The Principal Learning Lead will play a leading role in developing and delivering Frontline’s Approach Social Work programme, a fast-track master’s in social work and our internal Consultant Social Worker programme.
The role ensures that evidence-informed learning methods underpin the design and delivery of teaching. You will define and uphold high teaching and learning standards, incorporating the latest research, trends, and technologies. Working closely with the Curriculum, Delivery, and Digital Learning teams, as well as external contributors, you will ensure that programmes are cohesive, accessible, and inclusive, equipping participants with the knowledge and skills needed to work effectively with children and families.
Your role will take the lead in embedding and evolving our Quality Standards for Teaching and Learning and acting as a champion for this work across our programmes. You will work alongside the Head of Curriculum, Principal Curriculum Leads and Principal Practice Tutors to ensure a high quality, effective learning experience for our participants. You are responsible for successfully incorporating best practice in pedagogy, through the provision of training, guidance and quality assurance activities across teams.

The Role
The Inclusion Specialist will play a crucial role in supporting children and young people affected by the Grenfell tragedy. Working within the Education Hub and local schools, you will help enhance learning experiences, provide tailored interventions, and ensure inclusive practices for children with SEN.
You will:
- Deliver one-to-one and group-based interventions, including after-school programs and small group teaching sessions tailored to specific learning needs.
- Conduct diagnostic assessments to support the development of tailored learning plans.
- Work closely with families, schools, and community partners to provide holistic support for children with SEN.
- Act as a liaison between families and schools to ensure a cohesive approach to supporting children.

About You

About the Organisation
The Grenfell Education Hub will open later this year to serve those most affected by the Grenfell Tower tragedy. The hub will provide educational support to children, young people, their families, and local schools.
Following a consultation process in 2023 and 2024, the hub will bring together a team of professionals, including four specialist teachers, an Educational Psychologist, a Speech and Language Therapist, an Occupational Therapist, a Careers Coordinator, and a Family Support Worker. Their time will be split between direct work with children and families in the hub and supporting local schools.
The hub’s objectives are to:

- Build the skills and confidence of children, families, and education staff in local schools.

Role Overview
The Senior Fundraising Officer will manage and deliver all fundraising activities for the Suzy Lamplugh Trust, securing general and restricted funds from a range of sources including small and medium charitable Trusts and Foundations, government departments, corporate partners, organisations with CSR programs and potentially individuals, and support the delivery of the integrated fundraising strategy for the Trust, ensuring continued growth over the next three years and beyond.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research prospective funders, doors and sponsors and work closely with senior management, and colleagues in the Operations, Policy & Campaigning, and Finance teams to develop effective cases for support.
- Research and approach prospective funders that are either completely or partially aligned with the work of the Trust and determine if applications can be made.
- Manage the process of raising unrestricted funds through letters or online applicaitions to smaller Trusts or CSR funds, ensuring outcomes and feedback received is captured on the CRM and the annual fundraising plan.
- Write funding bids, proposals and applications forms, effectively communicating the work and impact of the Trust with existing and potential new funders.
- Oversee grant stewardship to best manage existing relationships and pave the way for repeat or new funding.
- Develop and grow the supporter base, working closely with the Trust senior management team to increase support from other organisations at grass-roots level.
- Collaborate with internal colleagues and partner agencies to ensure correct data is captured on funded activities and captured on the CRM.
- Manage funder reports by working with report-owners across different teams to maintain timely, accurate and detailed report submissions, in accordance with terms of grants held.
- Manage, maintain and present the rollover fundraising plan at bi-weekly team meetings, ensuring all approaches and applications are captured on this plan, as well as the CRM.

As a not-for-profit, SafeDeposits donates surpluses generated to its charity, the SafeDeposits Scotland Charitable Trust (“the Trust”). The Trust aims to improve standards in Scotland’s private rented sector by promoting education, training and best practice.
In addition to its grant-giving, the Trust is developing an ambitious research programme designed to inform future policy making and debate. This includes two new national representative surveys: “The Voice of the Tenant (Scotland)” and “The Voice of the Landlord (Scotland)”.

We have a new opportunity within our Policy, Research and Strategy team to join them as a Research and Programme Officer.
This is a full-time, permanent position ideally based within commuting distance of our Glasgow office. However, we are open to considering home-based candidates from other areas of Scotland, depending on their skills and experience.
The purpose of this role is to deliver and support the expansion of SafeDeposits research programme. The successful candidate will work on qualitative and quantitative research projects and ensure findings are disseminated effectively. The role
You’ll coordinate Build Up’s year-round programme of youth-led design and construction projects, managing two Construction Project Managers to deliver them. Purpose
This vital role works alongside the Head of Philanthropy to help build and grow our philanthropic partnerships over the next five years and beyond. 2. Stewardship and cultivation of current and active donors:

b) Leading on the production and submission of applications, proposals and initial approaches (by post, email and, to a lesser degree, phone) and following up as required.

What is Jamie’s Farm? Jamie’s Farm is a charity that supports young people by combining therapeutic work, farming, and purposeful activities to help them thrive. Through residential visits to our working farms, we provide a nurturing environment where young people can reflect, build confidence, and develop the resilience they need to overcome personal challenges.
This role is based at our Monmouth farm, set in a peaceful, rural environment nestled in the Wye Valley, far from the pressures of city life. Whilst commutable from a number of nearby towns and cities, there is the potential for onsite accommodation if interested.
Known within the organisation as ‘Therapeutic Coordinator’
More about the role: As Therapeutic Coordinator, you will be at the heart of our programme delivery. You will oversee the therapeutic aspects of up to four visits from schools and similar organisations per month, providing one-on-one support to young people facing significant challenges. Your expertise will guide both individual sessions and group discussions, fostering a safe space for personal growth. Collaborating with visiting staff, you will ensure each young person receives the care they need, both during and after their time on the farm.
Beyond therapeutic sessions, you will create detailed progress reports and contribute to the immersive farm experience, leading walks, evening activities, and mealtime conversations. This hands-on approach will help strengthen relationships with young people, allowing them to feel supported and empowered throughout their journey with us.

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Capital Development Manager to play a crucial role in reinstating the unique man-made waterfalls in a Grade II* listed park. Supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund, this person will demonstrate strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills to guide a team of expert consultants.

Main Duties/Responsibilities:
This exciting role will lead on developing designs and work plans suitable for planning permission and an application for delivery phase funding from the National Lottery Heritage Fund. Responsibilities include;
- Subcontractor coordination: Lead in the onboarding and management of a Landscape Architect to develop existing condition surveys and recommendations to RIBA Stage 3, ensuring that accessibility is considered throughout.
- Oversight of trials and structural surveys: Ensure low carbon mortar trials, asbestos investigation, gunnite removal tests, and hydrology investigations can be completed by contractors.
- Management of Environmental Impact Assessments: To understand risks to existing habitats and ecosystem services, and develop a baseline understanding of species.
- Renewable Energy Initiatives: Ensure that Landscape Architects work alongside the appointed Community Energy Organisation to integrate renewable energy solutions into final designs.
- Public Consultations: Support in the preparation, delivery, and analysis of public consultations.
- Planning Permission & Compliance: Oversee the preparation and submission of planning permission documents, including those related to energy infrastructure, Listed Building Consent, and new signage installations.
- Documentation: Contribute to quarterly reporting, and ensure detailed method statements, project briefs, risk assessments and other documents required by the National Lottery Heritage Fund are developed.
- Problem-Solving: Identify and implement workable solutions to challenges as they arise during project execution.
- Project management: In addition to conducting regular site inspections and audits to monitor progress and compliance, manage budgets, quality, and timelines, and ensure project delivery aligns with health and safety requirements throughout.
Required Skills, Experience and Attitude:
- Heritage or listed building Project Management expertise: Proven experience in managing complex projects of >£250k on time, and within budget, including procurement, oversight of feasibility studies, and coordinating multiple stakeholders. Demonstrable knowledge of procurement legislation, supplier and contract management.
- Landscape Architecture Management: Experience working with landscape architects to translate feasibility study findings and consultation feedback into actionable design plans.
- Renewable Energy Awareness: Understanding of renewable energy initiatives, particularly in the context of heritage sites, with the ability to support feasibility studies and integrate recommendations into project plans.
- Flexible, methodical, and conscientious approach to working with a range of stakeholders.

Deaf Unity is seeking an experienced evaluation specialist to support evaluation of the charity’s projects, community activity and services.
Our activities engage a broad range of beneficiaries, participants and stakeholders: deaf students and employees; our local deaf community in London; and many different stakeholders – universities, employers and local councils – working with us to remove the barriers that disadvantage deaf people and prevent access to opportunity.
The overall aim of this commission is to equip Deaf Unity with a practical, effective evaluation framework and plan enabling us to capture and analyse our impact across the full range of our activities. We require this in order (i) to improve the design and delivery of our services and activities, on an ongoing basis and (ii) to evidence the charity’s impact and the difference we are making in people’s lives, helping us to make a more powerful case for change and to recruit new funders and partners.

Deaf Unity is a deaf-led charity, based in London, that works to empower, nurture and train deaf individuals. Our particular focus is on three main points of transition that are pivotal in enabling deaf people to realise their potential – and to thrive within and contribute fully to society. We work with our community in London to identify the barriers deaf people face at every stage of this journey, empowering them to make informed choices and to succeed. We partner with stakeholders (universities, employers, voluntary sector partners) to decrease, overcome or eradicate these barriers altogether.
From our home base in London, we work alongside our community and partners to develop and deliver new initiatives in response to clearly identified needs. We directly engage 300+ deaf people each year: inspiring and supporting school-leavers to take their first steps into higher education; empowering graduates and employees to navigate the world of work with confidence; and connecting deaf people with each other to build community, tackle isolation, mobilise around key issues and break down barriers to learning and employment. Sharing and dissemination of our work (including online to reach the national community) goes on to engage far greater numbers.
Deaf Unity generates much of its income from providing interpreting and consultancy services and delivering training (British Sign Language and deaf awareness courses). This activity fully aligns with our charitable mission and generates essential unrestricted funding to support our wider activities.
Context for the commission
In late 2023, the Board of Trustees agreed a forward plan, setting out the charity’s objectives and the activities we plan to deliver over the next 3-5 years. Our work is guided by 5 high-level, strategic objectives. We aim that by 2028:
- Deaf Unity will have created in partnership with London schools a high-quality, effective careers advice pack/toolkit which can be accessed digitally by schools across the UK to inspire and support deaf learners on their FE/HE/vocational journey.

Deaf Unity will be providing a comprehensive package of support around employability, that is recognised and in use by 5 leading nationwide employers and by the National Union of Students (NUS).
- We will be hosting in London a highly respected, impactful annual event for deaf people in work that is reaching 100 deaf people each year, directly or indirectly

Deaf Unity will be able to evidence that the CIO is making a substantial positive difference in the lives of learners, students and employees - through quantitative and qualitative feedback including testimonials and case studies

This commission directly supports objective 4.
In parallel with this, Deaf Unity will work with an Organisational Development consultant to make the transition from a freelance to an effective and well-managed PAYE staffing structure for the organisation, with strong systems and policies embedded across our teams.
This programme of development activity is kindly funded by Trust for London.
In the course of the year Deaf Unity will also be working with a corporate partner offering pro-bono support to redevelop the website and advise on online course delivery.
Overview of role
The evaluation specialist will be required to support Deaf Unity’s CEO and Training & Services Manager in developing an appropriate evaluation framework and action plan to be applied across the breadth of the charity’s activities, with supporting materials (e.g. questionnaires; interview prompts; other approaches). This is in the context of projects that often serve the deaf community, where written responses to feedback forms/online surveys are not always appropriate.
The consultant will support the leadership team to put in place training (not included in the fee) and systems to ensure that freelance teams delivering Deaf Unity’s project and training activities have the necessary understanding, guidance and confidence to support effective monitoring and evaluation of these activities.
Elements of Deaf Unity’s work to be included in this framework are:

We are keen to adopt relevant technology solutions to strengthen our evaluation systems and processes, and to integrate these with existing systems (e.g. CRM) wherever possible.
Schedule
We aim to start work on this evaluation project in April 2025, completing by end November 2025. We expect most of the work to be carried out in the first 4 months, with light-touch support thereafter. The evaluator will be required to work flexibly throughout this period and this will be negotiated with you on appointment, bearing in mind your other commitments.
