 Overall Duties of the Fostering Recruitment Manager will include:

• Managing local recruitment in line with the local recruitment strategy
• Making decisions on suitability of enquirers to proceed to application.
• Working proactively to meet and exceed enquiry response times, ensuring all enquiries are progressed efficiently within set timescales.   
• Increasing TACT’s presence in the targeted local area’s by leading on recruitment events
• Collaborating with local foster carers to support and organise recruitment activities.
• Management and oversight of new foster carer enquiries, including undertaking Initial Home Visits of prospective foster carers.
• Leading Skills to Foster training groups and facilitate applicants’ completion of pre-approval L&D to ensure they are well prepared for the fostering role
• Supervising and managing the Fostering Recruitment Officer and / or Assessing Social Worker/s.
• Supervising, quality assurance and making complex decisions in relation to assessments to ensure completion within timescales and to the standards required.
• Writing and producing management and performance information to improve recruitment practices.

As a committed, motivated, and outgoing individual, you will support sexual health education and prevention as part of the Integrated Sexual health Service (ISHS) in Hertfordshire. You will provide interventions in sexual health in outreach locations across the county. This role will sit on the Trusts' Extended Leadership Team and have strategic influence over corporate partnerships direction and income. With corporate partnerships income accounting for almost half of last year's income, this is an exciting opportunity to further corporate income for the Trust. Line managing three corporate fundraisers, this role will motivate the team to scope and develop relationships with new partnerships and will take a lead on those in the six to seven-figure space.

To be successful as the Head of Corporate Partnerships, you will have proven experience of corporate partnerships fundraising and be able to evidence securing and managing multi-year high value partnerships of six and seven figures. This role is a full-time permanent position that will have hybrid working in the London offices for at least two days per week. The salary for this role is £56,000 to £68,000.

Ely Cathedral is seeking to appoint a new Chairperson for our Safeguarding Advisory Group, due to the end of the term of service of the current postholder.

The Chairperson provides an independent perspective on the Cathedral’s safeguarding work, so the postholder will be working for us on a consultancy basis. The current rate of pay is £500 per day. The role is subject to an enhanced DBS check.

The Role

The Primary Specialist will play a crucial role in supporting children affected by the Grenfell tragedy. Working closely with families and primary schools, you will help identify individual needs, develop tailored solutions, and advocate for children’s education and wellbeing.

• Provide advice and guidance to parents on school applications, transitions, and educational rights.

About the Organisation

The Grenfell Education Hub will open later this year to serve those most affected by the Grenfell Tower tragedy. The hub will provide educational support to children, young people, their families, and local schools.

Following a consultation process in 2023 and 2024, the hub will bring together a team of professionals, including four specialist teachers, an Educational Psychologist, a Speech and Language Therapist, an Occupational Therapist, a Careers Coordinator, and a Family Support Worker. Their time will be split between direct work with children and families in the hub and supporting local schools.

Overall Duties of the Commercial Bid Writer & Fundraiser  will include:

• Taking the lead in identifying, coordinating, and managing tendering opportunities, processes, and contracts for TACT.
• Overseeing the commissioning and contractual tender portfolio, which will involve ensuring high-quality submissions, and maintaining compliance with all relevant procedures.
• Contribute to fundraising efforts by developing and managing grant applications, securing corporate partnerships, and coordinating annual fundraising events.

The main requirements for this role include:

• GCSE grade C or above in Maths and English or equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience in bid and tender writing with a strong track record of successful submissions.
• Experience in fundraising, particularly in grant applications, corporate partnerships, and donor engagement.
• Knowledge of fundraising legislation, regulations and record-keeping.
• An understanding of the children’s social care system.
• Familiarity with trusts, foundations, corporate fundraising, and major donor funding mechanisms.

· Proactively support the work of the Mobilisation Team in liaison with the Supporter Care Lead.

· Support the fundraising team with the administration of appeals, campaigns and other related activities.

· Support the Fundraising Team in legacy administration tasks, including corresponding with executors and solicitors.

About the role

The Director of Business Development and Partnerships (DBDP) leads work at the interface between EngineeringUK and the engineering and technology sector that we represent and serve. As a member of the Executive Team, the DBDP brings critical insight of the corporate world and ensures that our engagement activities are relevant to them, represent their breadth and that our research, analysis and policy work draws on current and real-world experience. The Director leads a team that maintains established relationships with businesses, PEIs and funders and builds new relationships, encouraging organisations to support our work through funding, the provision of content and holistic partnership opportunities. 

The Business & Industry team consists of 11 colleagues working under 4 pillars:

• New partnerships 
• Corporate relationships 
• Trusts and foundations 
• Professional institutions and partnerships. 

The Director has 4 line-reports: 3 Heads and one Manager. Each team has a slightly different role in meeting the B&I team strategy, but all work collectively to ensure that key industry bodies and businesses are engaged with our work. 

New partnerships. Engage new businesses with our portfolio of activities including corporate membership, EUK Education programmes, The Tomorrow’s Engineers Code, policy, and other opportunities.

Corporate relationships. Responsible for account managing existing relationships with members, sponsors and funders including supporting STEM strategy development, organising peer-learning opportunities, upgrading membership/funding levels, networking them across EngineeringUK, and deepening engagement across multiple activities.

Trusts and foundations. Managing existing high-value partnerships with funders who support our programmes, engaging new funders to scale our work, working with other teams to develop compelling proposals and raise EngineeringUK’s profile in the grant-making space.

Professional institutions and partnerships. Coordinate engagement with PEIs across EngineeringUK, ensuring a consistent approach and maximising joint value from our partnership. Securing new partnerships (and then managing, renewing and cross-selling the relationship) with SME clusters. 

Reporting to the Chief Executive, and as part of the Executive Team, the DBDP is expected to understand the governance requirements of charities and companies and work with the Board of EngineeringUK to support decision making.

The role is London based at our office at 10 Lower Thames Street, London EC3R 6EN and may involve some travel in the UK . We believe that hybrid working has many benefits and are pleased to offer flexible working with a minimum of 2 days (or 40%) a week in the office and the option for a flexible start and end to the working day in our vibrant central London office overlooking the Thames.
