We have an exciting opportunity for a Hub Administrative Assistant to work alongside our Hub Team Administrator for a fixed-term, from January 2025 until June 2025. This role will support our Community Work Manager with the administration necessary to deliver our community work. This currently includes two food pantry sessions a week, and a combined pop-up pantry and Living Room (warm space) session each week.
Key responsibilities of this role will be:

About the role
Our client is looking for an experienced assessor and internal quality assurance professional to join their friendly Learning & Development Team. This is a dual role, working across two departments; you will have responsibility for the Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) process for their School and College assessors, and you’ll be assessing and quality assuring their internal care staff qualifications, driving forward the quality, performance and improvements across the teaching and learning provisions.

- Outreach - increasing uptake amongst schools and youth groups

Your role:
- Provide excellent delivery, teaching and course leadership to learners across TreeHouse School.
- Safeguard and promote the welfare of the children and young people we support.
- Work with pupils to ensure they receive a service that delivers the outcomes specified in their individualised learning, person-centred plans.
- Prepare and deliver schemes of work, lesson plans, assignments and assessments in line with departmental and awarding body requirements.
- Work collaboratively with allied health professionals as part of a trans-disciplinary team.
Our learners are mostly pre-verbal or use assistive communication systems to make their needs understood and follow different pathways depending on their needs and strengths, these are pre, semi and formal and you can read more on our website.

Role Overview:
The Executive Director is a new role for RLS. The successful candidate will lead RLS through its next phase of development, providing strategic leadership, promoting organisational cohesion and accountability whilst driving the fulfilment of our mission. As a representative and advocate for RLS, the Executive Director will oversee key areas such as organisational development, strategic planning, fundraising, robust financial planning, risk management, staff well-being, and external relations.

Person Specification
Essential:

Proven leadership in an organisation focused on human rights, migration, or a related sector.

Strong strategic planning and organisational development experience, ideally in a fast-growing setting.

Experience leading remote, diverse teams and implementing inclusive HR practices.

Deep understanding of the immigration and asylum landscape in the UK and Europe.
