work with is heard and listened to, and that their needs inform everything we do and how we do it.
You are committed to creating and sustaining a supportive, empathetic and inclusive organisational culture for both those who work for Safer London and those we work with. Working closely with the Board of Trustees and the Senior Leadership Team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the organisation’s long-term strategy, budget and business plans, bringing creative ideas and new approaches to the table.
You bring experience of partnership or multi-agency working and a solutions-focused approach to supporting, motivating and engaging employees, volunteers, beneficiaries and existing and prospective funders.
The basics
Location: Agile with regular travel around London and time in Safer London’s Southwark office
Contract: Permanent (subject to funding)
Hours: 32 hours per week (Safer London is a 4 day/32 hour working week organisation)
Starting salary: £85,000, rising to £104,500

Political understanding of the nature of the UN and the UK’s relationship to it is critical, together with a track record of generating and diversifying funding for your organisation.
You will bring exceptional strategic, people and leadership skills to run an organisation successfully, understand how to work effectively with a board of trustees and harness opportunities presented from our network of groups, individual members and supporters across the UK.
Previous chief executive experience is desirable but not essential.

We are seeking a dynamic Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to drive and implement change and develop partnerships as ANCC adapts to a changing world. This is a key role for a senior leader with expertise in change management, partnership development, marketing, and communications, to help ANCC achieve its mission.
