As a Trust Fundraiser, you will be a key member of our passionate and talented philanthropy team. You will proactively manage a portfolio of charitable trusts and foundations to secure income in support of The Salvation Army’s programme of work in England and Wales, helping some of the most vulnerable people in our society and fighting against injustice.

Key Responsibilities: As a member of the Trust Fundraising Unit, you will be responsible for securing gifts from and building relationships with charitable trusts and foundations. We are looking for a skilled and highly motivated communications professional with significant experience of devising and delivering impactful communications strategies and an impressive track record of effective media work. 

You need to be able to create ambitious, highly strategic plans from scratch and then enjoy rolling up your sleeves and delivering them. We are looking for an enthuiastic and driven Head of Fundraising and Development who has a strong track record of success in strategic development and management of six-figure funding partnerships and relationship building.

You will develop and foster relationships with the aim of obtaining financial support for the sustainable development and growth of QEST. About the Team

Our Legal team is based around England and is made up of over 100 people, delivering housing advice and litigation services for our clients. Working closely with other teams in Shelter Services, we take referrals from them including certified litigation work, controlled work and Housing Possession Court Duty Schemes.  

Shelter Merseyside has been providing housing advice and support services to local people for over 20 years, helping those facing bad housing and homelessness. The Hub work in partnership with a range of organisations to improve the underlying systems that prevent people from living securely in suitable, safe, affordable accommodation. You will be working alongside the Housing Rights Workers, Management and Administration teams, Community Organising and Lived Experience Teams to bring about systemic change locally. 

About the Role

You will assist our solicitors to maintain an active caseload to enable homeless people, as well as those with housing and related problems, to enforce their rights. Your role will be varied and will include taking instructions and witness statements, drafting letters, making applications, providing court representation. The Corporate Partnerships Manager will support KSS's fundraising with corporate partners, businesses, and business-related organisations across all regions (Kent, Surrey and Sussex). The role will help to drive current activity towards its full potential and find ways to grow corporate fundraising through strong relationship management and stewardship.

Main Responsibilities:

- Effectively manage corporate relationships to ensure that these organisations are well nurtured and supported, and that they receive adequate recognition for their contribution towards KSS's continued operation.
- To retain all corporate partners where possible and increase income from our current donors year on year. By having a 12-month plan for key partners and a plan/journey for how to elevate low level donors.
- To create collateral and fundraising mechanisms to support the 12-month plan in Canva and with the assistance of the marcomms team such as: fundraising calendar, flyers for events, t-shirts, seasonal fundraisers e.g. at Easter Guess the eggs in the jar.
- For key partners create a yearly 1 pager impact report of their donation and a more general report for other partners.
- To plan and deliver at least two networking/stewardship events a year at Redhill and Rochester for current donors with the support of the events team where required.
- Oversee all day-to-day activity with our corporate relationships, ensuring that activity is effectively coordinated and that broader teams support delivery (e.g. volunteer development, events and supporter experience).
- Proactively research and recommend opportunities for KSS to increase the value of corporate relationships including (but not limited to) donations, staff fundraising, payroll giving and participation in events.
- To own and manage the monthly visits to Redhill and to plan visits for key partners separately to these days.
- To be responsible for and own the sponsorship budget sourcing sponsorship for KSS events from existing donors and new donors.
- Support colleagues with seeking corporate sponsorship and involvement in KSS owned events.

ENS is seeking a Communications Coordinator to play a key role in enabling ENS to fulfil its mission to break the cycle of statelessness in Europe and realise everyone’s right to a nationality.

This is a great opportunity to help us deliver our new Strategic Plan working at the forefront of one of the most pressing human rights issues. The successful candidate will coordinate ENS’s communications work and help raise awareness and galvanise our membership to end statelessness.

The European Network on Statelessness (ENS) is a civil society alliance of over 180 members in 40 countries, committed to breaking the cycle of statelessness in Europe and realising everyone’s right to a nationality. We are dedicated to raising awareness about statelessness, supporting legal and policy development, and building civil society’s capacity to act. At the heart of our work lies the understanding that stateless people and their communities should be leaders of change.

We are looking for someone with a solid track record in developing and promoting engaging content to affect change on hard-to-win issues. The candidate should also have practical knowledge of online communications tools - including Mailchimp or similar email platforms, website Content Management Systems, CRM, and social media management platforms.

Working under the supervision of the Head of Communications, Operations & Development, the postholder will work closely with key partners, members, and other ENS staff to increase the impact of our advocacy work by developing engaging content. They will also support our efforts to put people and communities affected by statelessness at the centre of our communications work.

The post’s day-to-day responsibilities will among other things involve coordinating a busy online website and email publishing schedule, managing social media, and publication design and publishing.

The successful candidate will have experience working in a busy communications environment. The candidate will be highly articulate in English (other languages are an asset) with experience of working with diverse communities and stakeholders.

About Black Cultural Archives (The BCA)

Inspired by Pan-African civil rights leader Queen Mother Moore, our founders established Black Cultural Archives in 1981 with a mission to create Britain's first archive-museum dedicated to representing the culture and history of Black people in Britain. Today we are a national institution dedicated to collecting, preserving, and celebrating the histories of Black people in Britain in order inspire and give strength to society. Our work falls into three areas: Collect and Activate - covering the work of our collections team to make our archive materials accessible for research and knowledge production, Educate and Inspire= covering the work of our learning team and workforce development projects to support Black history education and heritage skills development, and Celebrate and Champion - covering our exhibition and events programme that encourages engagement with the knowledge held within our archives.

What we need from you

As a talented fundraiser, developing new business across various income streams, you will possess fantastic written and verbal communication skills, and have a proven ability to successfully apply these to a range of products and audiences in order to increase income.

You will be able to balance the needs of the audience and organisation and ideally, you'll also have some experience of managing events, and genuinely care about giving outstanding support to your stakeholders in order to generate more money.

You will grow to understand our potential donor pool and hold a vital role in planning events and coordinating other activities to encourage donations and help us move toward our vision of being the home of Black British history. You will work with a close-knit, enthusiastic team under the Managing Director to meet and exceed fundraising goals.

You will have a proven track record of generating income by writing high-value trusts and foundation proposals and the ability to build and influence relationships at all levels. You will be a creative and emotive storyteller with the ability to work independently and proactively.

About the Role

This is an exciting time to join Young Enterprise as we prepare to launch our Transforming Futures strategy (2024-2030).

The Marketing Executive will play a key role in helping the marketing team with two business transformation projects which are closely aligned with our Strategy: rebranding the charity and launching a new website.

We are looking for an enthusiastic person, with experience of digital marketing and branding, who can work autonomously.

The role will lead on elements of the production of marketing and communication materials in the new brand. The job holder will need to evidence excellent project management skills as they be helping to manage the process of creating and approving a large number of marketing materials. They will also prepare marketing templates for use across the charity, providing advice to colleagues on branding and content.

The Marketing Executive will work closely with our Digital Engagement Manager to liaise with teams across the charity to prepare content and visual assets for the new website.

The job holder will be involved in all other aspects of communications, such as contributing to creating content for social media, helping to prepare and deliver integrated campaign activity, creating basic designs for social assets and helping our internal teams shape and activate marketing briefs.

The job holder will need to quickly develop relationships with stakeholders across the charity, and be able to manage deliverables and support colleagues through the transformation projects.

Occasional travel will be required to England/Wales to attend YE events, e.g. to capture content for social media.

We Are Looking For

• Experience of print and digital marketing – working with design, social media and other digital channels, with content tailored for different audiences.
• Experience of a rebrand process.
• Experience in developing a new web presence.
• Excellent attention to detail and proofreading skills.
• Agile project management and organisation skills, including proven ability to plan and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Experience of working with agencies including writing briefs, overseeing work and providing feedback.
• Candidate is likely to have at least three years of relevant experience.
• Understanding of brand and design, and optimal ways to use them to create standout and engagement.
• Energy, drive and a positive attitude that motivates others.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with a wide variety of stakeholders, utilising negotiation and persuasion skills.
• Design/editing skills – Canva or Adobe (Indesign, Photoshop, Premier Pro).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Working alongside other disciplines (UX Designers, Marketing, Digital Producers, Graphic Designer, Video Producer) you will identify user and business needs and create solutions to meet those needs.

You will spend time testing, writing and optimising content for Tearfund's channels (website, email, social media and print) in collaboration with marketing teams and subject matter experts within our content production workflow.
