Overall responsibility of the job:
Support the development of communications strategies working with the different areas of the Foodbank to galvanise support for ending hunger and inspire action from key stakeholders.
Support the creation of and deliver communications campaigns both short and long term in line with the overall strategy for Chichester District Foodbank.
Manage conception, design and development, implementation of communications materials and campaigns and analyse outcomes.
Position Chichester District Foodbank as a leading voice for change and promote buy-in of our vision to end hunger in partnership with the charitable and public sector.

Westway Trust is seeking a highly experienced and professional Senior HR Manager to join our vibrant, friendly team of three on a 2-year fixed-term contract to deliver a strong, credible, and reliable service across all aspects of our HR function in support of the range of activities undertaken by the organisation. Key responsibilities of the role include but not limited to:
- Provide high quality support to the Head of Governance and HR on aspects of the Trust’s HR function and on the provision of accurate, timely and relevant updates and reports as required by the Executive Team.
- Ensure effective up-to-date HR policies and relevant other policies that meet the needs of the Trust and its staff are in place, reviewing them on an agreed schedule in line with the Trust’s Policy Matrix and updating as required. Identify any gaps in the suite of HR policies and develop new policies to fill that gap. Overall maintenance of the Policy Matrix.
- Lead on the Trust’s EDI policy, ensuring that the policy is implemented in a practical way throughout the organisation and in all our activities. Ensure the HR-related recommendations of the Tutu Foundation review into institutional racism at the Trust are progressed to a conclusion.
- Support the Head of Governance and HR in delivering the actions that support preparations for the next Investors in People (IiP) external assessment in late 2024. Ensure the Trust’s HR policies and practices remain consistent with the IiP standard.
- Work proactively with the HR Business Partner on the running of staff recruitment and selection processes, including sitting as the HR representative on the interview panel for more senior roles.
Essential Experience, Skills and Attributes
- Substantial experience of working in HR operations and of developing and reviewing appropriate HR policies and procedures in a charity or similar setting.
- Sound understanding of employment law and a willingness to keep up-to-date with relevant legislative changes.
- A passion for EDI and an ability to be creative and engaging in communications around this subject.
- Strong organisational skills and an understanding of the importance of discretion and confidentiality.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including evidence of ability to adapt to a variety of cultural settings.
- A team player, with excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to earn quickly the trust and confidence of staff and other stakeholders.
Desirable Experience, Skills and Attributes:
- A good knowledge/understanding of the local area and community or demonstrable willingness to learn quickly.

Purpose

The person in this role will line manage a small and talented team of two officers (Marketing and Content, and Digital Communications), and should enjoy supporting others to flourish through a kind and relational approach.

About the organisation
nia has been delivering services to women, girls and children who have been subjected to sexual and domestic violence and abuse, including prostitution, since 1975. The organisation has three main aims: to provide services for women, girls and children who have experienced men’s violence; contributing to ending male violence against women and girls, and to inform and influence policy and public awareness.
The Emma Project, Daria House and Jan’s Place are specialist services providing refuge and support services to women who have been subjected to domestic and/or sexual violence and abuse, including women who have been sexually exploited, including through prostitution and who also use substances problematically.
About the post
These posts are currently funded until 31st March 2026 with a possibility of further extension. You will work closely alongside the refuges Team Leader and Service Manager to implement and deliver a trauma informed approach to refuge services.

You’ll have a ‘can-do’ approach and demonstrable commitment to nia’s approach to Prioritising women, upholding and promoting feminist, trauma-informed and anti-racist practice.

The Young Carer Engagement Officer will play a pivotal role in taking our young carers work in education and employment to the next level in Wales as we strive to ensure a fair future for young carers and young adult carers. Membership Manager
This is an exciting opportunity to join an ambitious and talented team in maximising income from a committed membership base with lots of potential.
With a healthy existing membership base, this role will support the Head of Development in evaluating and enhancing our membership offer to secure sustainable income for Twins Trust. You will be supported by a Membership Officer.
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Four days per week (30 hours) (negotiable for the right candidate)

Purpose of the role
- Accountable for Twins Trust’s annual membership income, delivering a high-quality membership journey through all phases of membership

This is a newly created role with the purpose of maintaining a culture of compliance across the charity whilst ensuring we adhere to all relevant regulations and laws.
Together with the Governance Manager, you will be the key point of contact for compliance, providing advice and support to the team and ensuring we have procedures and controls in place across all areas of the charity. This will include training to ensure the team is skilled and acting consistently, as well as identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing appropriate solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote a culture of compliance and be a point of contact for all compliance and data protection queries, providing accurate advice to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Develop and maintain robust procedures and structures that give the charity the ability to fulfil our regulatory requirements.
- Ensure the charity is aware of, and is reacting to, any fundraising, data protection and other compliance regulation changes, by understanding wider implications.
- Work to maintain a culture of compliance across the charity through the development of training and guidelines that are easy to understand and accessible.
- Conduct regular internal audits to ensure that compliance procedures and policy documents are followed and fit for purpose.
- Assess data risks and complete Data Protection Impact Assessments where needed.
