About the role
You will work closely with the Housing First team, colleagues and accommodation providers, to place clients directly into homes in places they want to be. Then you will work with them to develop outcome-focused support plans that reflect their personal strengths and goals, to make sure that they can sustain their accommodation and thrive in their community.
Also you will coordinate support around your client and act as a key worker to help them sustain their accommodation and move forward with their lives. This will mean coordinating interventions provided by other agencies so that the right support is provided at the right time, to enable the service user to progress on their journey to recovery. Giving full advice on different issues such as homelessness and housing options, tenancy issues e.g. dampness and disrepair, welfare and housing benefits, debt and employment is also a key aspect of the role. You will need to visit clients in their homes or community locations which could be anywhere in Dorset.
About you
You will need a relevant background that includes experience of housing, homelessness and welfare benefits law and experience supporting people who are vulnerable and/or have multiple disadvantage. Through this you will have a good working knowledge of safeguarding frameworks. Proficiency using a range of IT tools to carry out your work, including Microsoft Office applications is important too. If you have experience of using case managements systems this is an advantage, but not essential. The role will need you to visit clients in their homes so you will need a valid driving licence and be willing to use your vehicle for work purposes - for which an essential car user allowance will be paid.

JOB PURPOSE

Title: Consultancy for mid-term review of INSPIRE refractive error project
Location: Pakistan / Global
Contract: Approximately 30-45 workdays over six months
In Pakistan, eye health services are an integral part of the government health system, led by the National Committee for Eye Health (NCEH). The NCEH, which includes government and civil society stakeholders such as Sightsavers, has developed the ambitious IPEC plan 2020-2030. This plan highlights the need for strategies targeting disadvantaged communities, including women, the elderly, and people with disabilities. It also recognises the necessity for a comprehensive national refractive error (RE) strategy and a national training programme for opticians.
- Conduct a Mid-Term Review to assess the project's progress, successes, and challenges.
- Conduct primary data collection in the project areas (initial sampling suggests that around 116 individuals should be consulted across the stakeholder groups, although final details can be agreed between Sightsavers and the consultant during inception).
- Evaluate the effectiveness of implementation approaches, including equity strategies, social and behaviour change (SBC) activities, and public-private partnership models.
- Validate initial findings through a workshop with implementing partners.
- Provide recommendations for adjustments to the project and future similar projects.
- Contribute evidence towards answering Sightsavers' thematic learning questions for refractive error.
- Coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of activities and high-quality outputs.
- Extensive experience in monitoring and evaluation for international development projects/programmes, with strong skills in both qualitative and quantitative approaches.

Role snapshot:
- Support the Senior Income Generation Manager with the implementation and success of the income generation strategy
- Work with our Education Team to develop funding propositions
- Provide a high standard of stewardship to all our audiences
- Managing and maintaining relationships with our existing grant funders, to maximise relationships and long-term income growth
- Identifying prospects among trusts and foundations, researching and writing tailored bids to support our education activities and core funding needs
- Develop supporter journeys for our small group of individual donors
- Work with other team members including our Comms Manager to identify potential new audiences and to target communications to build our supporter base

This will play a key role in carrying out a range of general health & safety room checks, cleaning, building maintenance and caretaking tasks. The role will report to and support the Facilities Manager in the delivery of planned, reactive maintenance and cleaning tasks.
The role will ensure a safe, clean and welcoming environment for residents, employees and visitors by providing a repairing, maintenance cleaning service in order to keep the various buildings and grounds to the highest standard, whilst minimising the need for external contractors.
RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES
- To support daily, weekly & monthly planned maintenance tasks as scheduled (fire alarm tests, water temperature recording, emergency lighting tests, etc.).
- Support Customer Services with planned room health & safety checks

About this role
The Senior Business Development & Fundraising Coordinator will work as part of the Fundraising and business development Team at RedR. Their role is to work across all income streams within business development and fundraising, with a focus on running the business development and fundraising team’s day to day work, supporting the Associate Director of Programmes and Business Development in meeting BD and fundraising targets, draft high quality bids – particularly to institutional funders-, and nurturing relationships individual and corporate donors, as well as trusts and foundations.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Team, Project and Line Management

Manage the day-to-day operations of the business development and fundraising team, including line management of the BD/Fundraising Officer.

About the Role
The organisation delivers a range of targeted youth programmes for children and young people who benefit from more intensive support, to reach their goals including mental-health and emotional wellbeing support, careers and enterprise initiatives, youth voice and social action opportunities; and programmes addressing serious youth violence and exploitation.
We are looking for a Trusts and Grants Manager to oversee the fundraising of all restricted income. Restricted income makes up 70% of the overall income stream, and enables the charity to deliver core youth work activities as well as targeted programmes such as employability, health improvement and social prescribing, detached youth work and more, with over 50 funded contracts per year.
Key duties include:
- Manage a pipeline of restricted income
- Propose, cost and write trusts and grants applications that typically span from £5,000 to £100,000
- Support the Director of Fundraising to complete applications for unrestricted funding
- Keep up to date with local and national funding opportunities
- Chair the bi-weekly trusts and grants meetings
- Work closely with the Director of Youth Services to mobilise successful bids
- Support during the preparation of financial audits
This role will include both line management and hands on grant application and stewarding of commissioners.

The position of Event Manager is a central role within the Foundation, not only driving the Foundation forward in both fundraising and keeping the cogs turning in all aspects from administrative detail to event organisation.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Leading development, delivery and execution of the LGF events programme, consisting of already established major donor events and a focus on improving the range of events for a wide general audience that maximises fundraising and drives supporter engagement.
