This year our Content & Publications Manager is taking a six-month sabbatical from June to November. We are looking for someone who can lead the content and publications work during this period, managing the three colleagues who work directly on this task.

To be successful in this role, you'll need experience in volunteer recruitment, community outreach, marketing, or related fields, with a strong ability to engage and inspire others. You'll be confident in delivering marketing campaigns, creating engaging advertising materials, and using data to track and improve recruitment strategies. A degree or formal qualifications in marketing or volunteering would be beneficial, but not essential.
This is a part-time home-based role, working 32 hours per week, with regular travel across Wales. You’ll need to demonstrate a proactive, flexible approach and willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends to attend key events. The closest office is Cardiff. What skills are we looking for?
Strong understanding of paid media channels; Audio Visual, Out Of Home, Digital with a particular focus on Paid Search and the role of the different channels in integrated campaign planning. You will also have experience working in an Agency environment.
Excellent project management and communication skills with experience of managing and improving priority workstreams involving multiple teams and stakeholders.
Media planning expertise and experience delivering multi-channel marketing campaigns across a broad portfolio.
Experience of leading communications to manage and motivate suppliers and agencies to drive maximum value from relationships.

Title: NTD Programme Manager

Contract: 24-month Fixed Term Contract
Hours: Full time – 35 hours per week
About the role
We are looking for a NTD Programme Manager to implement NTD Programmes in Liberia, and oversee the development, design, budget, and monitoring and evaluation of the programme.
As the NTD Programme Manager you will deliver the NTD Programme targets, programme management guidance, and direct technical support to build the development of integrated NTD programmes and advocacy for the elimination of NTDs in Liberia, as well as being responsible for maintaining an excellent working relationship with our partners, particularly the Ministry of Health.
Further responsibilities include:

Participate in strategic planning processes to successfully drive the direction and delivery of cost-effective services and ensure objectives are met in line with national policies and Sightsavers’ NTDs elimination goals.

In collaboration with key stakeholders, lead the development of country level NTD action and implementation plans.

Provide leadership and guidance in the implementation of NTDs programmes in Liberia to ensure that prevalence trends are effectively tracked and the data collected is used to develop integrated/co-implemented NTD programmes and elimination evidence.

Provide effective management, coordination, technical advice and resource allocation necessary to support the country programmes to deliver NTD targets through quality service delivery.

Support the country the team to establish and maintain effective relationships with the Ministry of Health, and other partners in order to advance sustainable national plans and integrate them into the existing public health delivery systems.

Lead on supporting the country team in rolling out real-time monitoring of MDA coverages and evaluating NTD programme performance.

Assist in preparing Budgets for projects and monitor expenditure against these, advising the Senior Programme Manager on financial trends etc.

Develop relationships with other NGOs to support funding and delivery of services.

Represent Sightsavers at appropriate national/regional/global forums.

Assist project teams and the Ministry of Health in disseminating information on NTD activities, studies, research and lessons learned at national and international level.

Ensure integration of safeguarding into NTD programme design implementation, monitoring and evaluation.
Skills and Experience
As the successful candidate you will have extensive experience of strategic programme development within an INGO, possess technical knowledge of Onchocerciasis (Oncho) and Lymphatic Filariasis (LF), and have experience of managing an integrated NTD programme in Africa, ideally in an international context.
Further requirements include:

Experience developing and managing public health programmes.

Understanding of the Liberia health system.

Advocacy experience.

Experience of donor and partner relations including supervising and monitoring programme partners and activities.

Knowledge and experience of FCDO.

Experience of managing project staff

Able to travel 8-12 weeks a year (nationally and internationally)

Wigan & Leigh Hospice is looking for a Marketing and Communications Manager to join our Business Development team.
The hospice is a charity which is firmly embedded in its community and relies on the support of that community to keeps its services running. Often people are surprised that hospices rely so heavily on donations to deliver such essential services, but every day we need to raise £12,000 just to keep the hospice running.
As Marketing & Communications Manager you will play a key role in raising the profile of the hospice, helping our community to better understand the services we offer. You will manage all of the hospice’s internal and external communications channels, finding creative ways to engage patients and their families, supporters, staff and volunteers.

You will be a key member of the Data & Insights team, responsible for ensuring our data is accurate, complies with all relevant legislation and helps the wider team to make informed data driven decisions.
You will be responsible for helping with the daily management and administration of the Dynamics CRM system and integrations with other systems, with a particular emphasis on supporting CPRE’s fundraising, supporter care, and campaigning activities. You will ensure data accuracy through regular data cleaning, improvements, and de-duplication processes.
In addition, you will provide timely and accurate data selections and create visual reports to support various organisational needs.
Using your mathematical knowledge and statistical tools you will analyse data, providing interpretation and understanding the numbers within the models. Through this you will support the fundraising team to extract value from our Data Sets by identifying correlations in customer behaviours and giving propensities, leveraging both internal and external data.
You will also work closely with the Finance Team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with excellent analytical and processing skills who wants to take their first step in an analytical career.
