What does a Senior Finance Business Partner do?
The social care sector is currently facing significant challenges which have in part, impacted upon Thera Trust. We are recruiting a Senior Finance Business Partner.
In a financially challenged sector, the Senior Finance Business Partner is a critical colleague working closely with Head of financial planning and analysis, supporting the creation of the financial aspects of both the short- and long-term Thera Business Plans and budgets.
As a Key member of the finance leadership team, responsible for implementing finance vision, and creating culture of collaboration and continuous improvement, Business partnering with Senior leaders across the Group to deliver financial aspects of their transformation and improvement plans in the areas covered by their subsidiary.
What experience do I need?
- You will have Proven experience at a senior level in engagement and influence to improve financial performance within a complex environment
- Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA), with significant post qualification experience at a senior level
- Strong knowledge and experience of appropriate operational practices including contract costings
- Highly proficient in using EXCEL to present data and model scenarios and sensitivity analysis including what if functionality
- A proven track record of strong capable leadership, driving departmental service improvement and organisational change
- The ability to forge nurturing partnerships and collaborative relationships
- Functioning work home office will be required for remote working

Business Development Co-ordinator – 18-month Fixed Term Contract

Key Purpose:
The Business Development team leads and co-ordinates pilot service projects for RABI and runs the mental health training programme.
This role would include helping facilitate the day-to-day running of the mental health training programme and its development and expansion, as well as the integration into the new CRM system.
The role will involve an element of cross departmental working, to ensure both the smooth running of the service, but also the development of it to ensure it reaches its full potential.
Implementing relevant procedures and processes, revising and facilitating continuous improvement will be key to the success of the role, with a focus on reporting and integrating the service into the CRM.
Building and maintaining successful working relationships both internally and externally and ensuring the highest standards of service delivery are essential to the role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Day to day management and delivery of RABI’s mental health training.

- To integrate the mental health training service from booking through to invoicing and reporting, within the CRM system, to ensure all data is captured, relationships managed, and reporting provided.

PURPOSE OF THE POST
The purpose of the post is to work closely with POPS’ Director, to ensure the quality and compliant delivery of POPS’ service located currently across Northwest, Yorkshire, Leicester and Bristol. MAIN TASKS
STRATEGY

Main responsibilities of the role include:
- Assess, analyse and present opportunities for the organisation to generate additional income to support their charitable purposes.
- Update and maintain corporate risk registers, using risk management tools to develop mitigation and delivering risk reports to SMT.
- Support the CFO to assess business cases and create proposals, using insights on assets and resources at an organisational level.
- Working with the SMT with the preparation and assembly of committee and board reports, providing broad commercial input and analysis.
- Lead and support on a range of projects and improvement programmes across the organisation.
The successful candidate will:
- Come with a commercial mindset and ideally have worked in a Big Four environment.
- Have experience developing a strategic vision in a regulated sector or in a management consulting practice.
- Be confident analysing, presenting and supporting advice at board level discussions around commercial opportunities.
- Demonstrate a strong track record of business partnering with key stakeholders in a business management environment.

Exciting opportunity for a Finance Business Partner to join a world class research institute and university college. Top of the league for university research quality, my client are also in the top four centres worldwide for their specialist research and treatment.
This role will work in the organisations financial planning & strategy function, to ensure a high-quality business partnering and financial management service that is aligned with the organisation’s strategic priorities.
Key areas of responsibility:
- Produce relevant, timely and accessible reports and ensure good dialogue to enable budget holders to monitor the financial position of their assigned budget(s)
- Working as a team with the other Finance Business Partners, work on the production of the monthly management accounts pack, ensuring timely and accurate reporting and incisive analysis and commentary
- Support budget holders to produce reasonable and considered budgets and forecasts within agreed timescale

We are recruiting a permanent HR Business Partner role, for a well-known non-profit organisation, to be based either in London or York, with up to two days office presence required. Reporting into the Deputy Director for HR Operations and joining at team of 4 HR Business Partners, this role will be a combination of HR Business Partnering, with a context of change management and organisational transition - so some experience of working within a change environment would be highly desirable.
As our new HR Business Partner, you will be working closely with senior leaders to identify business problems and develop appropriate HR solutions, embedding our values in their departments, developing and reviewing succession plans, addressing skills gaps, and with organisational restructures and other change initiatives;
We are seeking to strengthen management capacity so this will involve coaching managers on a range of HR topics, and helping to embed HR policies and processes; whilst also supporting ER casework (absence, disciplinary, capability and grievances etc) and working on ad hoc HR related projects.
This role requires previous experience as an HR Business Partner (or similar role partnering with senior stakeholders). You will need to demonstrate how you have built strong relationships with senior leaders and the ability to quickly gain an understanding of the HR challenges facing the client group; whilst experience of supporting cultural and structural change within a complex organisation is critical and you'll need to be confident in challenging and coaching senior leaders.
