You will be responsible for:

• Growth (income, partnerships, promotion, participation and advocacy) in a designated geographic territory, or sector, within the UK automotive industry
• Identifying and pursue growth opportunities spending 60-80% of your time ‘on the road’ visiting and pitching new prospects and existing partners, and attending networking and industry events
• Agree new income-generating partnerships ensuring Ben’s employer proposition, fundraising events, products, and campaigns are consistently promoted to all employees
• Deliver targeted income growth by agreeing and facilitating corporate donations and fundraising to support our ambitious plans based on defined KPIs and targets
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within automotive companies and other industry organisations
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored solutions and proposals that meet the needs of potential partners
• Stay abreast of industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify strategic opportunities and challenges

• Research, qualify, prospect and pitch potential business opportunities with mid and senior level contacts in SLT, HR, People and Health & Wellbeing and relevant functions

• Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve revenue goals and targets

• Build and maintain a balanced pipeline of prospective clients and partners through proactive networking and relationship-building activities

Causeway supports marginalised and vulnerable people to recover from trauma and develop safe and fulfilling futures. Our modern slavery and crime reduction services include safe houses, outreach, community programmes, holistic crisis interventions and signposting into counselling, training and employment. We drive change nationally through research, campaigning and strategic partnerships. Causeway’s four crime reduction services provide crime and violence reduction programmes for those committed to breaking their cycle of criminality. Our trauma-informed approach to supporting those who commit crime has proved successful in reducing rates of reoffending, which not only benefits the individuals involved, but reduces the number of victims and creates a safer society for all.

How this role fits into the vision and objectives of Causeway

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Service Manager focusing on our Outreach support across the Northwest. This purpose of this role is to manage and maintain high levels of service delivery. You will directly oversee four Coordinators. You will work with those Coordinators to ensure that; contractual KPI's are met, clients are supported effectively, staff are developed, and internal process and procedures are followed, to a high standard. Where required, you will also play a role in implementing service and system improvements

Responsibilities

• Oversight, line management, and support of Coordinators, incl. effective supervisions and yearly appraisals.
• Ensure all KPIs and service standards are met by staff incl. referrals, exits, paperwork submission.
• Use baseline, checklists, quality control and other systems to monitor and support effective service delivery.
• Ensure staff effectively carry out their roles, as per their job description.
• Manage service user or external complaints with the support of Senior Service Manager.
• Work with the other Service Managers, and all stakeholders to use, support and develop appropriate systems and processes, to ensure that services function effectively.
• Ensure all service users are being supported effectively, and assist Coordinators with problem-solving and managing incidents/safeguarding issues, where necessary
• Work in partnership with Safeguarding lead
• Ensure all staff are supported and managed effectively, incl. ensuring annual-leave/sickness/TOIL procedure is followed by Coordinators.
• Ensure appropriate lone-working safety procedures are implemented and developed ere required.
• Ensure all month-end procedure is followed by staff, and information submitted effectively.
• Oversight and regular monitoring of CMS (client-management-system).
• Maintain and develop local services and agency links, attending suitable networking meetings as requested.
• Attend relevant team meetings – incl. management meetings, and local team meetings.
• Communicate with the Salvation Army team where necessary.
• Work alongside P&C team to support Coordinators in managing or problem-solving any HR-related issues.
• Assist in developing and delivering training for staff.
• Communicating with the finance team appropriately with regards to month-end, financial requirements for the local services, and problem-solving.
• Sign off expenses and spend in-line with expenses policy.
• Oversight of staff and on-call rotas.
• Following all Causeway policies and procedures, and bringing insight into policy and procedural development.
• Take a role in supporting volunteers in the region, when required.
• To be ‘on-call’, out of hours approximately one week in four - managing and accepting referrals, and dealing with out-of-hours incidents.
• Oversee other services or a team in the absence of Coordinator (ie. Holiday or sickness).
• To maintain and build the Causeway culture and values across the staff team in the region.
• To promote the work of Causeway this may include; attending fundraising events, conferences, speaking.

Forcesline is SSAFA's frontline telephone service handling both day-to-day and more complex enquiries from the Armed Forces community.

This role is responsible for the management and development of the Forcesline service and will also act as point of contact for the Veterans Gateway.  The Manager will lead and support a team of advisors, developing the service in response to the needs of the clients and technological requirements, as well as ensuring a high quality of service. The role involves the preparation of data, briefings, presentations and some media work.

About the role

This role requires the management of a small team of advisors who provide free confidential listening, information and signposting service for serving personnel, their families, veterans and professionals who are looking for help. It requires a resilient individual who is able to both support the team and develop the service as it moves forward with advances in technology enabling wider means of communicating with those it is helping.  It is an exciting time to join as these changes are currently occurring and you will be involved with this transition.

About the team

You will work with a great team of advisors who are both experienced and skilled. All Forcesline Welfare Advisors are trained in Safeguarding and each practitioner has at least a Level 2 Counselling qualification. Their experience covers former Samaritans, Pastrol Care, Social Work and Police Despatch Calling. As a team they learn and support one another. You as their Manager will be fully involved with this and will ensure SSAFA delivers on its mission as a trusted source of support to the Armed Forces Community as their times of need.

About you

You will have had experience in delivering welfare support to others, and ideally this has been gained through a helpline. While the team is small, some management experience would be desirable. You will also need to be technically competent as most of this work will be done virtually through digital means.

About the role:

We are looking for an Independent Domestic Violence Advisor (IDVA) to be based at Luton & Dunstable Hospital this role will compliment the Hospital IDVA based at Bedford Hospital. This is a full-time post on a fixed term contract until 31st March 2025. The aim of this role is to support victims of domestic abuse predominately risk assessed as standard/medium to compliment our high risk service across Bedfordshire. This is a key role at the hospital working alongside the safeguarding team to ensure that victims of domestic abuse have access to appropriate support.

As an IDVA you will be:

• Providing a high quality support and advocacy service to victims of domestic abuse.
• Managing a caseload; identifying and assessing risks and needs, providing a tailored crisis intervention service through individual safety planning, advocacy, emotional and practical support.
• Working with other agencies and advocating on behalf of service users in order to help them access services to keep them safe.
• Working within a multi-agency framework consisting of partners as well as MARAC and other local partnerships to offer a coordinated response to domestic abuse.
• Promoting the service and raise awareness of domestic abuse through the delivery of training to hospital staff and local partner agencies

You will need:

• Experience of working in support and advocacy with victims of domestic abuse is advantageous
• To be able to prioritise work and deal with competing or conflicting demands/needs and interests and promote organisation interests and values.
• To ideally hold a SafeLives IDVA accreditation, relevant degree, vocational qualification or relevant experience of delivering a service and working with domestic abuse victim's/service users in a statutory, voluntary or community work setting.

Aquarius is a charity that helps people and communities overcome the harm caused by alcohol, drugs and gambling. We are part of ‘One Recovery Buckinghamshire’ (ORB), a partnership between Inclusion (MPFT NHS Trust), Aquarius, and Build on Belief providing support for alcohol and drug issues across Buckinghamshire.

Founded by singer-songwriter and activist, Annie Lennox and other leading women, The Circle is a space for creative ideas, connections and the opportunity to make change. From small beginnings in 2008, we have grown into an independent network of women and allies from all walks of life who are bonded by the desire to live in a world where women and girls’ equal rights and equal opportunities. 

Our vision is future where there is safety for all women and girls. And our mission is to economically empower and end violence against marginalised and vulnerable women across the world by building a network of Global Feminist changemakers who fund, advocate, and amplify. 

Exciting plans have already been put in place and are being implemented by our current Head of Philanthropy and Partnerships. This includes a new major gift, pipeline, new trust and foundation pipeline, corporate partnerships, a music industry initiatives upcoming and more. We are looking for a talented and engaging individual to drive these plans and relationships over the finish line.

We need someone who understands how a charitable organisation with different income streams works, particularly high value, has a passion for global women’s rights and most importantly can deliver the right combination of high-level strategic insight, whilst being hands-on and propositional to drive results. 

The Circle raised over £500,000 in 23/24 with ambitions to grow this to £700,000 in 2024/25 and £1m over the medium term. Existing funders include a mix of trusts and foundations, HNWIs and corporate partners (including L’Oréal Foundation and Universal Music). This role will help to reach these targets through implementing the fundraising strategy and plans currently in place. 

About the role: 

The Head of Philanthropy and Partnerships will deliver on income and our fundraising strategy, while playing a key role in the senior leadership team (SLT). 

Your focus will be driving income and donor engagement via major donors, corporates and special events and initiatives.

Key responsibilities include: 

• Act as a key member of SLT, reporting to the CEO and working closely with associated peers to deliver and achieve the organisational strategy 

• Lead The Circle’s major gift fundraising, with a focus on HNWI, philanthropy advisors, corporate partnerships and trusts & foundations 

• Build a sustainable pipeline of income 

• Drive new business activity – identifying opportunities for partnership/support from a variety of high value sources

• Identify opportunities for special events/initiatives which could also act as cultivation events for new supporters or one-off large scale fundraisers with high ROI. 

About you: 

• An experienced and results driven fundraiser with a major donor and corporate fundraising background

• Demonstrable expertise in securing five-figure donations from HNWIs/corporate partners/T&F (six-figure experience desirable) and understanding of appeals and events. 

• A strategic, creative doer who strikes the balance between leadership, tactics and being hands-on as required 

• Self-motivated with demonstrable ability to take the initiative and drive activity – The Circle is a small organisation, and the team work remotely 

• Knowledge of partnership agreements and due diligence processes 

• A background in international development and/or women’s rights is desirable 

• Events/special initiatives expertise desirable 

We are seeking a Therapeutic Practitioner to join our newly established Health Team. This specialist role will enhance our current provision and improve the quality and breadth of mental health support available to young people. The successful candidate will work within the Health Team, in collaboration with our partner organisation Camden & Islington Young People's Service, to deliver 1:1 emotional and practical support, assist in our drop-in service, and facilitate workshops for all young people experiencing homelessness.

You will specialise in helping young people improve their self-confidence while improving their understanding of difficult emotions such as anger. Additionally, you will focus on developing their thinking and practical skills, as well as coping and de-escalation strategies. As the Senior Technical Adviser, you will bring your expertise, researching skills and commitment to prioritising girl-led approaches to programming research and advocacy. You will work closely with Women’s Right’s Organisations (WRO), Girls’-led Organisations (GLO), Federation Members, girl-researchers, and AAUK advocacy colleagues to co-create the Girl-led Action follow up to Girl-led research. This will involve working with girls to bring about the change they want to see through their research findings.

A key purpose of the technical advisers in the team is to provide policy, advocacy and influencing advise and technical advice to support resource mobilisation and programme quality (when expertise is not in the Federation). Another key purpose of this role is to strengthen AAUK’s reputation as an organisation taking an intersectional feminist, evidence-informed, and decolonial and anti-racist approach to girls’ rights’ research and action, programming and resourcing.

The post holder will have strong, practical experience in developing, supporting, and evaluating the impact of intersectional research led by girl and programming on Girls’ Rights in particular programming that supports adolescent girls’ leadership, reproductive health, prevention and response to harmful practices impacting girls (including early forced and child marriage and FGM/C), gender equality within schools and communities, girls economic rights, and community mobilisation to prevent and respond to violence against women and girls.

About the Compass Project

The Compass Project Coordinator will work as part of an exciting new partnership between Surviving Economic Abuse (SEA), Living Without Abuse (LWA) and RISE (Refuge, Information, Support & Education). The Compass Project seeks to develop best practice responses to economic abuse within the coordinated community response by working with local professionals to help them understand and respond to economic abuse.

About the Compass Project Coordinator role

The Compass Project Coordinator will work to:

• Act as a point of contact for stakeholders across the Project areas (Brighton & Hove, Leicester, Rutland and Leicestershire), coordinating stakeholder engagement and access to training and resources. 
• Work closely with the Interim Women’s Sector Manager to coordinate and implement the Compass Project in pilot sites.

The Compass Project Coordinator will:

1. Collaborate with Compass Project Partners to:

• Support the coordination of training and dissemination of resources to professionals across the two pilot sites.
• Identify and engage with local lived experience groups and women with experience of economic abuse, ensuring inclusion of women from minoritised groups, to inform and guide our work.
• Develop and maintain key working relationships and partnerships with various stakeholders and partners across the two local sites including the facilitation of links with money and debt advice services, and local financial services.
• Support the collection of qualitative and quantitative data from the network for the purpose of project and external evaluation.

2. Facilitating access to economic abuse training and resources:

• Develop and deliver tailored training sessions on economic abuse to enable frontline workers to recognise and respond to economic abuse.
• Work with Compass Project Partners to integrate relevant economic abuse content into existing resources.
•  Implement data collection processes to support the evaluation of the project.
• Ensure effective communication with the project group and coordination of activities across the two pilot sites. Promote and facilitate SEA’s established routes to support for survivors and professionals.

Post Summary 

Free Tibet is a small but effective campaign organisation based in south London. We’re looking for a Fundraising Manager who can transform our routine fundraising and lead expert strategies for income generation.  This role is best suited to an experienced fundraiser who is confident in managing multiple streams of income and a small team. We welcome applications from candidates with diverse professional backgrounds, but you need to have worked in a fundraising management role before.

We are currently implementing a pay grading system at Free Tibet, offering increases with each year of service. The salary for this position starts at up to £45,000 based on the successful candidate’s experience.

Location

Our main office is in Brixton, south London. Fundraising

• Oversee all income-generation activity across Free Tibet and Tibet Watch. Ensure continuous improvement and innovation and an appropriate balance of fundraising activity across all streams. Current streams include postal appeals, online appeals, and the Free Tibet online shop.

• Manage applications for grant funding on behalf of both Free Tibet and Tibet Watch, working with the Fundraising Officer to build a strong portfolio of five and six-figure grants and steward them for renewal.

• Lead on the recruitment and retention of donors, especially Major Donors, and redevelop supporter journeys and stewardship programs. 

• Evaluate new ideas for income generation and strategies for implementation, especially corporate and challenge events / community fundraising. 

• Impact reporting of fundraising activity and the performance of quarterly appeals, with a view to improve internal processes for greater income innovation and ROI.

• Liaise with the Free Tibet Campaigns & Research Teams to ensure that campaigning, digital and fundraising activities are seamlessly coordinated.

• Managing relationships with third party agencies, like mailing services and digital mobilisation agencies, making sure projects are delivered on time, on budget and to the highest standard.

• Ensure that our new Client Relationship Management (CRM) system, Raiser’s Edge NXT, is used effectively and to its full potential.

Leadership & management
