Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and executing a comprehensive marketing and communications plan that aligns with the charity’s overarching goals and values 

• Plan, create, execute and manage integrated marketing campaigns to promote services, events and fundraising initiatives, ensuring that all communications adhere to our Brand Guidelines

• Create engaging promotional materials, including posters, social media images, leaflets, roller banners, and booklets using Canva

• Promote the charity’s services and build brand awareness across various social media platforms

• Monitor and manage all social media channels, appropriately responding to comments as well as creating, scheduling and analysing engaging content

• Regularly update and monitor the charity’s website, such as adding events, updating web pages and tracking analytics via WordPress

• Create and send regular newsletters with organisational and community updates, tailored to both client and stakeholder audiences, and measure their effectiveness

• Contribute to the review of policies and procedures relating to marketing and communications as required

• Promote our services at events in the community

• Assist the management team with tasks that support the overarching organisational strategy, providing marketing guidance as required

The Social Worker or Senior Social Worker’s role is a pivotal one within our Adoption service.  Some of your responsibilities will include:

· taking part in recruitment activities and training for prospective adopters

· undertaking ‘home study’ assessments (PARs) and present these to the adoption panel

· support families throughout the matching process and once children are placed, up until the Adoption Order

About you:

As a Social Worker, you’ll bring a minimum of 2 years post qualification experience in childcare social work and an understanding of child development and the impact on behaviour of interrupted development.

As a Senior Social Worker, you’ll bring a minimum of 3 years post qualification experience in childcare social work, and previous experience of completing adoption assessments (or similar), or family finding/supporting children in their adoptive families.

Key Responsibilities: 

Fundraising:

• Conduct research on potential funding opportunities and grant applications 

• Assist with the development and implementation of fundraising campaigns

As an Associate Director in the Paid Media Team, you'll oversee the execution of digital advertising campaigns across clients ranging from leading UK and global charities and UN bodies, to global brands and their CSR programmes.

A day in the life

• Translate clients’ strategic visions into media objectives and KPIs to accomplish a wide range of client objectives including direct response (lead gen and fundraising), awareness, persuasion, and advocacy.
• Analyse ongoing and historical performance data to identify opportunities for improvement, make strategic recommendations, and generate reporting and insights to drive optimisation.
• Have a strong POV on measurement, attribution, and conversion tracking, and apply that knowledge to strategic recommendations and ongoing campaign management.

Some things we're looking for

• 6-8 years experience in a hands-on paid media planning and buying role using a mix of digital channels (Social, Search, Display, Video, Audio, etc) 
• Demonstrated experience translating client business goals into cohesive media strategies and specific KPIs, and a record executing campaigns that delivered on those goals.

This is a new role in our Participation Team to help us deliver work that amplifies the voices of people with lived experience to find solutions to homelessness and health inequalities. The post holder will lead a few projects and partnerships, with responsibility for planning and delivering activities and monitoring their progress.

Some examples of current projects are:

• Coordinating and supporting a group of six people with lived experience to co-design an immersive audio story and campaign to improve the health of people living in temporary accommodation in London. 

• Working with the City of London Corporation to embed meaningful co-production practices in their homelessness services; bringing people with experience of homelessness, frontline staff, and commissioners together to improve service design and delivery. 

Your main task will be to coordinate groups of people with lived experience of homelessness and health inequalities, alongside Groundswell peers and colleagues, services, local authorities, funders and policymakers.

In this role, you will provide an accurate and efficient service to process legacies, ensuring they are handled in line with legislation, policy, and best practice. By using your skills, you will contribute to one of our most important income streams, supporting our work in transforming the lives of people with sight loss.

You’ll manage a diverse caseload of pecuniary, residuary, and life interest legacies. You will correspond professionally and sensitively with personal representatives, professional advisers, charity co-beneficiaries, and other stakeholders to resolve legacy cases effectively. Your role will involve preparing briefing notes for Trustees, managing estate and trust account reconciliations, and ensuring that taxes, including Capital Gains, Income, and Inheritance Tax, are handled correctly, safeguarding Guide Dogs’ interests. You’ll also protect Guide Dogs’ position when property or land is involved, securing necessary valuations to achieve the best possible value. Additionally, you will stay up to date with changes in probate, tax, and trust law, ensuring your approach is always in line with the latest regulations and practices.

Purpose of the role:
 
The Domestic Abuse Housing Alliance (DAHA) is the leading specialist domestic abuse organisation supporting housing providers to improve their response to domestic abuse, through our membership model, accreditation framework and training packages.
 
We use our practice-based experience to work alongside partners across the housing and domestic abuse sector to influence policy and national decision making through our DAHA-led National Domestic Abuse & Housing Policy and Practice Group
 
Our model for a housing response to domestic abuse is nationally recognised as best practice, through the Domestic Abuse Act Statutory Guidance 2022, and is endorsed by the Domestic Abuse Commissioner for England & Wales, Nicole Jacobs.
 
As the DAHA Programme Manager will oversee the development, delivery, and funding of the DAHA programme, ensuring it aligns with the business plan and strategy. This role is responsible for managing the DAHA accreditation framework, membership, training, and driving programme growth and sustainability. By leading the DAHA programme, the role directly contributes to improving the housing sector’s response to domestic abuse, ensuring survivors receive trauma-informed, needs-based housing support that enhances their safety and recovery.
 
Key Duties – What you will be doing:

• Lead and oversee the DAHA accreditation and assessment framework
• Manage Senior Regional Leads to ensure effective delivery of accreditation processes.
• Oversee the development of proposals, contracts, and agreements with housing providers seeking accreditation.
• Monitor and evaluate the impact of DAHA accreditation on service delivery.
• Promote and advocate for DAHA accreditation through events, social media, and policy engagement.
• Collaborate on developing and ensuring the sustainability of DAHA Membership and Training Models.
• Support the delivery of DAHA’s training packages for housing providers.
• Ensure financial sustainability of DAHA models, providing quarterly updates.
• Champion DAHA’s anti-racist and intersectional work in housing provision.
• Support recruitment, team communication, and the implementation of the DAHA strategy.

 
About You – Skills & Experience:

• In-depth understanding of the intersections of Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG), domestic abuse, and housing, with a strong commitment to an intersectional and anti-racist approach.
• Extensive knowledge of the DAHA accreditation programme, including the unique challenges faced by national housing providers in implementing and maintaining accreditation.
• Comprehensive understanding of domestic abuse and housing legislation, guidance, and best practice standards, with the ability to apply this knowledge to support housing providers.
• Proven experience in both frontline and second-tier roles within the housing and domestic abuse sectors, demonstrating a holistic understanding of the issues and effective response strategies.
• Demonstrated ability to influence national policy and practice by collaborating with key stakeholders and advocating for improvements in housing and domestic abuse responses.
• Strong leadership experience, including providing strategic oversight, managing team priorities and resources, and offering line management support to ensure effective delivery.
• Experience in managing business plans and budgets, with a proven track record in monitoring income and expenditure, identifying and managing risks, and ensuring sustainability.
• Proven ability to develop and implement robust project monitoring and evaluation frameworks, producing comprehensive reports for funders and project partners.
• Exceptional organisational and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and competing priorities effectively.
• Excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external partners at all levels.

The London Diocesan Fund (LDF) is seeking a Property Finance Business Partner to play a key role within the Finance and Operations team, contributing to the Diocese of London by supporting our property teams, producing property financial reports and annual budgets, as well as being responsible for timely and accurate accounting for property income, expenditure and all capital transactions. 

What You’ll Be Doing: 

• Produce monthly property management accounts, annual budgets and 5-year plans
• Ensure all financial accounting records are maintained to agreed standard  
• Design and implement Capital Project Accounting and Reporting process (against budget and financial plan)
• Maintain and update the Fixed Asset Register
• Post year-end journals, prepare property notes to the accounts
• Finance lead for working groups/committees for large restricted capital projects (advise, report, provide financial information).
• Manage and develop two direct reports

Who We’re Looking For: 

Essential 

• Fully qualified ACCA, CIMA, ACA (or other accredited higher accounting qualification)  
• 3-5 years experience in management and financial accounting in a charity sector
• Practical accounting, general ledger maintenance, control and other account reconciliation experience  

Desirable

• Experience in property, capital projects and investment property accounting.  
• Experience in working with budget holders
