The support and delivery of Chichester District Foodbank’s external communications as well as the image Chichester District Foodbank portrays externally to our clients, volunteers, donors and stakeholders.

About Chichester District Foodbank:

Chichester District Foodbank was founded in 2012 and has four foodbanks in Chichester, Midhurst, Petworth and Selsey.  We are part of the Trussell Trust network providing emergency food and support for people locked in poverty and campaign for change to end the need for foodbanks.

We are committed to working alongside people struggling against poverty which results in food insecurity, to learn from and be shaped by their knowledge and experience.

Overall responsibility of the job:

Support the development of communications strategies working with the different areas of the Foodbank to galvanise support for ending hunger and inspire action from key stakeholders.

Support the creation of and deliver communications campaigns both short and long term in line with the overall strategy for Chichester District Foodbank.

Manage conception, design and development, implementation of communications materials and campaigns and analyse outcomes.

Position Chichester District Foodbank as a leading voice for change and promote buy-in of our vision to end hunger in partnership with the charitable and public sector.

Westway Trust is seeking a highly experienced and professional Senior HR Manager to join our vibrant, friendly team of three on a 2-year fixed-term contract to deliver a strong, credible, and reliable service across all aspects of our HR function in support of the range of activities undertaken by the organisation. • Ensure effective up-to-date HR policies and relevant other policies that meet the needs of the Trust and its staff are in place, reviewing them on an agreed schedule in line with the Trust’s Policy Matrix and updating as required. Identify any gaps in the suite of HR policies and develop new policies to fill that gap. Overall maintenance of the Policy Matrix.
• Lead on the Trust’s EDI policy, ensuring that the policy is implemented in a practical way throughout the organisation and in all our activities. Ensure the HR-related recommendations of the Tutu Foundation review into institutional racism at the Trust are progressed to a conclusion.
• Support the Head of Governance and HR in delivering the actions that support preparations for the next Investors in People (IiP) external assessment in late 2024. Ensure the Trust’s HR policies and practices remain consistent with the IiP standard.
• Work proactively with the HR Business Partner on the running of staff recruitment and selection processes, including sitting as the HR representative on the interview panel for more senior roles.

Essential Experience, Skills and Attributes

• Substantial experience of working in HR operations and of developing and reviewing appropriate HR policies and procedures in a charity or similar setting.
• Sound understanding of employment law and a willingness to keep up-to-date with relevant legislative changes.
• A passion for EDI and an ability to be creative and engaging in communications around this subject.
• Strong organisational skills and an understanding of the importance of discretion and confidentiality.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, including evidence of ability to adapt to a variety of cultural settings.

Fundraising Manager – Income Generation and Marketing & Communications

 We are looking for a dynamic, experienced Fundraising Manager to work with us in Camden’s largest charity working with older people.

Purpose

The person in this role will line manage a small and talented team of two officers (Marketing and Content, and Digital Communications), and should enjoy supporting others to flourish through a kind and relational approach.

About the organisation

nia has been delivering services to women, girls and children who have been subjected to sexual and domestic violence and abuse, including prostitution, since 1975. The organisation has three main aims: to provide services for women, girls and children who have experienced men’s violence; contributing to ending male violence against women and girls, and to inform and influence policy and public awareness.
The Emma Project, Daria House and Jan’s Place are specialist services providing refuge and support services to women who have been subjected to domestic and/or sexual violence and abuse, including women who have been sexually exploited, including through prostitution and who also use substances problematically.

About the post

These posts are currently funded until 31st March 2026 with a possibility of further extension. You will work closely alongside the refuges Team Leader and Service Manager to implement and deliver a trauma informed approach to refuge services.

Hours: Four days per week (30 hours) (negotiable for the right candidate)

Purpose of the role

• Accountable for Twins Trust’s annual membership income, delivering a high-quality membership journey through all phases of membership
• Advise on member-focused strategies, plans and measurement that improve member recruitment and retention
• Line manage one Membership Officer, guiding them to provide excellent customer service to Twins Trust's members, process all membership income and update membership information on the database, Microsoft Dynamics
• Support the Head of Development and team in ensuring that membership processes – including processing income - are efficient, effective and implemented consistently
• Draw intelligence from our membership database, analysing data and providing reports to inform decision-making about our membership offer
• Collaborate with fundraising colleagues to maximise fundraising opportunities reaching our membership pool 

Ideal candidate

The ideal candidate will have experience in delivering a membership programme as well as managing the operational aspects of membership processing (database, compliance with codes of practice, data protection and BACS regulations), have excellent attention to detail, the ability to think creatively and analytically, excellent digital skills and IT skills, and a can-do attitude.

• Experience of delivering and marketing membership schemes
• Experience working in a CRM and analysing data to inform decision-making, Microsoft Dynamics experience a plus.
• Excellent communications skills and attention to detail
• Knowledge of GDPR compliance and data protection

• Customer-focused in product development and promotional activities
• Able to collaborate with a team of various disciplines or work independently as required

This is a newly created role with the purpose of maintaining a culture of compliance across the charity whilst ensuring we adhere to all relevant regulations and laws.

Together with the Governance Manager, you will be the key point of contact for compliance, providing advice and support to the team and ensuring we have procedures and controls in place across all areas of the charity. This will include training to ensure the team is skilled and acting consistently, as well as identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing appropriate solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote a culture of compliance and be a point of contact for all compliance and data protection queries, providing accurate advice to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Develop and maintain robust procedures and structures that give the charity the ability to fulfil our regulatory requirements.
• Ensure the charity is aware of, and is reacting to, any fundraising, data protection and other compliance regulation changes, by understanding wider implications.
• Work to maintain a culture of compliance across the charity through the development of training and guidelines that are easy to understand and accessible.
• Conduct regular internal audits to ensure that compliance procedures and policy documents are followed and fit for purpose.
• Assess data risks and complete Data Protection Impact Assessments where needed.
• Assist the Governance Manager in producing ad hoc and annual compliance reports, as well as returns to the Charity Commission and Companies House, so that EHAAT meets their legal responsibilities.
• Update the charity’s data assets file.
• Review contracts and third-party agreements prior to signing to ensure they are in line with compliance regulations.
• Ensure adherence to Fundraising Regulator’s Code of Practice through the undertaking of fundraising  standards audits.
• Provide oversight for the timely management of leases and contracts.
• Ensure necessary insurances and contracts are in place to provide required suitable cover.
• EHAAT is a patient focused emergency medical charity. It is essential that all our staff are competent and confident in the delivery of CPR and use of an AED (defibrillator) in an emergency situation. For this reason, you will complete in house, CPR and AED awareness training annually.
