Responsibilities and Person Specification:
As a Graphic Designer, you will be part of our busy and friendly Studio team delivering content that presents an authentic narrative of older people’s lives. Working closely with the Senior Graphic Designer, you will play an essential role in producing our design work for print and digital channels.
Reporting to the Studio Manager, the post-holder will collaborate with a wide range of internal stakeholders and be responsible for delivering creative solutions that uphold our brand guidelines.
You should have experience working in either an in-house studio or a design agency and be skilled at producing and delivering designs for different media, including print, digital and social. You will have excellent attention to detail and the ability to take instruction and deliver with a can-do attitude. In addition, you will be very proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud programmes and Microsoft Office.

About the role

Members work with RSS staff to support areas such as policy development, education, training, statistical communication, and statistical literacy.
The Director of Professional Services is responsible for our professional affairs activities, overseeing the creation, maintenance and application of relevant standards through our professional affairs committee, and certification and accreditation schemes. They are also responsible for member recruitment and management, ensuring we continue to attract new RSS members and partners, and that their needs are met. They also oversee a range of activities that engage RSS members (including groups that bring members together on a topic or geographical basis, RSS honours and awards, and our volunteering opportunities), securing both our impact on society and member retention.
Informed by an in-depth understanding of the needs of members and prospective members, the Director manages these activities strategically across the organisation, bringing relevant staff together within small teams working on defined goals that support our objectives, foster a sense of value and community for all members and ultimately lead to the growth in membership and impact of the Society.
Pension and benefits: Our defined contribution pension scheme can be joined after three months in post. RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Creating, developing and evaluating hyh’s online and social media presence to engage supporters, stakeholders and the wider public and to maximise digital fundraising opportunities. The role also supports the development of digital content to support service delivery at the charity leading on public and internal comms.
The Digital Communications Assistant will:
Contribute to hyh’s overall Fundraising & Communications strategy as a member of the Fundraising & Communications Team
Improve supporter acquisition and retention through digital channels, building engagement and loyalty.
Source, generate, edit, schedule and post written, visual, audio and video content that drives brand awareness, is shareable and encourages actions to generate income.
With guidance, deliver outstanding and innovative communications for different audiences and across multiple channels which align with hyh’s Comms plan.
Inspire, inform and motivate supporters to give to hyh as well as demonstrating the impact of their donations on beneficiaries.
Learn to manage a calendar programme of social media and website activity.
After training, act as the first point of contact for social media and our website, responding appropriately and championing and signposting people to the work of hyh
Create and update content for hyh’s website
Develop and grow TikTok content which is engaging and educational, becoming hyh’s expert on this channel
Create digital materials to support the Fundraising team across all income generation streams with their activities and campaigns throughout the year.
Over time, act as a brand champion within hyh, promoting the use of social media and encouraging greater understanding of the website and social media channels
Keep abreast of new developments, trends and technologies, identifying and proposing new digital opportunities for hyh.
Understand, evaluate and circulate social media and website analytics.
Develop digital projects to support delivery of hyh’s services to support young people facing homelessness

Islamic Relief UK (IRUK) is actively recruiting for the position of ‘Digital Partnerships Coordinator’ on a full time, permanent basis, to be based from its Waterloo Office, London. The organisation is currently operating to a hybrid working model.
The purpose of the role is to maintain existing and develop new partnerships with social media influencers, and digital publishers, to broaden the reach of Islamic Relief UK’s messaging and campaigns, as part of Islamic Relief UK’s wider influencer programme.
To raise funds for Islamic Relief’s life-saving programmes by leveraging new and existing digital partnerships.
The successful candidate must have:
- Demonstrable experience of implementing digital engagement and social media campaigns to garner support for a cause
- Understanding of the major technology-driven changes and trends affecting the online media and advertising industries
- Experience of creating convincing proposals, pitch documents and/or presentations to attract new partnerships or sponsorships
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Managing influencer marketing campaigns and/or campaigns with digital/social media publishers
- Recruiting high profile individuals and/or social media influencers to support marketing campaigns
- Developing digital content geared towards the British Muslim community
- Experience in live video production, and utilising live video to deliver engagement and communicate interesting and/or urgent messages to supporters and would be supporters

Contract: Permanent, Part Time (3 or 4 days per week)
Location: The role can be based in the UK or one of the following WaterAid Country Programmes - Nigeria, Kenya, or South Africa (Pretoria), subject to right-to-work eligibility in the respective countries.
