About the role:
This role is based in London and offers hybrid working both from home and our office in Singer Street. As an Independent Domestic Violence Advocate for Male Victims you will:
- implement effective ways of working with male victims and those supporting them to increase safety and reduce harm
- provide a high-quality, front-line service to male victims of domestic abuse, delivering a premium service prioritised according to risk, primarily focusing on victim/survivors aged 16+
- initiate, develop, maintain and monitor multi-agency links through procedures and protocols to keep safety central to all services for victims of domestic abuse
- specialise and be leading practitioner for Male victims of domestic abuse; providing advice, guidance and single point of contact for a male victims
You will need:
- Have a knowledge of help-seeking barriers and support needs of victims of domestic abuse (in heterosexual or same-sex relationships).
- Have a good understanding of domestic abuse including the impact of domestic abuse on victims and their children.
- Understand the principles of risk assessment, safety planning and risk management for victims of domestic abuse and their children
- Understand safeguarding issues, and the legal responsibilities surrounding these issues.
- Direct service delivery to victims of domestic abuse or other vulnerable people.
- Have excellent communication, negotiation and advocacy skills, both written and verbal when interacting with a range of agencies and individuals. Understand and be committed to equal opportunities and diversity issues in policy and practice.

About the role:
The Specialist Housing Advocate will work within a dynamic, fast paced team to provide intervention, advocacy and support that empowers women and ensures that the voice of survivors informs every stage of their journey towards improved safety. This is a new and exciting service, and we are looking for someone passionate about ensuring that all survivors of domestic abuse are able to access safe and appropriate accommodation which meets their needs.
To be successful as Specialist Housing Advocate you will need the below experience and skills:
You will have an excellent understanding of domestic abuse and its effects on survivors and their children, and of best practice within the domestic abuse and housing sectors. You will be skilled in risk management and safety planning, remaining calm in a crisis and in handling sensitive information on a daily basis. The post holder will hold a caseload of survivors and will also be required to support Advance’s duty team on a rota basis which will involve completing intake assessments and providing crisis intervention support.

About the role:
This role is based in Rumney Police Station, Cardiff with the opportunity for hybrid working. Travel within the local area will also be required. As a ASB Victim' Champion you will:

About the role:
This role is home-based and requires regular travel within the Cumberland area, due to the location, a driving license and access to a vehicle is considered an essential requirement. As a caseworker, you will:
Effectively manage a caseload of self-referrals or referred service users, delivering excellent services which support the commissioners and their service goals to victims.
Ensure each victim receives an individually appropriate tailored support and information service that fully meets their needs, keeping complex needs central to all processes and decisions
Undertake risk and needs assessments to address the specific needs of the client in line with VS operating procedures. To follow relevant safeguarding policies and procedures, working with safeguarding leads and other agencies to ensure an integrated approach to address any safeguarding concerns.
Provide information and advocacy to enable service users to navigate and understand the criminal justice process and ensure their rights are upheld in accordance with the Victims Code of Practice this could include criminal, legal and if relevant, civil remedies to service users.
You will need:
- Experience of working with vulnerable adults and/or families
- Understanding and knowledge of an active commitment to promoting equal opportunities, inclusion and diversity
- Ability to work without direct supervision, prioritise work and deal with competing or conflicting demands/ needs and interests in an organised and methodical manner
- Understanding of confidentiality and safe working practices, in accordance with safeguarding and data protection legislation

About the role:
This hybrid role is based in Brighton & Hove. There is a mandatory office attendance requirement with a minimum of 1 day a week.
The role will involve:
- Making initial contact assessing and providing information to victims/survivors of domestic abuse
- Providing any immediate safety and support needs for the victims/and their children(s) including safeguarding when required.
- Providing administrative support to our wider team to support them in the delivery of advocacy to victims/survivors of mainly domestic abuse.
- Liaising with the police and other agencies to ensure all relevant information is collected including safe contact numbers and consent from victims/survivors.
- Gathering feedback from service users and collating this into monthly reports and contributing to monitoring information for the service.
- Participating in regular supervisions and reviews.
You will need to:
- Have a good understanding of domestic abuse including the impact of domestic abuse on victims and their children.

- Understand Safeguarding issues, and the legal responsibilities surrounding these issues.

About the role and the London Adult Service:
The London Adult Service is a transformational service which aims to provide end-to-end support and casework to victims and witnesses of crime in London. The service is funded by the Mayor's Office for Police and Crime (MOPAC) and is a key part of the London criminal justice landscape. About the role:
Victim Support have been successful in securing funding for the delivery of Drive. Drive is an innovative national framework that aims to improve the lives and safety of victims and children affected by domestic abuse by holding high-risk perpetrators to account. This involves the identification and targeting of high risk/high harm perpetrators and combines case management with a co-ordinated multi-agency response.
This role is based from our Blackpool Office, delivering a service that covers Blackpool, Wyre, Fylde, Lancaster and surrounding areas. You will be eligible to apply for Hybrid working (2 days per week from home) after successful completion of your probation.
The Victim Liaison Officer will act as the conduit between Independent Domestic Violence Advisors (who support high risk victims of DA) and Drive Case Managers (who support perpetrators) to ensure that risks posed to victims are assessed and information is shared in order to minimise that risk. You will be responsible for:
- Contacting victims to conduct risk assessments, safety planning and referrals to IDVA and other services as appropriate.
- Supporting clients to understand the purpose of Drive and assist them in recognising the features and dynamics of domestic abuse present in their situation.
- You will be a key member of the perpetrator panel. You will research and gather information to present the views of victims and the risks posed to them in order for risk to be managed and mitigated where possible.
You will need:
- An in depth understanding of domestic abuse, risk assessment and risk management including experience of working with victims of domestic abuse.
- Understand the principles of risk assessment, safety planning and risk management for victims of domestic abuse and their children
- Have theoretical, practical and procedural knowledge of civil and criminal justice remedies for victims of domestic abuse and their children

We are delighted to be recruiting for a highly motivated, experienced and influential Fundraising Manager to be a key contributor in ensuring we continue to transform young lives through sailing and other opportunities.
As a member of our Senior Management Team, you will be responsible for managing the Fundraising Team in Poole and directing the activities of those in other ASF locations to generate income against set targets and develop new income streams, working collaboratively with the CEO and wider ASF team.
You will need to use your gravitas and well-developed influencing skills to nurture relationships and articulate the benefits of ASF work to key high value donors to leverage more sizeable donations. You will use your well-developed networks to further build our funding portfolio. This includes developing partnerships with corporate businesses and local communities.
Working collaboratively with the Growth and Performance Manager, The Operations Teams, Finance Manager and the Trustees you will demonstrate a proven ability to develop, write and deliver high quality applications and proposals for funding.
Planning, supporting and attending ASFs regular fundraising activities, events and dinners is a key requirement for the role.
