The Role
The Drive Partnership works across the domestic abuse specialist sector, public sector partners and beyond to develop sustainable, national systems in England and Wales that respond effectively to all perpetrators of domestic abuse. In this key role, the Senior Project Management Support Officer will be responsible for supporting the effective project management of a number of our projects and providing administrative support for the wider Drive Partnership Teams.
As a member of the Project Management Office (PMO) a key element of this will be supporting the Drive team and Drive Partnership organisations – SafeLives and Respect, with development and delivery of training products to support workforce development in the perpetrator services sector.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week.
Contract: Fixed term for 2 years (with possibility of extension).
Location: SafeLives Bristol or London office, with flexible home working (with travel to London and Bristol offices, and Drive sites, as required).

You will be confident in working with a variety of stakeholders, including journalists, lawyers and marginalised communities. You will be proactive, able to build and maintain relationships, develop effective cross-channel communications and manage a varied workload. You will be both able and happy to turn your hand to strategic thinking alongside day-to-day delivery, such as copy-editing news pieces for our website or writing press releases. The demand for the service in light of the cost of living crisis has increased substantially over recent years and we are looking to expand our team.
We are seeking an experienced Senior Debt Adviser who has a proven track record in helping and assisting clients facing financial difficulties and providing creative solutions to help alleviate their challenges in a sensitive and supportive role. They will have an awareness of having successfully provided debt advice in a regulated environment. They will have experience of supporting and supervising a team, and monitoring their performance to ensure this remains in line with internal and external requirements.
The successful candidate would be expected to work a hybrid model of delivery - in an office environment, outreach sessions as well as home based. They would be expected to provide advice via omni-channels such as face to face, telephone and email advice.
Main Responsibilities:
● Provide casework covering the full range of debt - Interviewing those that access our service using sensitive listening and questioning skills in order to allow them to explain their problem(s) and empower them to set their own priorities.
● Researching and exploring options and implications so that those accessing our service can make informed decisions
● Ensuring income maximisation through the appropriate take up of income, including those relating to water charges, benefits, tax and housing
● Providing in-depth quality advice and on-going casework, including acting for the client where necessary using appropriate communication skills and channels
● Maintaining detailed case records, ensuring that all work meets all auditing and quality standards and the requirements of the funder

The Digital & IG Manager will be responsible for managing marketing campaigns across a variety of paid marketing channels. This currently includes Meta, Google Search Ads and YouTube and telemarketing, and is likely to include more channels in the future. You will work closely with the interim Senior Acquisition Manager to ensure that the regular giving programme is performing against targets successfully, contributing to the wider fundraising strategy of recruiting new regular givers and increasing our unrestricted, sustainable income.
You will lead on setting up, running and monitoring campaigns as well as analysing and reporting on results on a daily basis. You will create and test new, regular giving propositions based on audience research and data-led results, working collaboratively with colleagues in the Individual Giving and Data teams to monitor and influence donor journeys to ensure strong rates of retention. You will use a combination of the Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, agency reports and War Child’s CRM to track and report on results against target.
Your responsibilities
· Lead on creative development and copywriting across a suite of creative executions. Take responsibility for developing creative concepts and generating ideas for broadcast campaigns.
· Lead on creation, planning and delivery of regular giving acquisition campaigns from start to finish. This includes using data-led insights to build innovative and effective propositions and conversion journeys, with a focus on excellent user experience and recruiting high quality, long-term donors.
· Be responsible for implementing and delivering a strategic testing plan which underpins all Acquisition Campaigns.
· Ownership and day to day management of telemarketing campaigns, including quality control, regular meetings with agencies, results analysis and reporting and data checks.
· Own the donate section of the website – take responsibility for all income generation donate pages, ensuring they are optimised and donate journeys are seamless.
· Monitor, analyse and report on results using internal and external platforms and dashboards. You will use these insights to inform future campaigns and ensure we are spending budget in the most efficient way. You will set targets using KPIs, and regularly report back on progress against target to the Fundraising departments, presenting how regular giving recruitment supports War Child’s strategic priority of increasing sustainable income.
· Develop strong working relationships with other teams and key stakeholders. Appoint, and manage relationships with external agencies, suppliers and partners (digital and direct marketing, telemarketing, technology, creative, web technical etc.) to ensure excellent service delivery and agency management.
· Maintain a strong knowledge of developments, innovations, and new technology in web development, digital performance, digital marketing and social media, and any sector insights and trends, and identify any that may be of benefit/interest to War Child.
· Draw on fundraising knowledge and Direct Marketing expertise to support the interim Senior Acquisition Manager and Heads of Acquisition & Individual Giving with the overall acquisition strategy, including making key recommendations on targets, opportunities for growth, scale back, and spend needed, whilst considering the external environment / trends across the sector, audience insight and campaign learnings – helping to influence strategic decisions on future investment.
· Work closely with the Senior Fundraising Compliance Advisor and other key team members to ensure that all marketing activity is in line with compliance regulations set by the IOF, DMA, ICO, Fundraising Regulator and GDPR legislation.
· Providing support and advice to other Fundraising departments from time to time on fundraising projects which require the use of paid digital channels to drive income. You will use your expertise to help guide the decisions and execution of paid digital media across the organisation.
· Contribute to creating a culture committed to the safeguarding of children and adults and compliant to War Child’s Safeguarding and Adults at Risk Policies.

You are
· An experienced fundraiser with demonstrable knowledge of digital and direct marketing and regular giving recruitment via paid marketing channels, with excellent campaign management skills.
· Someone with a proven track record of successful fundraising results, delivering against income targets to budget and on schedule.
· Analytically and numerically strong, and able to take an evidence-led approach to enhancing performance.
· Able to assess and optimise campaign performance by analysing data patterns and trends and use a range of KPIs to monitor and predict performance.
· Able to demonstrate your experience in developing and implementing successful acquisition campaigns and supporter journeys, alongside a good understanding of how to utilise content effectively.
· Good knowledge and experience of PPC, SEO, digital analytics platforms, data capture, monitoring and tracking and how to utilise this to improve digital performance.
· Someone with previous experience of using Meta Business Suite to create and monitor campaigns.
· An excellent communicator with strong relationship-building skills internally and externally.

· Someone with a successful track record of managing suppliers and agencies &experienced in managing multiple stakeholder relationships at any one time.
· An excellent copywriter, someone who is passionate and experienced at crafting compelling direct marketing copy for adverts and journeys.
· Competent at using databases and Microsoft Office especially Excel, for supporter management, results reporting analysis and insight.
· An excellent multitasker and can prioritise a demanding and varied workload efficiently.
· Able to think creatively, come up with new and relevant ideas,
· Passionate about digital marketing, with an enthusiasm for keeping up to date with innovations and trends.
· Having previously run non-digital direct marketing campaigns from start to finish for regular giving recruitment, as well as digital ones, would be an advantage.

What the job involves
We’re looking for a Gift Aid, Compliance and Fulfilment Manager to join our busy team on a fixed term contract. With your focus on the day-to-day management of our key supplier relationships, you’ll oversee multiple work streams and competing priorities across complex operations.

This role leads estates and facilities management across the organisation. A diverse and hands-on role, you will be highly organised, knowledgeable in estates management practices, including relevant legislation, health and safety and carrying out risk assessments. You will be a great communicator, developing relationships with external contractors and our own internal teams. You will manage a small team of one, and liaise closely with colleagues who have responsibility for the day to day operational uses of our sites, and who want to provide the very best experience to their client users. Main purpose
The Business Manager is a member of the school’s senior leadership team and is responsible for managing the strategic operation of the business functions of the Southover Partnership, including compliance, financial management, health and safety, human resources, premises, IT, and general administration.
The successful candidate will advise on and implement the day-to-day support that enables the Southover Partnership to operate effectively and efficiently, and which allows other members of the leadership team to focus on teaching and learning.
Duties and responsibilities
Leadership and strategy
· Under the direction of the Executive Headteacher (EHT), lead on all financial matters in the Southover Partnership, to enable successful financial performance and to ensure financial decisions are clearly linked to the Southover Partnership’s strategic goals
· Oversee recruitment processes and procedures
· Attend all senior leadership team meetings and report to Trustees where appropriate
· Allocate resources in line with the Southover Partnership school improvement plan and carry out long-term resource planning that reflects the school’s 5-year plan
· Take all decisions in line with the vision and values of the Southover Partnership, and encourage others to do the same
· Oversee and implement a marketing plan for the Southover Partnership, which utilises the Southover Partnership website, signage, the prospectus, and communications with current and prospective parents in collaboration with the EHT and Heads of School
· Monitor developments in technology and consider how it can be used to enhance the Southover Partnership’s business procedures and processes
· Implement the organisation’s fundraising and income generation strategy, choosing fundraising priorities in line with the Southover partnership strategic vision
· Be responsible for performance appraisal for all administrative staff, including supporting professional development
· Alongside the wider leadership team, ensure staff well-being is a priority and that the systems and processes are in place to support staff to be effective in their role
Compliance
· Manage the Southover Partnership’s compliance with statutory obligations including the SCR, and advise others on the relevant legal, regulatory and ethical requirements
· Track all the Southover Partnership policies and ensure they are updated in accordance with the policy review schedule
· Monitor and update the risk register
· Ensure that the Southover Partnership has adequate insurance cover at all times to include employer's liability, public liability, buildings and equipment cover, personal accident, professional indemnity, travel insurance and other relevant cover. (Professional advice should invariably be sought)
·To support the EHT to ensure that the school is compliant with all parts of the ISI guidelines.
Financial management
· In partnership with the EHT & SLT, create and manage the Southover Partnership’s budget and forecast future years’ budgets ensuring it is balanced, realistic, represents an effective use of funds and enables the EHT to make strategic, long-term decisions
· Submit the budget to the Trustee Board annually, & provide and present financial reports at least termly for the Trustees, providing insightful information to aid short- and longer-term decisions, including the consideration of financial risks
· Monitor the budget all year round, by providing monthly management accounts and reports to the EHT, advising where revisions or changes are needed, annotating all material variances and taking actions to rectify negative variances
· Manage day to day financial operations, including cash flow, invoicing, debt collection, payroll, payments and other transactions
· Ensure spending on petty cash and company cards is within the limits of the finance policy. Oversee the reconciliation of these accounts
· Review all monthly postings as part of the month end process, calculating and posting cut off adjustments e.g. accruals, prepayments and deferred income
· Deal with any customer and supplier account queries that have been escalated by the team
· Authorise supplier BACS payments and ensure all other external payments (e.g. PAYE and pensions) are up to date
· Comply with financial reporting requirements and submit statutory returns to the Charity Commission and Companies House
· Prepare accounts ready for audit, liaising with the auditor to ensure a prompt sign off of the annual accounts
· Oversee the Southover Partnership bank accounts on a day-to-day basis, ensuring money is banked, invoices are paid promptly, money owed is collected, and clear records are kept
· Lead on procurement processes, managing tenders where appropriate, conducting due diligence, benchmarking and evaluating suppliers, negotiating deals and ensuring value for money
· Ensure the effective and efficient operation of staff involved in finance, delegating tasks to finance/administrative staff where appropriate; in particular, bookkeeping tasks, Local Authority contract management and resource ordering, to ensure best value
· Ensure that where applicable, Gift Aid is claimed on all charitable donations
· Maintain a strategic financial plan that will indicate the trends and requirements of the Southover Development Plan and will help formulate future year budgets
· At least annually, review calculations of fees and charges made to local authorities and schools to ensure they are appropriate and financially sound
Fundraising
· Investigate and recommend potential funders and funding streams to EHT and Trustees and follow up as required
Human resources
· Manage the Southover Partnership’s payroll provision with the payroll provider and approve monthly payrolls, ensuring all staff are paid correctly in a timely manner
· Manage day to day administration of the Pension scheme re starters, leavers and ad hoc forms, updating pension provider with monthly payroll contributions
· Ensure that recruitment, appraisal, disciplinary and grievance policies are administered in accordance with employment law
· With the EHT, conduct reviews of the Southover Partnership’s staffing structure to ensure effective deployment of staff and financial efficiency
· Ensure compliance with all relevant aspects of employment law including employment protection, equal pay, minimum wage, Working Time Directive, pensions or discrimination on the grounds of sex, race or disability
· Act as the EHT’s adviser on employment matters, including disciplinary procedures and ensure that the Southover Partnership has appropriate disciplinary and grievance procedures. Liaise with the external HR adviser where appropriate
· Participate in the recruitment of staff and handle related administration. Be responsible for ensuring the recruitment procedures are in line with Partnership policies
· Ensure that all relevant staff have contracts of employment including variations and maternity leave arrangements. Keep the Southover Partnership 's standard contracts & terms and conditions of service up-to-date as new legislation takes effect
· Lead on and monitor the effective use of staff access to support, counselling, Occupational Health and Education Support services both internally and externally in accordance with the Partnership policies and procedures
· Work with members of the Partnership Leadership Team to ensure that staff development needs are identified and that appropriate programmes are designed to meet such needs
Health and safety and facility & property management
· With the EHT, supervise the maintenance of the Southover Partnership’s sites
· Supervise the Facilities, Site and IT Officer to ensure Southover Partnership’s compliance with health and safety regulations, and put in place processes and procedures to ensure the safety of all in the Southover Partnership
· Manage the Facilities, Site and IT Officer to:
· Ensure a safe, properly maintained and secure environment on all sites for the stakeholders of the Southover Partnership in which safe and effective learning can be provided
· Ensure the supervision of relevant planning and construction processes is undertaken in line with contractual obligations
· Ensure the continuing availability of utilities, site services and equipment
· Monitor, assess and review contractual obligations for outsourced services
· Ensure ancillary services e.g., cleaning, etc., are monitored and managed effectively
Office administration, IT & management information systems
· Keep records in accordance with the Southover Partnership’s record retention schedule and data protection law, ensuring information security and confidentiality at all times
· Administer Governor Hub
· Attend and support the Finance and Governance sub-committee and full Trustee Board meetings & ensure that the administrative support for school governance is carried out to a high standard
· Be the Southover Partnership’s lead on data protection, taking responsibility for monitoring data protection compliance and advising the Southover Partnership community on data protection issues
· Direct the work of the Facilities, Site and IT Officer to ensure the management of IT and management information at the Southover Partnership is efficient and up to date.
The School Business Manager will be required to safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people and staff, and follow the Southover Partnership policies and the staff code of conduct.
