Age UK is recruiting for a Senior Legacy Marketing Manager to lead a high-performing marketing team to plan and deliver, legacy marketing campaigns, managing budgets, performance analysis, pipeline development, and relationship management of our legacy supporters.
In this impactful role, you will take proactive accountability for the development and delivery of the legacy journey from prospect & considerer stage to pledger, creating bespoke journeys for our audience segments.

The Public Affairs Manager will be a key member of our busy External Affairs Team within the wider Policy and External Affairs directorate.

The Role
We have recently launched our new CRM based on Microsoft Dynamics 365, and are looking for a CRM Manager to join an end user Charity in Central London. The Charity has a direct front end CRM user base of around 30 staff. It also has a power platforms bespoke portal for between 64-120 regional staff to login to, who contribute to the membership programme, creating new memberships and managing the renewals process which happens each year. It also has a power portals Donation portal which directly integrates to Dynamics 365 and Business central. This role is to support our internal staff (30) and external Staff (120) with the day to day activities ensuring business processes are fit for purpose and seek out possible improvements in the long term roadmap.
Key Functional Areas
- Data architecture– Lead on the review and structure of data on CRM.
- Systems Governance - Ensuring system best practices are followed, producing dashboards to identify common errors to follow up with users offering tailored training for common issues.
- Training and Support - training of new members, ongoing training and refreshing areas where common issues are found in regular training sessions all staff and portal users can attend.
- Information Governance and Data Protection - Ensuring data is kept up to date and added in the correct formats and standards. Leading on data compliance and legalisation for the charity

Work Location/Hybrid Working Pattern

Tuesdays are our anchor days where every staff member is expected to be at the office. The 90 days includes anchor Tuesdays. The Operations Manager is responsible for the smooth, efficient, and compliant day-to-day operation of the business centre. This includes oversight of facilities management, health & safety, lettings, team leadership, and budget management. The role ensures the business centre is well-maintained, tenants are satisfied, and operational performance is continuously improved. Reporting to senior leadership, the Operations Manager contributes to strategic planning, drives efficiencies through systems and digital tools, and plays a vital role in sustaining high occupancy and tenant retention.
Role Responsibilities:
Centre Operations Management
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the business centre, ensuring all facilities are well-maintained, compliant, and running smoothly.
- Ensure the lettings process is well-managed and aligned with policies.
- Implement and monitor operational procedures to improve efficiency and service quality, including opportunities to digitise processes and services.
- Contribute to strategic operational planning and continuous improvement initiatives.

Building Maintenance

- Draft lease documentation and ensure timely renewals and support the rollout of any rent reviews.
- Carry out twice-yearly audits of lease documentation.

- Monitor lease management by team, lease compliance and resolution of any lease-related issues.
Customer Service
- Act as a point of contact for tenants, addressing any issues or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Foster strong relationships with tenants, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement strategies to attract new tenants and retain existing tenants with the goal of maintaining high occupancy levels.
Financial Management

Line Management

The Role
As our Deputy Warehouse Operations Manager (Donations) you will be responsible for stock control and stock movement between our Donation Centre and Warehouse and organising deliveries for van drivers to take stock to our shops. This should all be done in accordance with all health and safety regulations. The sorting of donations quickly and efficiently is a fundamental part of this role, and it is expected that a significant proportion of working time will be spent doing this.
Reporting to the Warehouse Operations Manager (Donations) you will support the management of the volunteer team; the organisation of the weekly logistics, communication to the retail teams regarding their deliveries, and ensuring that any requests for specific stock or returns are well managed.
Specifically, you will:
- Lead the team of employees and volunteers to quickly and efficiently sort donated stock.
- Be responsible for ensuring that donated stock is stored appropriately and safely.
- Identify if any specific donated stock suits the profile/demographics of specific shops in the retail network and ensure that those items are ringfenced and delivered in a timely manner to maximise income for the charity.
- Support the Warehouse Operations Manager (Donations) in managing the daily running of the Donation Centre and warehouse, maintaining policies and procedures.
- Be responsible for planning and administering the weekly logistics, to ensure stock is collected and delivered to the network of shops, and to plan for collections from donors’ homes.
- Support the management of the volunteer rota on a weekly basis to ensure that both the Donation Centre and warehouse are fully operational during opening hours, and minimise lone working.
- Support the management of Donation Centre and warehouse volunteers: This will include recruiting, inducting, managing, motivating, and training to ensure a positive working environment.
- Play an active role as the Duty Manager for the building that you are in, in line with the expectations and requirements of the Business Continuity Plan, and run the site in line with brand standards, and the applicable charity policies and procedures.
About You
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- To be trained as a First Aider and Fire Marshal.
- To be ideally educated to GCSE level or equivalent.
- To have experience of managing people and volunteers including recruitment and development.
- To have previous experience in a warehouse or distribution role, ideally within a retail or charity environment.
- To have commercial awareness to help build and drive sales coupled with the determination and motivation to help build and drive our retail distribution network.
- To have knowledge and experience of effective stock rotation and management.
- To have a basic understanding of Microsoft Office programs including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- To be highly organised with good time management skills and the ability to prioritise own workload to meet deadlines.
- To be able to react to quickly changing dynamics and flexibility.
- To have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, develop and nurture talent.
- To be able to work on-site in our Yorkshire Cancer Research Centre, Hornbeam Park, Harrogate and Manse Lane, Knaresborough.
- A willingness and ability to travel across the Yorkshire region as required.
